Gaming has been ruined. Yep. So beware. This isn’t going to be a long one but it’s a G Blog regardless. X35 Earthwalker is the smartest and wiser gamer of all time. He doesn’t even need to use a fraction of his intelligence to notice this. Let’s take a look.
Many peopler have made videos on this or a similar topic. Gaming use to be so simple. You just had a console to play the games that you enjoy. Some consoles had exclusives and you bought which ever one had the ones you wanted or cared about. That was all. You played games after school, before bed or all day. Whatever.
Things like reviews weren’t really a thing that anyone cared about. X35 Earthwalker himself never cared about game reviews. Don’t think he ever read one either. All X35 did was check out the from cover and then read the back. Check it if has local co-op that kind of stuff and then bought it or not. Simple. You played the game and had fun. The purpose of games is entertainment. Simple. A bad game could still entertain you and give you good times.
Now we are in a world where too many stupid people care about reviews made by low iq reviewers. Groups like ign, kotaku and people like angry joe are some of the worst and they help ruin gaming. They are obviously biased, one sided and it shows. More and more people are finally learning the truth and seeing for themselves. Groups and people out here are clearing bought and paid by PlayStation. They showed their bias when the next gen consoles Xbox Series X and PS5 came out and they did comparisons.
The biggest example yet was them speaking overwhelmingly positive about Spider-bug 2… sorry we meant Spider-man 2. Hundred of trash reviews and not one of them mentioned the bugs in the game. Even a hardcore playstation fanboy who calls himself lucas (claims he’s amazing) even called them out for this and called it disgusting. Those reviewers covered for Spider-bug 2. Said nothing bad about it basically and gave it 10/10 and high 9s. We did a podcast episode talking about this and more.
But when it came to Starfield which is doing incredibly well, was attacked heavily. Many posts and tweets all negative about it. Every bug (Many caused by mods) was brought up, exaggerated and front & centered. This was called out and shamed. Of course the people whose side this all favoured… the playstation fanboys… defend it and love to see this stuff. ign even declared that quantum error, which is a huge failure and laughing stock on the internet as even a playstation fanboy youtuber refused to review it as they will have nothing positive to say about it. They score quantum error higher than the latest Call of Duty campaign.
Notice how Call of Duty is now getting attacked so severely and unfairly now that it belongs to Xbox. Things are just console wars online all the time. Sad individuals who want to see entire games and projects fail. So eager to make posts declaring w’s and l’s. Laughing and cheering when a game fails even when lots of hard work went into it. This is what gaming has become now. You get more likes and views for being negative than positive. Bashing games gets you more viral. Negativity rules. What a sad state for gaming. Can’t trust the internet, can;’t trust reviewers, can’t trust the fanboys, can’t trust the met scores, can’t trust the awards. Wow.
What’s the final verdict? You can’t trust the lying game media and outlets, especially when it comes to Xbox exclusives. They will attack everything. Never be fair and do it all to defend Playstation. Just look at the pathetic game awards. Only the ignorant and foolish care about the awards but even this sham exposed the bias. Starfield got basically no nominations and hogwarts got literally no nominations. Rigged and fake crap. Gaming is ruined and you can’t trust these guys. X35 Earthwalker can be trusted though. Now idiots like ign and angry Joe can’t be trusted but what can be trusted is… the ‘Earth Walk!’
Flashback 2 is an action platform shooter game developed and published by ‘Microbe‘. Flashback 2 is said to be coming out the 16th of November 2023 on the Xbox Series X, Xbox One, PS5, PS4 and pc. X35 Earthwalker has never heard of this or the first gamer before. Flashback 2 is aiming to make a big show off. Let’s take a look.
Flashback 2 is set in the future. The 22nd century. The solar system is quite peaceful. The united worlds are all across it. The peace of course is ruined by the Morph invasion. General Lazarus is behind this invasion. Our main guy Conrad B. Hart is getting back into the action. His main focus is finding his lifelong friend Ian. Conrad will be working with his allies and an AI powered weapon called A.I.S.H.A. Your enemy? The Morphs.
Definitely looks like a lot is going on here. Of course we are most interested in the combat. It’s a full on battle for survival. The maps and locations are proper 3D and have room for exploration. What’s even better is that it’s not just facilities and buildings. There’s the environment and outside world too. We got a whole jungle area and it looks very good.
