PAC-MAN WORLD Re-PAC is a action adventure game developed by ‘Now Production‘ and published by ‘Bandai Namco‘. PAC-MAN WORLD Re-PAC is said to be coming out the 26th of August 2022 on the Xbox Series X, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PS5 and PC. X35 Earthwalker likes the majority of Pac-Man games. Let’s take a look.
PAC-MAN WORLD Re-PAC. In this world, Pac-man himself returns home, on his birthday, to learn that the ghosts have kidnapped Pac-man’s family and friends. This off course ruined the birthday party. So basically we now have to rescue Pac-man’s loved ones and beat those ghosts up. That’s the story… so get to it.
Pac-man heads out on this big adventure. The detonation is Ghost island. Pac-man needs to explore the six areas here. Now off course this is a remake of Pac-man world. So expect improved graphics, visuals, controls, sounds and more. Off course the main villains the boss of the ghosts. The scumbag known as Toc-man. So yep. It’s Pac-man vs Toc-man.
We checked out some PAC-MAN WORLD Re-PAC gameplay and it’s mostly what we expected. There’s multiple bosses, those ghosts are an annoying and there’s even car racing. There’s classic pac-man mechanic like like get the pellets but there’s also platforming gameplay as well. Become a giant pac-man head and start munching down.
Overall PAC-MAN WORLD Re-PAC just seems like a good fun game. Something that almost all Pac-man fans can get behind. Gamers always like to see a remake of an old game they truly enjoyed many years ago. PAC-MAN WORLD Re-PAC looks like it has been done well. The developers ‘Now Production’ have done a very good job. We at X35 Earthwalker hope this game does it’s job. Now PAC-MAN WORLD Re-PAC may have Toc-man but he’s too pathetic for…the ‘Earth Walk!’
SD Gundam Battle Alliance is an action role playing game developed by ‘ARTDINK‘ and published by ‘Bandai Namco Entertainment‘. SD Gundam Battle Alliance is said to be coming out the 25th of August 2022 on the Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PS5, PS4 and PC. SD Gundam Battle Alliance is looking sort of serious. X35 Earthwalker is here. Let’s take a look.
SD Gundam Battle Alliance takes place in a strange place called G: Universe. It’s a world where the Gundam canon story has been completely distorted. It’s not correct. So you need correct this distorted time line. How do you doo that? By fighting off course. What else is there?
Listen to this. They say you can “develop new Mobile Suits to add to your arsenal. Gather Capital and expansion parts to transform your favo(u)rite machine into the ultimate MS.” There’s Also co-op as well. After all you roll in a team of three. If you ain’t got no friends for whatever reason, you can play with bots.
We checked out some SD Gundam Battle Alliance gameplay and it’s not what we expected at first. It went for the miniature cutesy toy style for design. They are all short and look like toys fighting. The combat definitely looks like it flows. Smoothly too.
Overall SD Gundam Battle Alliance looks like it’s going to bee pure action. Those who are fans of the Gundam world and lore, will definitely enjoy this. Maybe not the style though. Let’s see how big this game is and else they got too offer. In time. We at X35 Earthwalker aren’t Gundam people but we check tings out still. The developers ‘ARTDINK’ have done a good job soo far. Now SD Gundam Battle Alliance may have a distorted history but it would instantly be fixed by… the ‘Earth Walk!’
The Bonfire: Forsaken Lands is a strategy survival game developed and published by ‘Xigma‘. The Bonfire: Forsaken Lands is said to be coming out the 19th of august on the Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S and Xbox One. It’s already out on pc and mac but off course never heard of it on those platforms. X35 Earthwalker will do a quick examination. Let’s take a look.
The Bonfire: Forsaken Lands drops players in a scenario where you have a small settlement. You obviously need to build and expand. This won’t be easy as there are dangers for sure. Things that can straight up kill you like raids from monsters. It’s about survival. Build, get resources, manage them well, make decisions or not. It’s up to you.
