Decay of Logos is a new action role playing game developed by ‘Amplify Creations‘ and published by ‘Rising Star Games‘. Decay of Logos is said to be coming out the 27th of August on PlayStation 4, 29th for Nintendo Switch and 30th for Xbox One and PC. Decay of Logos is looking like a real adventure, a serious game. Let’s take a look.

Players control a lady named Ada. Ada is on a journey… of revenge. Her village got attacked and destroyed. You only have faint remembrance of the banners of the attackers but you need more information. You were when up by a mystical Elk. Ada feels an overwhelming sense of calm and safety. There was no reasonable explanation for it, but Ada somehow felt connected to the creature. So the whole game takes place in a very fantasy styled world. Expect fictional stuff everywhere and lots of imagination. You are in a ancient kingdom. The ruler is a king who is a big fan of wars and military affairs. We do know that the king was that good of a father and showed little affection for his sons.

Things get worse for him as his wife the queen died during childbirth. Now this child is his only daughter. He pays attention to her and sees to only care about protecting her. So off course the sons now bigger are becoming more distant from their dad. You can see where this is going. Eventually the family divides. The sons all hate their sister, they themselves separated from each other with each prince controlling their own part of the kingdom. All have a huge thirst for power and heavily influenced the parts they rule, “each territory reflecting their particular idiosyncrasies.”

We like the story so far of Decay of logos. It’s got a lore and some deep situations going on. It believably explains the world and why the kingdom is the way it is now. You can understand the sons and why they hate their sister, even though they are wrong to hate her. It’s the dads fault in this case. The player starts in Laetus grove. Players will also quickly learn that the world in Decay of Logos is not an ordinary world. You will see all kinds of beings: mythical creatures, wizards, ancient species and even knights.

Now remember that Decay of Logos is an action role playing game. Decay of Logos shows a lot of emphasis on exploration, inventory management and off course tactical combat. The elk is also a big part of the gameplay as it’s needed for combat, puzzle interaction and definitely exploration. Your greatest ally. We’ve played enough video game to know when somethings up. Clearly this elk isn’t just an elk and it’s probably going to be someone from her village and it being an elk is a result from the attack on the village. Either the person died and is now an elk spirit or they became an elk through mystical means or whatever. This was sort of similar in terms of the game Never Alone with the fox being a boy all this time… oh what… we are suppose to say something?… that’s right… spoiler alert.

Now throughout this world there are some friendly NPC’s which are said to be a good source of tips, game lore and even some items so make sure to check them out and socialise. Now remember that this whole game is filled with monsters, mythical creatures, wizards and even ancient species. So you will face many dangers and different foes. The combat is confirmed to be difficult… but also worth it. Players must take into account that the type of enemy you are facing and your location. Those are factors.

Decay of Logos allows you to fight back. Your character Ada has got some mobility to her name and a good fighter. She jump, parry (learn this), roll, sprint, backstep and slide. So use this stuff. It will save your life. Players can have different long and short range weapons. There’s more. There’s defence equipment too like shields. Elemental effects are here too so take this into account when facing certain enemies. Ada can also perform powerful combos so make sure your timing is right.

Now to make the game more realistic, and force players to pay more attention, there’s also stamina. Your actions requires stamina. Evading and counter attacking requires stamina so don’t run out. Decay of Logos is also quite a magical world as Ada is able to also use magic but that’s something you’ll discover as you progress through the game. So combat mobility, stamina, elemental effects, magic and powerful combos.

There’s more though and we do like this feature. When you get hit by enemies, your stats decrease making you weaker until you find and use a camp and rest. When you die you will wake up from a nightmare at the last shrine or camp used. Since you wake up some enemies will respawn and your stats will be reduced temporarily.

Remember that Decay of Logos is also as role playing game (RPG). There is a level up system. Your stats grow as you interact and activate mechanism, off course kill enemies and even finding chests, we mean secret ones will boost you up. Don’t forget that getting hurt reduces your stats temporarily.  Lastly know that Camps and Shrines aren’t the same thing. Shrines are basically checkpoints while Camps can be used to save the game and sleep to recover which has it’s risks as you can get ambushed during your sleep.

