X35 Earthwalker The Quarry

The Quarry is a horror narrative game developed by ‘Supermassive Games‘ and published by ‘2K‘. The Quarry is said to be coming out the 10th of June 2022 ion the Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One, PS5, PS4 and PC. The Quarry is another big story narrative design making game. Delivering great narrative games is not that hard but there’s things that need to be taken into consideration. X35 Earthwalker is the expert here. Let’s take a look.

The story in The Quarry easy to understand. Basically a whole group of teenagers, 9 of them, have the Hackett’s Quarry camp all to themselves for one last night. They are the camp counselors. They are all by themselves in a forest upstate in New York. So no adults, definitely no children and off course no rules. On top of all that, it’s summer. So you can imagine how this will go. Teenagers, during summer, camp all to themselves with no rules. What do you think is going to happen?! If you know, then you know. Interestingly though, things then take a turn for the dark and bad side. As in dangers, horrors, life and death moments and more. So you know, make decisions that could get someone killed or make you regret it later.

X35 Earthwalker The Quarry

The Quarry, being a big horror story game, automatically brings in all the attention. Players will think of previous games like this. For example: Until Dawn, Man of Medan, Little Hope, House of Ashes and Detroit: Become Human. Now those, especially Detroit is are big titles that many youtubers and streamers have played and made content on. Millions have watched and enjoyed them. Emotions, decisions, mistakes, and characters deaths are remembered. So the Quarry already has high expectations and will be judged deeply. We hope the developers were prepared.

If you want more details, go play the game. You should know the deal by now. There’s a story and you follow the characters along. You make decisions and see how the story unfolds. The developers claim there’s “life or death decisions around every turn”. We hope so. Many past big narrative games fail when it comes to this. They were too easy. Hardly felt in danger a lot of the time. The games need to be harder. It needs to be more punishing. It should be that if players pay attention and use some logic they can make good decisions… unless the player is a sucka called Berleezy. Look up Berleezy and Detroit. There’s things we recommended to the previous games but the developers aren’t wise enough to listen to X35 Earthwalker who is wiser, smarter and a better developer in every way.

X35 Earthwalker The Quarry

The Quarry also claims to be an “unpredictable night of horror”. We are hoping it’s unpredictable. These horror narrative games can’t be completely unfair though. These games need to have an auto save permanently record system where players can’t undo their choices unless there’s an in game choice to reconsider. Players need to live with their decisions. If they need to try again, they have to delete and start again but the game should keep count if this is their second attempt or not. They also need to remove the feature to pause the game during timed decision making parts. No pausing. You have limited time for a reason. Gameplay needs to be mixed up too. Quick time event, point and click, walk around and interaction.

We checked out some The Quarry gameplay and it’s what we expected. Giving us a real Until Dawn feeling. Little Hope focused on character traits and if ignored had some consequences. Detroit: Become Human had many variables that determine the ending you got and we hear there’s well over 40 different endings in that game. The Quarry we hear also has numerous variables which determine how the story ends. This means more replayability as well. Now check this about. It’s been said that each of the 9 teenagers have 10 to 12 different ways they can die each. Meaning that keeping them all alive is king to be a tough task. That’s what we want to hear. We also heard that the play length time of a run is around 10 hours. That’s big! We like that there’s bonuses for playing again. Not only are there collectible cards which we won’t explain here but there’s a death rewind feature. You can undo and retry the first 3 character deaths in your next run through of the game. Some mercy. This seems like the biggest game of its type yet.

Overall The Quarry is looking excellent so far. The Quarry is clearly aiming to be the biggest and the best of these big narrative games. There’s lots of replayability, lots of death possible, difficulty seems very high, the setting is good and is definitely more like Until Dawn which is the best of the Supermassive games… games. We still have some concerns mainly regarding the characters themselves and their interactions. They are teens alone in a camp with no rules. Will it be realistic? Will hey hold back? Will there be drama. Will The Quarry wuss out? We will have to see. Oh and no gravity defying unrealistic towels this time. No one believed that crap in Until Dawn. The developers ‘Supermassive Games’ have done an excellent job so far. We at X35 Earthwalker aren’t excited for this game but we will see what its got. Do not disappoint us! Now The Quarry may have many ways for teens to die but non of them would work on… the ‘Earth Walk!’