We checked out some Flashback 2 gameplay and it’s not exactly what we expected. The enemies aren’t playing around. The technology is definitely futuristic. The shields you can deploy to protect yourself. The projectiles the weapons fire looking like blaster lasers. Were hope Flashback 2 does get kind of crazy. They keep saying it’s been 30 years but it’s actually 31 years. Strange.
Overall Flashback 2 looks like a very good game. Visually things are good. The details are very good too. The focus is there. The Morphs don’t seem that intimidating which is disappointing. They better be a major threat. We also hope that Flashback 2 makes use of the whole invasion by Morphs thing. It needs to be visually clear and used effectively. The developers ‘Microids’ have done a very good job so far. We at X35 Earthwalker will have to hear how gamers deal with this. Now Flashback 2 may have waited a very long time but it’s incredibly short from the perspective of… the ‘Earth Walk!’
Tales of Arise: Beyond the Dawn is a new expansion developed and published by ‘Bandai Namco‘. Tales of Arise: Beyond the Dawn is said to be coming out the 9th of November 2023 on the Xbox Series X, Xbox One, PS5, PS4 and pc. X35 Earthwalker will see what this is all about. Now Tales of Arise: Beyond the Dawn is looking like a big expansion. Quick note; X35 Earthwalker will be making G blogs smaller from now on. Let’s take a look.
Tales of Arise in case you didn’t know has been described as this, “On the planet Dahna, reverence has always been given to Rena, the planet in the sky, as a land of the righteous and divine. Stories handed down for generations became truth and masked reality for the people of Dahna. For 300 years, Rena has ruled over Dahna, pillaging the planet of its resources and stripping people of their dignity and freedom. Our tale begins with two people, born on different worlds, each looking to change their fate and create a new future”. This does remind us of another storyline from a game we played in the past. Tales of Arise is easy to understand. Good grounds for a good story.
Tales of Arise: Beyond the Dawn is bringing in new characters, some additions and changes to combat and even the mechanics. Beyond the Dawn is the next chapter. This next chapter takes place one year after Tales of Arise. From what we hear, Alphen and his crew encounter a girl whose name is Nazamil. she is the daughter of Dahnan and Renan lord. Nothing strange or unique about that… right? The crew are going to help her out. Something to do with the curse of the mask. You could as someone who has experience with masks like Link.
Tales of Arise: Beyond the Dawn is a big expansion for sure. Beyond the Dawn is said to be around 20 hours of content. There;’s also more dungeons and off course more bosses. That’s the most exciting part for us. If it isn’t obvious, there are more quests as well. You love to see it. YES, YOU, DO!!!
Overall this expansion “Beyond the Dawn” is looking good. Brings not a few but a whole bunch of things. Never waste gamers time and get us excited for a small expansion and little things. Especially in series they care about. Get us excited and then deliver with the good stuff. The developers ‘Bandai Namco’ have done a great job with this one. We at X35 Earthwalker will have to see how gamers receive this expansion. Now Tales of Arise: Beyond the Dawn may be a big expansion, it’s still small compared to… the ‘Earth Walk!’
Starfield needs no introduction. This massive Role Playing Game was developed and published by ‘Bethesda’. Starfield is a Xbox exclusive. Starfield is truly an adventure in the future and space. X35 Earthwalker can confirm that Starfield is an excellent game. There is so much to do in this game. Players easily have over 100 hours in this game and it’s probably one of the easiest games to get over 100 hours in. Starfield is massive in more than one way. Let’s take a look.
Starfield is massive as in a massive success. So much of a success that in September, Starfield was the best selling game in the US. What makes this more impressive is that Starfield is on the Xbox Game pass. This is even more impressive as angry playstation fanboys attacked the game online, swarmed stores like steam with negative reviews to try and bring down its score all because things aren’t going well for playstation and their only game spider-Man 2. Listen to the X35 Earthwalker podcast episode on this matter. Even gaming media outlets and groups like ign are super biased and attack anything Xbox but glorify playstation. The hate for Starfield is so great that when it out performed Spider-man 2 and got more positive attention than it that playstation fanboys finished their exclusive game in 9 hours and went straight back to X (formerly known as twitter) to attack starfield again. Starfield is so massive and successful that over 2 months after its initial release, people are still talking about Starfield. It’s that big. Starfield even caused a surge in the number of Xbox Game Pass subscribers. Starfield elevated Xbox to a higher level. Bethesda’s best game and work yet. It will forever plague the salty playstation fanboys. Now more specifically about the game.