We checked out some Decay of Logos gameplay and it does looks cool so far. We like the design style. We like that you have to gain the elk’s trust through protecting it and feeding it. There are secrets in the lands, your interactions with some NPC’s may effect your game later on, it’s pretty much an open world and that there’s a good variety of enemies so far. The graphics are good and the environments are cool too with the variety.  So far Decay of logos is doing some stuff right.

Overall Decay of Logos seems like a very good game. It’s doing it’s own thing and not a Zelda: Breath of the Wildclone as some internet people have said. The developers ‘Amplify Creations’ have done a good job with this game so far. We at X35 Earthwalker will have to keep an eye out for this game. Now Decay of Logos may be a fantasy world but one more awesome world that’s completely real is… the ‘Earth Walk!’

Aritana and the Twin Masks is a new action adventure game developed by ‘Duaik‘. Aritana and the Twin Masks is said to be coming out the 16th of August 2019 on the Xbox One. We heard it also plans to be on PS4 but no clear date has been given yet. Now this game does look interesting and as room for creativity and things to make it awesome. Let’s take a look.

Not much information given concerning this game but this isn’t the first time Aritana has been mentioned. Aritana and the Twin Masks has been called the second adventure. We certainly haven’t heard of the first. This means that fans would know about this games world and the history of the characters. Probably. What we  do know is that Aritana and the Twin Masks is suppose to be a big adventure and the story is all based on Brazilian mythology. This means players can expect unnatural events, creatures and laws. This also means this game has good opportunity to make it as imaginative and fantasy based as possible.

You off course play Aritana and follow him on his adventure to save the tree of life. Tree of life? Many things get their inspirations and ideas from the Bible. The tree of life was in the garden of Eden. Read Genesis 3:22, just saying. So this tree in Aritana and the Twin Masks is in danger. Now it wouldn’t be a game if you just walked up to the tree did a chant and then all was well. It’s a whole adventure with a massive forest, tropical fruits that magical powers derive from and the gods. You are armed with a bow that’s powered by a god. Sounds powerful. So is it infinite arrows or explosive or can it hit things that aren’t visible or really there? Questions.

Aritana and the Twin Masks is certainly big one environments and explorable areas. It’s not just a forest players will explore but there’s even a temple. A lost temple. How do you lose a temple anyway? That temple will contain artifacts that you can mix in different special potions to create all kinds of effects and useful variables in your adventure. There are many powers in this world and some of them are needed. For example some will allow you to be able to solve certain puzzles. Yes, puzzles.

We checked out some Aritana and the Twin Masks gameplay and well it does look cool but not exciting. Aritana and the Twin Masks does remind us of an old game on the PlayStation 2 called Brave. Both based on mythology, both action adventure with puzzles. Like Brave it’s cool but not exciting our awesome. It’s graphics isn’t the best but good enough.  We are liking the amount of mystical things that happens in this world. We are liking the abilities and find it funny how totems are basically enemies.

Overall Aritana and the Twin Masks does seem like an alright game. The music is very good and the sounds are good too. It’s just the graphics that don’t stand up to the standards in 2019. We like the creativity and hope for a more interesting variety of enemies. The developers ‘Duaik’ have done an alright job so far. We at X35 Earthwalker will have to see more of this game as time passes. Now Aritana and the Twin Masks may have a mystical world but even that world is simple when compared to.. the ‘Earth Walk!’

Metal Wolf Chaos is a new action mech shooter developed by ‘General Arcade‘ and ‘FromSoftware‘ and published by ‘Devolver Digital Games‘. Metal Wolf Chaos is said to be coming out the 6th of August on the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC. Is America ready for this one? Guess we’ll have to find out. Let’s take a look.