X35 Earthwalker MADiSON

MADiSON is a psychological horror game developed and published by Bloodious. MADiSON is said to be coming out the 24th of June 2022 on the Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One, PS5, PS4 and PC. We hear it will come to Nintendo as well but no exact date. MADiSON is out here trying to mess with the players head. We hope they can actually pull it off. X35 Earthwalker will be keeping these G-blogs quick. Let’s take a look.

MADiSON has a sort of simple premise. You play a dude named Luca. Luca wakes up locked in a dark room. Hands covered in blood. There’s a demon called MADiSON. It’s forcing Luca to continue a “gory ritual” which apparently started decades ago. Fun fact: A decade is 10 years. People learn things with X35 Earthwalker. The things Luca has to do are described as “abominable acts”. We have an idea of what abominable acts are. You gone find out.

X35 Earthwalker MADiSON

So the question of the game MADiSON is, “Can you finish the ceremony?” Well common sense says don’t do it but it wouldn’t be a horror game if the character didn’t do something stupid. Now this is good for a psychological horror. Messing with the players head is the goal. Normally psychological horrors don’t really have an enemy chasing you down but instead it’s all about making the player never want to move or go complete their objective. Too scared to get in room type horror. No cheap jumpscares. Will MADiSON follow that formula or try to do something different.

X35 Earthwalker MADiSON

We checked out some MADiSON gameplay and it’s what we expected for the most part. There’s darkness everywhere. Close spaces, tight corridors, dark doorways. Good lighting as well. Very good lighting. The typical horror game stuff is here as well. Sudden figures appearing suddenly with loud noise at times to scare players. MADiSON also has the take picture concept. So get that camera in handy and take lots of pictures… at your own peril. Don’t forget to develop your pictures too. We won’t say more for obvious reasons.

Overall, MADiSON seems like another big psychological game. Are we excited? No. Visage was also going to be the big psychological game and it didn’t bring us in. It wasn’t as difficult as we hoped either. Ignore all the reviews from those youtubers and streamers who played the demo. They aren’t credible. We hope MADiSON does well. They need to get real disturbing. The developers ‘Bloodious’ have done a good job so far. We at X35 Earthwalker will keep an eye out for this game. Now MADiSON may have a gore-y ceremony but it’s not disturbing enough for… the ‘Earth Walk!’

X35 Earthwalker Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout

Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout is an action Massively multiplayer online developed by ‘Mediatonic‘ and published by ‘Devolver Digital Games‘. Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout is said to be coming out the 21st of June 2022 on the Xbox Series X, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PS5. Fall Guys was at one point very popular. It’s popularity has gone down but many people still play and more are on the way. X35 Earthwalker has his thoughts. Let’s take a look.

Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout is the latest and best version of Fall Guys. You know… the game with the running, jumping, pushing, grabbing and off course… falling. Originally it was on the pc and ps4 we believe but that’s one of the reasons why it lost a lot of popularity to Among Us. Many gamers couldn’t play it. Xbox players again getting excluded is a problem. Well, no exclusion now. Xbox and Nintendo players are allowed in from their consoles. New players are arriving, which means popularity will rise again, especially with an announcement. We are interested to see what’s new.

X35 Earthwalker Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout

Now the question is, “What’s new in Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout?” Well there’s new games and obstacles. More customisation off course. Blast balls definitely looks like a more active and intense final round game. Off course the game will be enhanced and look better. So expect 4k and 60 frames. Especially the Xbox Series X. It’s nothing completely different. It’s just more of Fall Guys. We hope they ave new music. Music the keep the same active silly atmosphere.

X35 Earthwalker Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout

We checked out some Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout gameplay and it’s what we expected. It’s the same good game off course but more. There’s the new levels and obstacles and tons of customisation with better game performance and visuals. There isn’t all that much to talk about. It’s Fall Guys… but… welcome… It’s Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout. They have done the right thing by sticking to the Fall Guys formula but we hope something big and sort of new will also be brought in. It’s good to take some risks. We don’t want Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout be exactly the same.