Decisions off course need to be made in The Bonfire: Forsaken Lands. Each decision is said to impact the survival of your people. For example money, would you rather get more farmers or more guards? If you have more farmers then that means more food for the people but if you have more guards then there’s better security and more safety for your people. So yeah, decide.
We checked out some The Bonfire: Forsaken Lands gameplay and it’s sort of what we expected. Reminds us of another game with a somewhat similar style. Over time you can tech up as in upgrade what you have. Eventually you can get your hands on more advanced crafting options, get more advance buildings and even trade with others. It’s a simple game, with somewhat simple style.
Overall The Bonfire: Forsaken Lands just seems like a casual game where you can chill and see clear progression. We see the strengths of The Bonfire: Forsaken Lands but also its weaknesses. This game needs to be deeper and have more going on to get our attention. We hear that there’s secrets of the ancients but still… not for us. The developers ‘Sigma games’ have done an alright job. We at X35 Earthwalker will have to hear what players concerning this game. Now The Bonfire: Forsaken Lands may have a bonfire but it’s too small for… the ‘Earth Walk!’
Raji: An Ancient Epic is an action adventure that we at X35 Earthwalker had a good time with. This game is excellent. Right off the bat we will say that. Raji: An Ancient Epic was developed by ‘Nodding Heads games‘ and published by ‘Super‘. For the X35 record (which is superior to everyone else’s record), we want everyone to know we have played and beaten both the original and Enhanced Edition of Raji: An Ancient Epic. Here”s our quick thoughts. Let’s take a look.
Not only have we completely Raji: An Ancient Epic with style but we also got every Xbox achievement for the game too. So X35 Earthwalker is well versed in this game. First of all Raji: An Ancient Epic is definitely a journey game. More relaxing and chill than serious. That sort off changed with Enhanced Edition. Bit more on that latter. There’s no other game that gave an experience like Raji: An Ancient Epic. It’s certainly unique. X35 Earthwalker would recommend that gammers try this game at least once. It’s not the best game or the greatest but it’s certainly special. The simple of story of a big sister who just wants to save her brother turns into a battle to save the whole world as she realises that there’s much more going on bigger than her and her brother. We really do understand the whole big sister, little brother and how they just have each other.
We enjoyed the hindu mythology that’s at the centre of this game. The website claims it’s a blend of hindu and balinese but one is clearly more identifiable and big than the other in Raji: An Ancient Epic. We like those story walls that gave some quick information on these mythological figures like shiva and durga for example. We don’t know exactly how accurate Raji: An Ancient Epic is with the hindu mythology especially where it said that both shiva and durga are half of another being who they came from. Hindu mythology has so much disagreement and questions and stuff that just doesn’t make sense. We see this online between hindus who don’t agree. Regardless it was nice and interesting to learn. Still hate brauma though as he started all this. He gave a demon eternal life and a god slaying weapon… what could possibly go wrong.
Let’s quickly explain the original vs Enhanced Edition. Enhanced Edition added new things. There’s a new game mode, there’s Hindi voice option for the dialogues. There’s new enemies as in stronger variants of the original enemies. Some like the standard big demon with the club now has new moves altogether. They are more aggressive. There’s a bigger version of it that can send out spiritual versions of itself to attack you. Those annoying monkey like demons are harder to interrupt, they can juggle you in groups, more aggressive, have an actual pounce attack and have a big brother version of them which attacks with a sword tail. The enemies are overall stronger and harder to beat. More enemies show up and at times can be a bit unfair. Enhance Edition made us have to sit ups a few times when fighting instead of just leaning back and relaxing. By the way. The gameplay above is of the Enhanced Edition. The ones below are of the original game.