Starfield is also massive as in the literal game itself. There’s so much to do. The first few hours aren’t boring. X35 Earthwalker found it interesting. You got to travel through space, engage in space ship battles and basically raid a facility filled with space pirates… no Samus Aran. How is that boring? Again just online idiot haters. What’s true though is that the game does get much better as you progress. To make this simple let’s break this down to some extent. There’s the main story missions, there’s also side missions, there’s faction missions, there’s activities and there’s constellation missions, infinite repayable missions and bounty hunting missions.
Main missions are obvious, the main story. The side missions can be found as you travel and talk to some people. They are bigger than activities and can lead to additional things. Faction missions are the full adventures you can have with the four factions. For example the UC, Crimson fleet and Freestar Collective. Actives are the small missions and they can come from almost anywhere. X35 Earthwalker found an actives mission just by standing near a group of people who are having a conversation. Normally quick stuff. Constellation normally consist of finding natural formations on certain planets in specific systems or getting a complete survey of a planet. You get far enough you can get the repayable missions like constantly fight terrormorphs to clean up the galaxy and get money and experience points. Bounty hunting is simple. Get a target, find them and fight. Space battles or in facilities.
These alone will take you over 100 hours easily. So many players in Starfield have the same situation which is they are numerous hours in and haven’t even started the second story mission yet. There’s just so much. You can face terromorphs, defend a city from an attack, travel to classified facilities to uncover a dangerous secret that many died for. Work as a space police officer, investigate a big operation, go undercover and during that undercover, go undercover. So you’re undercover going undercover. Wow. so we think you can see what we mean when we say there is so much to do in Starfield. Even the conversations with some of these characters can get out of hand, funny or straight up weird. So try talking to some with actual dialogue choices.
Players can off course build outposts, which are your bases. You can use different designs for your base and the facilities. build a watch tower which is massive and very effective. Set up turrets which will fire automatically on all enemies. build extractors to harvest certain materials and through some base building mechanics can get that stuff dumped right into your storages. You can recruit employees for your outposts or ship and their stats and strengths make a difference. You can even own homes/properties in Starfield and decorate them with furniture and other things you find. There is also off course the ship building. You can buy a ship, deconstruct it and build it up with a lot of freedom. There are many crazy design online that you can look up and see. Including a master chief head and hamburger like looking ship. It’s that crazy.
Overall Starfield is amazing and easily Bethesda’s best work and biggest game. We haven’t even talked about how big the universe is and how many systems there are and the many different planets with the different alien species and flora around. The numerous minerals and materials you can harvest and collect. We haven’t even talked about the supernatural abilities players will obtain in the future. Some call it space powers. there’s sop much that X35 Earthwalker has discovered yet as we haven’t been completed the main mission quests yet. Just started. This should tell you just how massive Starfield is. Xbox and pc players are definitely getting way more than their money worth. Spider-man 2 was completed by some fans in 9 hours while Starfield players are hounders go hours in and still got so much more to do. We knew Starfield will be great and it was more than we expected in many ways but there is still lots of room for the game to be bigger and better. Now Starfield may be a massive game with so much to do but it’s so small in comparison to… the ‘Earth Walk!’
Turok 3: Shadow of Oblivion Remastered is an action adventure First Person Shooter game developed and published by ‘Nightdive Studios‘. Turok 3: Shadow of Oblivion is said to be coming out the 14th of November 2023 on the Xbox Series X, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PS5, PS4 and pc. X35 Earthwalker has many questions regarding this game. Turok 3: Shadow of Oblivion Remastered out here wanting to bring back some experiences. Let’s take a look.
Turok 3: Shadow of Oblivion Remastered is obviously a remaster. Not a remake. So players who are a fan of the Turk series should already know what to expect. Those who truly enjoyed Turok 3: Shadow of Oblivion should definitely get a kick out of Turok 3: Shadow of Oblivion Remastered. The remaster strongly implies there’s going to be a an upgrade in the visuals and graphics. at the bare minimum there has to be.