Overall, Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout looks like another great game. Another fun game to play on the xbox casually. Nothing serious, just silly fun. We need more of that. The developers have done a good job with this. We at X35 Earthwalker will keep an eye out for this game. Now Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout may have new obstacles and stuff but none of that is enough for… the ‘Earth Walk!’

X35 Earthwalker Infernax

Infernax is an old school adventure platformer game. X35 Earthwalker himself has beaten this game twice with two different characters. We can straight of the boat say that Infernax is a very good game. Infernax is suppose to be like the old games. It’s suppose to remind gamers of the old days with those old games. Like NES games. They did a very good job of this. Infernax is successful.

If you wanted more information on Infernax and the plot then read our previous G-blog on this game. simply put you are the duke. Warrior duke who returns him to find that demons and evil is around. A specific book brought these evil things here. Many are dying and being slain all around the place. So yeah. Time to fight.

X35 Earthwalker Infernax

It’s definitely old school. Pixel graphics, little health, many enemies, experience points, side scrolling, bosses, areas and more. It felt good to play a completely different style of game from what we usually have in these days. This game also has more going on in it than you’d originally think. Multiple side quests and even some secrets. It’s not a simple mash a button game. Infernax has multiple endings as well. 8 we believe. Simply put there’s the good ending, pure good ending, evil ending, pure evil ending and then there’s 4 more extra endings, including one where you are evil but then turn good in the end. So the replayability is definitely here.

X35 Earthwalker Infernax

There’s many enemies in this game. Quite a lot. So much that there’s a whole catalog of them. It’s the demonology. It keeps track of how many of them you have killed. We definitely liked this as it also showed how many more enemies we haven’t encountered yet. Most enemies aren’t a problem in our opinion. This leads a to a problem in Infernax. Like those old games, Infernax is tough. There’s some difficulty to the game but not that much. We can think of many old games that are harder than Infernax. The only time we really lost lives was through instant death falls like pits or landing in the water. The water castle dungeon’s whole gimmick is water everywhere and you can get kicked into the water easily. Just like some old games. That’s not difficult. That’s just annoying. The game was too easy for us. So we was disappointed in that.

The upgrades and magic system was very good. We liked that when you acquired a new mace or armour you actually see it on your character. A colour change and the design. We appreciate that. Always good. Bigger games need a toggle feature for that. The magic is excellent. The magic actually matter in this game. Infernax did good with that. Magic for fast travel, changing the time from day to night and vice versa. Magic to summon birds to fight alongside you and gather coins. There’s magic to give you a projectile. There’s magic for full screen damaging thunder strike attack. We like and have used all the magic in the game. Very good job with the magic.

X35 Earthwalker Infernax

Now this is our last real complaint. Sure we hated the water castle level. Sure we wished there was more useful npcs and better social interactions. Our other complaint is the a bit funny but false warning/disclaimer. This thing lied to us. There’s no “saucy language”. There wasn’t “copius amounts of gore”. Worst of all… there was no “half clothed demon people of varying degrees of attractiveness.” The closest we got was the final boss who has breasts. That’s it. If you are going to give this much of a warning and attention… YOU BETTER DELIVER! We thought this game might be more extreme with the dialogues, the gore and the half naked demons but whatever.

Overall Infernax is a very good game. The combat is good. It’s definitely old school. Has some difficulty. Good variety of magic. An upgrade system and many bosses. All pretty much looking ugly and clearly demonic. We like that there’s different characters to play as. You have to unlock them. There’s a wizard who uses mana for his standard attack, which is a long beam with multi hit potential. There’s four that we know of in total. They wield different weapons too so give them a try. This is a short review so don’t expect much details here. Play it for yourself. X35 Earthwalker himself had a lot of fun.

X35 Earthwalker Moo Lander

Moo Lander is a 2D platformer game developed and published by ‘The Sixth Hammer‘. Moo Lander is said to be coming out the 27th of May 2022 on the Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One, PS5, PS4 and PC. We heard it’s also coming to Nintendo Switch. Moo Lander sounds very funny for sure. X35 Earthwalker is intrigued. Let’s take a look.