Raji: An Ancient Epic Enhanced Edition is the time to try this game. The game now looks even better. They fixed Raji’s face and she looks so much better now. It’s harder, more modes, additional options and actually poses a challenge now. We still like the look of but hate those stupid fish guardians who try to eat your platforms. We liked the giant flying peacock and it did look impressive in the skies above. The city hiranya nagari is still the best level in the game. Such a beautiful area. There’s lots to see and experience Raji: An Ancient Epic. When you go through the levels, you should try to look around. One, you get too see all this game has going on and two, you can find the favour of the gods to improve your fighting capabilities.
We did notice this negative. Some of the abilities you can get through using your favour orbs from the gods that you find don’t work properly or at all. The lightning that’s suppose to strike from above… we don”t see it. We actually ended up ignoring that ability completely. The freeze enemies as you continue to hit them isn’t effective enough from our experience. The fire abilities all work but it;”s the lightning and ice that has one that isn’t effective or doesn’t work.
Last major upgrade to Raji: An Ancient Epic from the Enhanced Edition is the bosses all got tuned up. They are all stronger and harder. The naga as in that giant snake was cool but he now sprays venom to attack you if he knows you are hiding behind that structure. He didn’t. The first big demon boss has these long chains with flames to hit you and he chases you down which is a complete upgrade from the original boss. Rangda seems the same but her attacks might be faster and more relentless in tracking you. She is so disturbing being a incredibly old demon lady with claw nails and sausage, banana dangling breasts. You can’t get her horrible image out of your head. The big boss mahabalasura is also stronger. Has new attacks, more active and will catch players off guard. He will rush you down.
Overall, Raji: An Ancient Epic especially Enhanced Edition is an excellent game. We seriously enjoyed it. It’s colourful, beautiful to look at and has amazing environments that you want to explore. It’s also simple. We haven’t seen a place like the city hiranya nagari in any game to this day. It’s worth playing for sure. Now remember that this G-blog isn’t a full review, just a quick thing about it. There’s way more and so much more to talk about in detail and say but we will leave it here. An easy 9/10 from X35 Earthwalker. Raji: An Ancient Epic may have gods and demons but they are all a complete joke compare too… the ‘Earth Walk!’
Sea of Thieves is getting it’s season 7 on the August the 4th 2022. For many fans this is a big thing indeed. It’s being developed but ‘Rare‘ and published by ‘Microsoft Studios‘. Sea of Thieves is an Xbox exclusive being available for Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One and PC. We are keeping this G-blog quick and short. Check this out.
Many like angry joe hated on sea of thieves because they are just ignorant. Sea of Thieves made it clear of what it would be like at release and what is to come in the future. Yet people are so dumb and act like they were scammed. Sea of Theives since then has been adding more and more stuff over time as they said they would. Sea of Thieves is now being enjoyed by many many many players.
Now the season 7 which was announced earlier has some you could call game changing updates. Some we feel should have been there away earlier. You can name your own ship. This should have been a day one thing. Being a pirate captain means you would have a name for your ship. The whole point of Sea of Thieves is to be a pirate. Next you can have custom ship load outs. This just makes things easier and you can access this at shipwright shops.
Players can now also customise the captains cabin. So hang up the wall art, put some shiny trash or whatever trinkets and bobs on the shelves, as a display. Now off course there are more forms of customisation. We hope to see some of that. Hopefully players can have a shark mounted on their wall… if you can kill one.
Players can also have a captains log which is realistic for pirates as you can document your travels, journeys and adventures. Hopefully it has a cartoony and silly version of a captains log. Players will also be able to sell loot more easily to the sovereigns. Making simple actions easier for players is normally a good thing. Makes things less annoying.
Lastly we hear there will be different playstyles. What does this mean? Well it could have something to do with pvp and pve. Maybe cross platform multiplayer. Maybe it has something to do with difficulty or factors that effect features like respawning. Maybe there’s a one life mode, where if you die, then your legacy is over and you start a new legend.
Overall we are happy to see more updates and things coming to Sea of Thieves. There’s is definitely much more that needs to be added. There’s so much room for creativity in Sea of Thieves. The developers ‘Rare’ have done a very good job so far. We at X35 Earthwalker will have to just see exactly how all this will come into play. Now Sea of Thieves may have a season 7 but it’s many seasons behind… the ‘Earth Walk!’