Here’s what was said about Turok 3: Shadow of Oblivion Remastered, “it now supports gameplay on contemporary devices with impressive 4K resolution at 120FPS. This title complements the esteemed remasters of Turok and Turok 2: Seeds of Evil, brought to life by Nightdive Studios, Universal Games, and Digital Platforms, rounding off the trilogy. The remastered version boasts refined gameplay, sharp high-resolution textures, advanced lighting and rendering, and gamepad support.”
Other from this we hear that Turok 3: Shadow of Oblivion Remastered will also have more features like anti-aliasing, ambient occlusion, bloom, dynamic shadows and motion blur. There’s also updated weapon models, “remastered environment art” and better character models. On top of all that there are new achievements. So players have new things to fight and aim for… if you care about the achievements.
We checked out some Turok 3: Shadow of Oblivion Remastered gameplay and it’s not really what we expected. We did expect the visuals to be better though. It’s easier said than done but we have seen better jobs. The performance is definitely much better though and that does matter a lot. Our main concern is the problem that almost every remaster game has which is what else do they offer. they don’t have top offer more but it definitely adds far more reason to get the remaster besides just playing it again. Turok 3: Shadow of Oblivion Remastered being available on next gen and modern consoles is. big deal and added accessibility. X35 Earthwalker just always wants there to be some bonuses included.
Overall Turok 3: Shadow of Oblivion Remastered does look like an alright game. Turok 3: Shadow of Oblivion wasn’t out favourite Turok. We wanted more Turok evolution. That would be big move. The developers ‘Nightdive studios’ have done an alright job so far. We at X35 Earthwalker will have to hear what this game does. Now Turok 3: Shadow of Oblivion Remastered may have brought an upgrade but it’s too noticeable for… the ‘Earth Walk!’
Warhammer 40000: Darktide is just pure action. Let’s start off with that. X35 Earthwalker have been completing many missions, rising through the ranks, mowing down endless foes and fried those foolish enough to stand against him. If you want a team based shooter and to face down hordes of enemies then definitely give Warhammer 40000: Darktide a whirl. Here are some thoughts.
Warhammer 40000: Darktide isn’t just about the hordes. There’s special enemy units who bring whole new problems to your team. You have a dude with a net gun to catch and immobilise a whole team mate. There’s real bad dogs who will also pin and immobilise a whole teammate. There’s even a flame grenade throwing hater who will set the whole floor on fire. This isn’t even one quarter of all the special units. This game can get real crazy.
Of course X35 Earthwalker chose the Psyker class. Psyker is the best class in the whole game… we don’t care what you have to say. Psykers are crazy. We have literally held back and fried and entire horde of enemies with smite. It looks cool. It sounds nice and there’s electricity and smoke everywhere. UNLIMITED POWER!!!! As you laugh or cackle like a madman or mad woman. No Star Wars reference included. Smokey remains is all that’s left. The other classes do the dang thang but they are what you’d expect… normal. We need to see more of the zealot.
Now we do believe that the zealot needs a rework. Basically there’s no reason to pick a zealot. The Skullbreaker Ogryn exists. That’s the reason. If you want melee then the ogryn is the better pick. The ogryn has more hp, big powerful ranged weapons, can revive without interruption and possibly do the most damage out of all classes. So yeah… no zealot needed. They need to change what the zealot does as a whole. The zealot is suppose to be zealous and faithful to the emperor and willing to die for the cause. Then give the zealot some holy powers and abilities.. not just being tough. They should be able to imbue holy power into their weapons or have far more emphasis on fire to burn out and cleanse the heretics. Maybe some miracle abilities or a passive that happens when someone is immobilised. The zealot needs a whole rework to actually be useful and stand out. Right now we won’t pick a zealot.
X35 Earthwalker has livestreamed Warhammer 40000: Darktide. Also check out the gameplay videos we have. They show you all you need to know about Warhammer 40000: Darktide. Another major change we need is a whole new faction of enemies. Warhammer 40000: Darktide with the city of Tertium is big enough for more development. What if another faction shows up in the city. What if orcs and grits invade or an orc event. What if gene stealers start emerging from underground or something. Both do make sense and can be dealt with by the class of characters we control. Developers could get creative and bring in something completely new to the Warhammer 40000 universe that isn’t canon… if they have the rights to do so. It’s a video game after all, things should get creative.