Moo Lander does sound silly but the story is sort of serious. Basically you are the last hero of a dying cosmic civilisation. You control a  lander. What’s the objective? You are after milk… We aren’t joking. In this universe, milk is the most important energy source in the universe. Milk can only be found on the ancient planet of the alien cows. You aren’t alone, you have your AI… hamilton. So go find that device. A device that is said to be able to produce infinite amounts of milk. That’s Moo Lander for you.

X35 Earthwalker Moo Lander

Fly around, dodge threats and projectiles in Moo Lander. Stay alive and fight back against the different enemies on this planet. The main problems are off course the cows. The big bad bosses are the cows. There’s apparently over 20 different types of cows. The cows also have an “advanced cow AI”. Each cow boss has it’s own attacks, patterns, special abilities and ways to deal with you. Fear the cow!

X35 Earthwalker Moo Lander

We checked out some Moo Lander gameplay and it’s mostly what we though it would be. Feels more like controlling a ufo, especially when attacking a land based enemy. You can unlock new abilities, gain new weapons and use camouflage modules. Best of all is that Moo Lander is but for co-op. All of you on one screen facing. There’s competitive mode too. As in Lander vs Lander and even Lander vs cows. ?You can control the cows to crush your friends. The fact that we have ancient cow planet with alien cows who will seriously kill you is funny. We won’t be milking cows anymore after this. Cows fighting back. They have had enough.

Overall, Moo Lander seems like a good game. It’s said to be hand crafted concerning the visuals. That off course is a lot of work. Gather and manage your milk. Conquer the cows, get some milk and go crazy with the abilities and weapons. The developers, have done a good job so far. We at X35 Earthwalker will have to hear what Moo Lander makes happen. Now Moo Lander may have super alien cows bu those things are just burgers for… the ‘Earth Walk!’

X35 Earthwalker Outward

Outward is a Role Playing Game developed by ‘Nine Dots studio‘ and published by ‘Prime Matter‘. Outward its said to be coming out the 17th of May 2022 on the Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S and PS5. Outward was already released in 2019 on previous generation consoles and stuff but seems like no one cared. Next Generation is it’s chance to do better. X35 Earthwalker will speak. Let’s take a look.

Outward set in the “dazzling yet deadly” world of Aurai. This world isn’t all safe and nice. Sure there are some nice views and beautiful sights but there be danger around this world. But more on that danger later. You are basically an adventurer. You are traversing and exploring these crazy lands. So head out on expeditions, complete missions (off course), make discoveries like dungeons and even reach cities. There’s quite a bit of exploring to do. So get to it.

X35 Earthwalker Outward

So basically you play as… well here’s what the website says, “You play an adventurer, traveler and explorer.” You’re an ordinary character. Nothing special, no chosen one, no super powers, you’re not a demi god or even a fully trained soldier. So no super strength for you. You have to rely on your mind. You’ll need to be smart and strategic in order to survive. Not just that, there’s also your basic needs like eating, drinking and even getting enough sleep. So yeah, take care of that. Outward be playing games there. We also heard that there’s a so called “ritualistic, step by step approach to spell casting.” We would like to see how this works.

X35 Earthwalker Outward

We checked out some Outward gameplay and it’s not what we expected for the most part. We definitely love that Outward has co-operative play and even better SPLIT SCREEN CO-OP. Feels good to yell that while typing. This means grab your friends, family or a complete stranger without their consent and go on an adventure together. You must watch out for the many enemies and creatures that come straight from a fantasy book but not as cool. There’s diseases to avoid. Infectious ones. Players must wield and use combat and also magic. Also, there’s said to be rivals.

Overall Outward seems like it can be a good game. We aren’t impresses at all yet. We need to see more of Outward. We like that the game has a form of constant auto save to make sure players are stuck with the actions and decisions they take or make. There’s what’s called, “Encounter dynamic defeat scenarios”. Interesting. The developers ‘Nine Dots studio’ have done an alright job so far. We need things to be more dynamic. We at X35 Earthwalker will have to wait and hear what this game accomplishes. Now Outward may have fantasy creatures and dungeons but they are too simple for… the ‘Earth Walk!’