Path of Titans is a Massive multiplayer online dinosaur survival game developed and published by ‘Alderon games‘. It’s said to be coming out the 27th of July on the on consoles Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One, PS5 and PS4. It was already out on pc, linux, Android and ios. The pattern of only hearing about a game when it comes to consoles, continues. X35 Earthwalker is a palaeontologist. So dinosaurs is kind of his thing. Let’s take a look.
Just think about it. A giant multiplayer world where everything is a dinosaur. Someone is a carnivore and they are coming right for you. Sounds cool. So basically what Path of Titans presents is a dinosaur ecosystem. It’s filled with AI organisms of course but other players also… up to 200 other players! That’s kind of crazy. Only kind of.
It’s a survival game so expect something to try and eat you. Ark: Survival evolved taught gamers that when you see a carnivore dinosaur who’s bigger than you, it’s best to run. Players will need to survive. So hunt down prey and eat up. Maybe find plants that are edible. Of course find water as well.
We checked out some Path of Titans gameplay and it’s what we expected. The combat, sadly is slower than we expected. The needs to speed up for sure to make combat more exciting. There’s these quests that you can completed to gain points, which you can use to improve your creature… or get new skins… or even better get a new dinosaur. So there’s some progression in the game.
Overall Path of Titans does seem like a nice game. We like that it’s all dinosaurs. The survival aspects are mostly realistic. We hope there are things in place to help console players (gamers) to catch up to pc players. Something to even things out. We hope there is more to do in the game then just survive and those quests. Path of Titans wasn’t described as a simulation game. The developers ‘Alderon Games’ have done a good job so far. X35 Earthwalker will wait until the receive-sation of more in-game information. Now Path of Titans may have some serious wildlife but it’s too barren for… the ‘Earth Walk!’
Aliens: Fireteam Elite – Season 4: Prestige is the new update for the game. The developers ‘Cold Iron studios‘ and the publishers are ‘Focus Entertainment‘. This update is said to be coming out the 26th of July 2022 on all the usual platforms, so Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One, PS5, PS4 and PC. We at X35 Earthwalker definitely want more to be brought to Aliens: Fireteam Elite. Let’s take a look.
Aliens: Fireteam Elite is a very good co-op shooter game. It’s very difficult game but gets ridiculously difficult on those higher difficulties. As in unfair hard. There’s lots of action and lots of Xenomorphs. Now Aliens: Fireteam Elite will become Aliens: Fireteam Elite – Season 4: Prestige.
Aliens: Fireteam Elite – Season 4: Prestige has a whole new game mode called ‘Restock Turrets’. So basically you have to defend against a horde of Xenomorphs (what else is new?)… but by using turrets. You have to keep these turrets stocked up. This could easily be a good game mode bringing that zombie horde feeling to some extent. it depends on how they build it and a few variables.
There are four new weapons. Disappointing that there’s only four. Two of them are shotguns, another is an automatic sniper rifle and the last is a launcher. One of the original shotguns are trash while the other can be useful. So these two new shotguns: Hand Gun: DKT-59 Misha and Heavy: P.649 HEL are most welcome. They better not suck. One’s like a pistol shotgun while the other is double shot shotgun. The automatic sniper rifle is the SVAT-92 Sokol. An automatic sniper rifle: SVAT-92 Sokol doesn’t suit the style of the game as much… unless it’s rate of fire and power are good enough. The launcher is the P.649 HEL. It’s more like a powerful energy laser weapon. Charged shots too.
Lastly there’s the new prestige system… ranking system. Well now your experience points aren’t unless once you reach max level. Now they progress prestige. Do this to unlock new name plates and more. Every 10 prestige levels gets you gun colours, emotes, outfits, decals and accessories. So yeah, go level up. Oh and by the way Aliens: Fireteam Elite – Season 4: Prestige will now become cross platform. So more people are available and, easier to find partners for multiplayer.