Warhammer 40000: Darktide doesn’t need to stop where it currently is. This game can go even further and bring in more players. The game has gone through some quality of life changes. What we need now is some big stuff instead. Even though Warhammer 40000: Darktide is good fun. It does get a bit old. Just go in and repeat missions, reach a certain level to unlock a simple but not exciting cutscene. Doesn’t feel like much of a story right now. The action is clearly the main feature as it should be. Some aspects need to change and upgrade. If Warhammer 40000: Darktide wants to be about action, then crank that action up even more.
Overall Warhammer 40000: Darktide is a great game still. If you and your friends want team shooting action then you have an answer here. Warhammer 40000: Darktide is definitely better than Left 4 Dead 2. We at X35 Earthwalker are looking forward to seeing big changed and improvements to this game.
Stray Souls is a survival horror game developed by ‘Jukai Studio‘ and published by ‘Versus Evil‘. Stray Souls is said to come out the 25th of October 2023 on the Xbox Series X, PS5 and pc. X35 Earthwalker will give this game a chance. Stray Souls is definitely going to be something that players will recognise. Let’s take a look.
Stray Souls is about a dude named Daniel who inherits a house from his “estranged grandmother”. Of course he happily moves in and meets a girl who clearly has good knowledge about the house. This ain’t your normal house alright. It’s a horror game, of course it isn’t. The thing is, as the night progresses, things get darker and more secrets come to the surface.
Players will need to not only explore the house but also the surrounding area. There’s quite a bit to see. We definitely like the big scenery. Seeing water, rocks, trees and the fact that you’re basically on your own. Now if gamers were paying attention they would be reminded about something. Stray Souls does remind us of silent hill. The indoors, the outdoors and the exploration. Things can be dark and fog is a bit of a thing but not as heavy. Not only that… there’s some threats too.
Now off course a game like Stray Souls definitely needs some threats. There are. Some almost chalky statue looking ones. Even the enemies sort of remind us of silent hill, except these enemies are better. They do however look like a baseball bat would get the job done easily. Now there are some real big threats too. There’s this big beast looking one that and it sure ain’t friendly. Most likely Daniel must hide and run from that thing, instead of battle.
We checked out some Stray Souls gameplay and it’s what we expected sort off. Stray Souls doesn’t keep you defenceless. Daniel can get a firearm. A pistol has been seen. Taking down the humanoid ones. There’s some action here. Things do look standard for sure. Stray Souls doesn’t look impressive graphically. We were hoping for more but it definitely get the job done.
Overall Stray Souls seems like an alright game. The biggest factor is the large monster enemy. The others aren’t intimidating. The house needs to have some scary and creepy stuff. The outdoors are also the better parts in our opinions. The developers ‘Jukai studios’ have done a good job so far. We at X35 Earthwalker will have to hear what this game brings up. Stray Souls may have a giant monster in the forest but it’s a small problem if handled by… the ‘Earth Walk!’
Dead Island 2 ‘Haus’ is the new story expansion developed by ‘Dambuster studios‘ and published by ‘Deep Silver‘. Dead Island 2 ‘Haus’ is said to be coming out the 2nd of November 2023 on the Xbox Series X, Xbox One, PS5, PS4 and pc. X35 Earthwalker sees the twist that this expansion is bringing. Dead Island 2 ‘Haus’ is coming in hot. Let’s take a look.
Dead Island 2 ‘Haus’ already has out attention due to one major change that it appears to bring. First and foremost players will get a whole new area to explore and battle in… Malibu. There’s a cult there and off course a billionaire is involved. More like running things. It has been described as a psycho horror dreamscape. This is a whole new storyline and it fits into Dead Island 2 timeline as the ending had players character stay behind to do a search for a specific character. So it fits.
Now time for some new stuff. New weapons. There’s the K-rossbow which is long ranged and described as powerful. There’s another called the “Dead Islands”. That’s now you know it’s crazy powerful as it’s named after the game basically. It’s said to “take the weight off their shoulders whilst they smash undead enemies into oblivion”. There’s also a flame thrower basically called a Hog Roaster. So that’s good to see. Flamethrower vs zombies sounds like fun.