X35 Earthwalker Deadcraft

Deadcraft is a zombie survival action game developed by ‘Marvelous‘ and published by ‘XSEED games‘. Deadcraft is said to be coming out the 19th of May 2022 on the Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PS5, PS4 and PC. Deadcraft is not trying to be another zombie game. It has interested us. X35 Earthwalker will have his say. Let’s take a look.

So here’s the run down of what’s happening Deadcraft. It’s a world that has been completely ruined by a deadly virus. You control a guy called Reid. He is half zombie. Now being half zombie comes with it’s challenges. People may not like you or trust you. This means you can’t just live with humans in a colony really. Your survival is one thing. Survival. You got to survive. In this ravaged world.

X35 Earthwalker Deadcraft

Now there’s multiple things you need too do to make that happen in Deadcraft. You can arm yourself, grab all kinds of weapons and get to work on all dangers that comes your way. You can also grow your own army of zombie followers. This alone is a very cool concept. It’s not just slay the zombies and it’s not just destroys the humans. You are in between the two. You can communicate and co-operate with the humans. This off course leads to visions, impacts and opportunities.

Remember we mentioned survival? Well. Yeah, they are taking that sort of seriously. Not as serious as Metal Gear Survive though. In Deadcraft, players need to get food and water. You will also need money too. So earn your living. We did mention that you can communicate and co-operate with humans. So survival does take some work. You can’t just sit there. You could always just take what you want by force.

X35 Earthwalker Deadcraft

Deadcraft takes things to another zombie level. You are half zombie, remember? This comes with abilities your own. They are quite comical. Some have to do with your messed up arm. There’s powers for sure. There’s also a crafting system too. You can build some real nonsense weapons and defence turrets etc. Watch the official trailer and you will see examples of that. This game has a Deadrising silliness but not as comical and silly. You can get creative, have fun and fight for your survival while keeping your brains.

We checked out some Deadcraft gameplay and it’s what we expected for the most part. It’s serious but goofy still. It’s destroying zombies and crushing humans. Running an army. Fighting with allies, crafting all kinds of stuff and being cool while doing it. Just look at the gameplay for yourself.

Overall, Deadcraft seems like a good game. It’s definitely doing something different and we like that. Half zombie dude with abilities, trying to survive in this messed up world. Deadcraft has what it takes to explode. Deadrising fans should like this. We definitely need to see more of this game though. We need to see more of the combat and other factors. The developers ‘Marvellous’ have done a good job so far. We at X35 Earthwalker will have to see what Deadcraft brings. Now Deadcraft may have a half zombie but that is not impressive when you compare it to… the ‘Earth Walk’

X35 Earthwalker Source of Madness

Source of Madness is an action rougelike game developed by ‘Carry Castle‘ and published by ‘Thunderful‘. Source of Darkness is said to be coming out the 11th of May 2022 on the Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PS5, PS4 and PC. Source of madness has got something going on here with it’s design approach. Looks different from others. X35 Earthwalker has his say. Let’s take a look.

Source of Madness is an action rougelike but it’s been described as a “side-scrolling dark action rougelite” game. Side scrolling is nothing weird so who cares but the dark action part is what should grab attention. Source of Madness definitely delivers with this. It’s a dark and horrifying world. Basically what’s happening is that you are a new acolyte and you head out on a nightmarish oddyssey. This is all set in a place called ‘Loam Lands’. This place is messed up. Like you wouldn’t want to live here, messed up. Yet here you are and expect darkness, evil and madness.

X35 Earthwalker Source of Madness

There’s so much madness in Source of Madness that there’s even a place in the Loam Lands, called the Tower of Madness. The mysterious citadel of the moon. Exploration is required and you need to brave the dangers. There’s so much dangers, ambushes and lots of monsters. They are designed to creep you out. Look disturbing, gross and like they will leave a cursed rash on you. Some described it a s lovecraftian inspired. Now check this out. Here’s the quote concerning the monsters, “The horrific monsters you face are never the same, concocted with procedural generation and animated using a neural network AI.” Think about that for a moment. If this is literal, that would be awesome and we would love to see how that works. This could be the big mechanic… if they get it right.