We checked out some Aliens: Fireteam Elite – Season 4: Prestige gameplay. It’s what we expected. It’s still Aliens: Fireteam Elite. Just with a few more things. Too little if you ask us but it’s still more. Trying out these weapons and experimenting with them will be the main event for us most likely. Second would be the new game mode.
Overall Aliens: Fireteam Elite – Season 4: Prestige looks like a nice update. We at X35 Earthwalker will just have two see what’s happening. Now Aliens: Fireteam Elite – Season 4: Prestige may have an update but it’s far too small for… the ‘Earth Walk!’
The Sims 4: High School Years is a new expansion pack for the Sims 4 universe developed by ‘Maxis Studios‘ and published by ‘Electronic Arts‘. The Sims 4: High School Years is said to be coming out the 28th of July 2022 on Xbox Series X, PS4 and PC. Sims is a big, big game. It’s getting bigger. X35 Earthwalker knows the Sims very well. Let’s take a look.
If you don’t know what the sims are by now then you aren’t a gamer. You are an 11 year old raging while playing Fortnite. Fortnite is a great game by the way. X35 Earthwalker plays Fortnite Zero build. The Sims is one of the biggest games in terms of its content. The Sims 4 just keeps getting bigger and bigger and there’s no stopping it. There’s already a horror expansion where you can be a vampire or something. Now we are going back to prom days.
Its high school years so you know what that means. Time for all the wild times, fights, dumb stunts, bullies, hot girls, jocks, homework and more. No musical and spontaneously bursting out in synchronised song and dance. Not sorry. So we do know that in The Sims 4: High School years you can attend classes, build sociable relationships with your teachers, chill in the cafeteria and even hang out/loitering after school. Even specific things like your locker can be decorated.
There’s more. The Sims 4: High School Years has prom off course. Dance all night really. You can have a crush and attempt to ask them out. Make friends for a lifetime… maybe. After school activities are a thing. Read this whole description, “Make your bedroom your own, plan outfits with clothes designed by Depop sellers, and become a Simfluencer. Teen Sims can earn money by selling outfits and hyping up looks they design on Trendi right from their bedrooms, which are now more interactive than ever. Use a laptop, read a book in bed, or even have a pillow fight!” That’s deep for The Sims. A lot of stuff is happening here.
We checked out some The Sims 4: High School Years gameplay and it’s more than we expected. It’s deeper and more complex. There is the impression that there’s more mechanics than just click to go here and select an option. It’s like your sims will develop their own likes and dislikes as they go. Sort of like being a teen again and learning more things concerning yourself. You can even sneak out of home when it’s night time but there’s risks like how bad things can happen at night. Maybe your parents will get mad at you if caught. You can skip class too and risk being caught by the principle.
Overall The Sims 4: High School Years is not what we expected. You can even make your Sim become a streamer. You can turn your bedroom into a streaming studio. Get a gamer chair, wireless speakers and even acquire LED panels. so yeah, there’s a lot going on for sure. The developers ‘Maxis studios’ have done a fantastic job with this expansion. X35 Earthwalker will have to see if it’s as deep as they are portraying into be. Now The Sims 4: High School Years may have wild days in store but they are too calm for… the ‘Earth Walk!’
Forza Horizon 5: Hot Wheels is a racing game off course and it’s being developed by ‘Playground Games‘ and published by ‘Xbox Game Studios‘. Forza Horizon 5: Hot Wheels is said to be coming out July 19th 2022 on the Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One and PC. An Xbox exclusive off course. This is an awesome upgrade for the game. X35 Earthwalker will speak. Let’s take a look.
Forza Horizon 5: Hot Wheels is what you’d expect from the game title. Imagine Forza Horizon 5, which is a fantastic and phenomenal game (better than anything PS5 has right now. Don’t get mad), and combine it with Hot Wheels. What do you get? The beautiful big world of Forza Horizon 5 with it’s ranger cars + the tracks and race course designs of Hot wheels. Yes, that’s right. You love to see it. YES, YOU DO!!