There’s more cards now as well. 8 new cards to be exact. We ain’t saying what they do. Learn for yourself. This techno death cult is going to be a problem. Not for the mighty character that X35 Earthwalker created though. Easy work. For the rest of you Dead Island 2 players, this should be a battle. So get ready to see the cult leader hq… Konstantin’s 1960s modern style villa… which sucks.
We checked out Dead Island 2 ‘Haus’ gameplay and it’s what we expected. Sadly it’s so far underwhelming for us. More like standard Dead Island 2… which isn’t bad as Dead Island 2 is an excellent game. We had lots of fun. We were just hoping for things to take a more scary turn. We see some attempts though. Things are definitely darker and there’s some Bramble: The mountain king type stuff going on in there… sort off. Watch out for a pig. Trust us.
Overall Dead Island 2 ‘Haus’ looks like it’s going to be a good experience for sure. Dead Island 2 players got something new to look forward to with a whole new storyline. How crazy will this cult be? Will there be new or variants of the zombies? We have questions and will wait to see. The developers ‘Dambuster studios’ have done a good job so far. We at X35 Earthwalker will listen up for what this expansion dlc has to offer. Dead Island 2 ‘Haus’ may have a cult in Malibu but they are just small fry compared to… the ‘Earth Walk!’
Slender: The Arrival 10 year anniversary update is the adventure horror game developed by ‘Blue Isle studios‘. Slender: The Arrival 10 year anniversary update is said to be coming out the 18th of October 2023 on the Xbox Series X, PS5 and pc. X35 Earthwalker has stepped on slender man multiple times. He’s not an issue to him. Slender: The Arrival 10 year anniversary update wants to bring some scares and memories. Let’s take a look.
Slender: The Arrival 10 year anniversary update automatically just brings back memories for many gamers. Slender man at one point was very popular and made sure that people stayed out of the woods. X35 Earthwalker still went through a forest. The whole premise was that you collected pages. 8 pages and as you got more and more of them, the slender man was more aggressive, got closer and gave you more issues. Do not look at Slender man and most importantly never touch him either. That’s all.
Then there was Slender: The arrival which was the full fledge game for slender man. You had a story. You had to actually travel somewhere. There was more objectives, usually just finding multiple of something like generators to move on to the next area. There was multiple levels and even. second threat. Some called her kate or something. We do not care. Overall a much better game that the first little test taste for player that was the 8 pages. Slender man still behaved the same way for the most part but Kate was the one who chased you down and you had to deal with her. This means there are expectations for Slender: The Arrival 10 year anniversary update.
Slender: The Arrival 10 year anniversary update is suppose to be a much better version of the previous arrival game… in every way. Read what they said about the game, “official re-imagining and expansion of the original game, featuring a brand-new storyline, new characters, improved visuals, great replay value, and most importantly, survival horror at its best”. Now that is just crazy. If accurate then Slender: The Arrival 10 year anniversary is clearly not just a remaster. There’s whole new stuff.
What sounds like complete cap right now is that whole “survival horror at its best” part. That’s a mighty claim and we will see for ourselves. New characters which hopefully means slender man has more friends to bring into the party. Hopefully the whole games design makes more sense and they make it more realistic and relatable. Will the adventure take place over a whole town in different areas or will it just be another abandoned factory or whatever.
We checked out some Slender: The Arrival 10 year anniversary update gameplay and it’s what we expected. It looks familiar but a step up in quality. We like how the woods and trees looks. Slender man does look lack buster though. Not intimidating at all. The game definitely looks more expansive. Can’t see what would make this game “survival horror at its best”. There’s a lot to see and we hope that it all gets seen.
Overall Slender: The Arrival 10 year anniversary update looks like it’s going to be a good game. It’s slender man so we know what to expect by now. If you don’t then this might just be a new experience for you. We hop eat escape and encounters are done well. The developers ‘Blue Isle studios’ have done a good job so far. We at X35 Earthwalker aren’t looking forward to this game but we know many are. Slender: The Arrival 10 year anniversary update may have a improved and expanded adventure but it’s not spooky enough for… the ‘Earth Walk!’