X35 Earthwalker Source of Madness

Source of Madness is all about exploring, staying alive, fighting dangerous creatures and off course finding gear. We mean equipment like rings, equipment, robes and armour like stuff. after all this is a magical world. Expect magical battles and attacks. It’s not your simple stand still casting spells. It’s movement, action and pressure from enemies coming after you. Take a look at some gameplay and you’ll see what we mean.

We checked out some Source of Madness gameplay and it”s not what we expected at first. Source of Madness definitely looks like a good game. Very different too. Something new. We do have some concerns though. The visuals just alright in our opinion. Not impressed. There is some form of communication with beings in the game. There’s mysteries to uncover and understand. What’s happening, how did this all start? Is there a way to fix things? Players will need to find out for themselves.

Overall, Source of Madness looks like it’s a good game. Looks like it’s setting itself apart from others. We like how the world is designed. It’s clearly fictional, loads of danger, magical and interesting. We like the style. We have some hope for this game. We do wonder about the weapons and variety available in Source of Madness. A game like this has to have brutal difficulty with an insulting mode for those who need it easier. They need to nail that new mechanic this game has. Do it right! The developers ‘Carry Castle’ have done a very good job so far. We at X35 Earthwalker will keep and eye out for this game. Now Source of Madness may have disturbing creatures but they don’t mean a thing to… the ‘Earth Walk!’

X35 Earthwalker Elden

Elden Ring is an excellent game for sure. There’s no questions about it. FromSoftware did a lot of things right and does them well. We like the very big world of Elden Ring. We like the variety off enemies and the numerous bosses for you top fight, sneak around, avoid and even outsmart. We like that some enemies have certain weaknesses that can, with knowledge, be exploited. We like the variety to the lands in between. There’s different temperatures, levels of greenery and more. Yet even with all of that and more, the game still isn’t perfect. Elden Ring has problems… but here’s it’s biggest problem. Let’s take a look.

Quite simply it’s the strength build. Or lack there of. The strength build sucks!!! We hate it and it’s running the game for us. X35 Earthwalker himself is losing interest in the game because of the strength build. We don’t want to hear from those ‘know it all losers’ who have over 200 hours, done everything, have two giant super swords, strength stat at 80+ and that one boss who everyone found hard, they beat in two hits. We ain’t trying to hear from you sad lot. There’s no real reason to being a strength build. We started of with the strength and beat numerous bosses including margit the fell omen, renalla girl of the full moon, tree sentinel the tree hugger and crucible knight the scumbag (including when the knight teamed up with that beast boss). We did it all with the strength build just so you know that we have experience and did go far with the build.

When you look at the mage builds they are the easiest baby difficult off course but they are the most fun and coolest. They have over powered broken spells like calling down a meteor shower like attack. A huge kamekameha like magic beam from dragon ball z. You can bring forth a ball of fire looking like the sun, like you’re escanor from seven deadly sins. There’s all kinds of crazy magic that it’s no longer Elden Ring… it’s Final Fantasy XIIII. Now look at dexterity. It’s fast, swings fast, has more than enough time to avoid hits even after hitting. Plus they loaded with bleed effects which does crazy damage. Get the samurai class and dual wield the uchigatana and you set for the longest time. What does strength have? Think about it.

When you think of a strength type characters, you imagine that they are very strong, can take hits and stand up to strong enemies. Instead you have slow swinging weapons and their recovery time with such weapons are slow too, meaning it’s easier for enemies to punish you. Poise doesn’t matter in this game unless you are like new game plus 7 or whatever. Bosses attacks still rock you regardless. You don’t do amazing damage and you still die in three swings. Strength is slower than the dexterity builds, easier to punish than dexterity and don’t have as awesome weapons as dexterity. Also since you are investing points in hp, strength and endurance, you won’t have enough points in faith or intelligence etc to use those cool and crazy incantations and spells. All the really cool weapons with interesting effects require extra stats you wouldn’t invest in. Strength is boring (as Saitama would say). The weapons except for end game stuff are boring, you have all the disadvantages, poise doesn’t help. Strength needs some love. Developers did not balance things at all. We going straight to renalla to change our build. We are done with strength!