Yes, it’s that simple. Forza Horizon 5 with Hot Wheels tracks. Big orange stretching roads. This just simply adds a new dimension to this already excellent game. Forza Horizon 5 has some of the most beautiful and best graphics in all of gaming. Massive area of Mexico to explore. Mountains, rocky areas, ancient ruins, forests, water, beach, city and a bit more. Now all these become literal backgrounds for viewing as you race high above the area. These Hot Wheel tracks, well most of them are really high up and you can see everything Forza Horizon 5 has to offer. It’s going to be phenomenal.
We checked out some Forza Horizon 5: Hot Wheels gameplay and it’s what we expected. Big long stretches of Hot Wheels roads. High up in the sky, giving that beautiful view. There’s also Hot Wheels like hazards like lava beneath you. There’s also gravity defying loops and hills. There’s even speed boost pads/strips on the ground to give your vehicle that much needed speed boost. So yeah, slightly new mechanics. It also seems like some parts of the map have been tweaked or changed to fit this new design. We do hope they add way more actual hazards too. Then have settings to manage this.
Overall Forza Horizon 5: Hot Wheels looks like it’s going to be absolutely fantastic. We have said a lot already. The developers ‘Playground Games’ have done an excellent job so far. We at X35 Earthwalker look forward to seeing what else this game will bring. Now Forza Horizon 5: Hot Wheels may have a brilliant and simple idea but it’s still inferior to the ideas of… the ‘Earth Walk!’
Severed Steel is a First Person Shooter game developed by ‘Greylock Studio‘ and published by ‘Digerati‘. Severed Steel is said to be coming out the 22nd of September 2022 on the Xbox Series X, 21st on Nintendo Switch and 20th for PlayStation. It came out 2021 on PC but it seems like no one cared. X35 Earthwalker has already noticed some specific things about Severed Steel. Let’s take a look.
In Severed Steel you play as… Steel. Steel is described as nimble. Just watch her move and you’ll see that nimble isn’t the word for it. This girl got almost all the movement needed. She out here running along walls and sliding around. She’s also only got one arm. So yeah, that’s quite the disadvantage but don’t give up on her yet. Steel does make up for a missing arm with a useful attachment. Very useful attachment. So go out there and shoot the enemies.
Now just by looking at Severed Steel, experienced players should already notice certain, familiar mechanics. Severed Steel feels like a combination, to some extent, of Super Hot, Titanfall 2 and Vanquish. The sliding around but most importantly the bullet time. There’s a lot of bullet time. Opportunities for lining up your shots and taking in the situation. You are also running along walls for that extra mobility. So rush an enemy, go along the wall and get behind them, then slide past with bullet time to end them with style. We like this as we need games of different types. An action focused more casual shooter game is respected and needed. Good job.
We checked out some Severed Steel gameplay and it’s mostly what we expected. Did we forget to mention that you can interact with the environment and even destroy it? Well we didn’t forget. The environment is destructible. You can even throw objects at your enemies to give you the advantage. With your arm cannon you can truly blast away the competition. We like the abundance of mobility. There’s even flips and dives in Severed Steel. There’s a variety of weapons from regular firearms to shotguns and even explosive weapons like a grenade launcher. Get to it.
Overall Severed Steel looks alright so far. Severed Steel isn’t a big story adventure. Nope. It’s just straight action with lots of bullet time, mobility, gunning and different weapons. We would like more information concerning the difficulty of the game and the enemies. The enemies have been described as “dynamic, unscripted, squad-based AI”. We don’t trust that right now. The developers ‘Greylock Studios’ have done a alright job so far. We at X35 Earthwalker need to see more. Now Severed Steel may have lots of action but it’s not big enough for the ‘Earth Walk!’