You might think this isn’t a big deal but that’s because you aren’t thinking deep enough. We don’t blame you, no one is as intelligent and wise as us, let alone X35 Earthwalker himself. When you are a strength build from the start and make your way through the game, you learn that you are basically playing hard mode and simple. Mage is baby/easy, dexterity is medium while strength is hard to brutal. So you are having the hardest time. On top of that, the majority of cool/interesting/epic weapons aren’t for you. Do you know how many times we find a new weapon or whatever, just to check it out and see that we can’t use it. We don’t get excited when a weapon shows up anymore. What’s this? A flaming super sword once wielded by the gods themselves? Can’t use it! X35 Earthwalker was stuck with the starting weapon for a very long time. Can’t use cool spells either. You get bored. Fighting bosses get boring too. The boss does its combo. You dodge everything, if possible, then there’s an opening so you swing once… ONCE. Then you have to back off or start rolling again. Why? Because if you take a second slow swing the boss would hit you before you have time to roll. That’s why. It’s dodge, dodge, dodge, dodge, swing, then dodge, dodge, dodge, dodge and swing again. That’s not really fun. It’s getting boring.

Overall Elden Ring off course as said before is an excellent game. This is the biggest issue with the game in our opinion. It’s definitely negatively impacted our experience. Positive experience overall for sure. Enjoying the game but lately this big problem has slowed us down. Now Elden Ring may have strength classes but they are too pathetic for… the ‘Earth Walk!’

Thank you for reading our content. If you would like to support X35 Earthwalker then head to our ‘Support Us’ page. Alright? Good. Dismissed!

X35 Earthwalker Ravenous Devils

Ravenous Devils is a horror simulation game developed and published by ‘Bad Vices Games‘. Ravenous Devils is said to be coming out April 29th 2022 on the Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PS5, PS4 and PC. Ravenous Devils is definitely getting real raw with the concept. This game isn’t for squeamish people. X35 Earthwalker has warned you. Let’s take a look.

Ravenous Devils is unique right of the goat. Here’s the story basically. Players control two characters: Percival and Hildred. They are business partners who set up a tailor shop and restaurant like joint. It’s in a horrible city. It’s described as “city where crime, corruption and poverty are commonplace”. So many here are scum… just like Percival and Hildred. You see this business isn’t normal.

X35 Earthwalker Ravenous Devils

The tailor shop is a front. You don’t care about the customers. They come, you get them clothes but then kill them. Then take their clothes, then dump their bodies in the shoot leading to the kitchen. From there, you use the bodies as ingredients make meals for hungry customers. Yep. That’s the business. You are killing customers to make food to feed other customers. It’s all about money. What a messed up world this game has created. Ravenous Devils is doing something different here. They are trying to stand out completely. The ones we know who surpass these evil lot are the companies and businessmen and women in Oddworld. Abe’s oddysee. Look at Rupture farms. The soul storm brewery, the bonewerks etc etc. This tailor/kitchen/restaurant business in Ravenous Devils is close.

X35 Earthwalker Ravenous Devils

We checked out some Ravenous Devils gameplay and it’s sort of what we expected. You switch control between the two characters: Percival and Hildred. There is some tactics to this game off course. You can run out of ingredients for your meals, so players need to manage their resources. Also murdering your customers isn’t as easy as it seems. We might be wrong here but players will need to actually be strategic about it. You must choose when to kill them. Can you fail and get harmed yourself. This game isn’t trying to be family friendly. You literally throw a body into a grinder and start turning the handle to make some prepared meat. So yeah, if you are squirmish, then prepare yourself.

Overall Ravenous Devils seems like an alright game. It’s like it’s set in The Sims universe but a bad part of the world where it’s basically lawless and crime is the hobby. Ravenous Devils has a nice, but evil, atmosphere and you don’t feel too bad as many people in that city is bad anyways. The voice acting is excellent. There is an upgrade system for your shop. There’s quite a mission here. The developers ‘Bad Vices Games’ have done an alright job so far. We at X35 Earthwalker will have to listen out for news concerning this game. If you want to support X35 Earthwalker then just head to our ‘support us‘ page. Now Ravenous Devils may have ruthless evil business but it’s something easily cleansed by… the ‘Earth Walk!’