The world of Metal Wolf Chaos is set in America. Basically what’s going on is that the vice-president Richard Hawk has started and lead a full scale rebellion in an attempt to take over America and guess be in charge. The current president Donald- we mean Michael Wilson must defend America. Since he is president, it’s his job to take America back and he’s doing it by any means necessary. Now this would be so easy and just have to call the police if it weren’t for Richard Hawk having a mechanised army. He commands legions of them. President Michael Wilson will use his own advanced powerful mech, which has loads of firepower and weapons, to battle all across America and save the nation. Simple story and it makes sense.

So basically a remake and we know the deal with remakes. There isn’t that much to say about them. What we do know and hope is that they get all the required elements of a remake or modernising game. The first things many gamers look for and expect of a game like this is the graphics and visuals. Metal Wolf Chaos has received a visual upgrade but still doesn’t look as great as your average  2019 game. Reminds us more of Duke Nukem 3D in a way but obviously better visuals though. The developers need to step up on graphics. The controls have been improved and that should be instantly noticeable. Also expected will be 4K as that’s what many seem to care about now. 16:9 viewing is supported for modern screens.

We checked out some Metal Wolf Chaos gameplay. If you know the original game then you know what to expect. It’s sort of what we expected though. You literally run around blasting everything. Using powerful weapons, strafing, locking on, dodging and even getting physical with your enemies. Lots of action. The game certainly delivers on the action. Classic players would like the style to because of how it controls and what you are capable of doing. Expect tanks to come after you, aircrafts, missiles, bullets and much more all here to take you down. After all you ain’t getting your country back that early.

Overall, Metal Wolf Chaos seems like a alright game. Honestly hope the graphics improve way more. The action is solid from what we can see so far. Many gamers would jump in just to zoom around and blow stuff up in many different ways with different weapons. The developers ‘General Arcade’ and ‘FromSoftware’ have done an alright job with this game so far but more is needed. We at X35 Earthwalker will just have to wait and see what becomes of this game. Now Metal Wolf Chaos may have action and explosions but nothing more explosive than… the ‘Earth Walk!’

River City Girls is a new actin brawler game developed by ‘WayForward‘ and ‘Arc System Works‘. River City Girls is said to be coming out the 5th of September 2019 on the Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PS4 and PC. This game is suppose to be a whole lot of butt kicking. Let’s take a look.

In the world River City Girls, two young ladies called ‘Kyoko and Misako’ where just going about their day when they learnt that their boyfriends got kidnapped. How they got kidnapped was serious business but typical. Basically the both of them were just strolling down the street when a van pulled up next to them and dudes jump put with bats, snatch up the two boyfriends and gave them a real beating. Bruises and all. Honestly they could have prevented that but seemed to caught off guard and slow to react. Also the guys who jumped them looked like police or security. Since they didn’t have a police van it’s safe to say it’s a group that dress up like officials or something like that.

So what do young ladies like Kyoko and Misako do in City River Girls? They called the police and left it to the law… Just joking, they grab a bat, put on a knuckle duster and head out through the 6 regions of River City kicking all kinds of buttery themselves. Punches, kicks, throws, hurling objects and more. Now when you see the graphics style of the game and the gameplay, some gamers will be reminded of Scott Pilgrim vs the world: The game. They are both arcade style, olden time beat em up games. Very 16-bit looking with the health bar, money and score. This type of style can work very well. Scott pilgrim vs the world: the game certainly pulled it off, so River City Girls can too.

So yes, players must fight there way through. Enemies will show up and try to take you out. Just beat them up and keep it up. Games like this are straight forward and easy to understand and get on with. We are glad to hear that there is strategy to this game in terms of the combat. You can counter attacks which off course means timing is required to pull it off. There are different combos for players to use and master so variety seems to be present here. Off course there are special attacks and we hope they come in good variety too. What is different from Scott Pilgrim vs the world: The game is that there are side quests and the ability to recruit fallen enemies as allies in combat which is definitely awesome but how did the girls do that. Did the fallen foes respect how they got beat up and decided to join?

Now in terms of music we know that River City Girls have synth-pop soundtracks which happens to feature Chipzel, Megan McDuffee, NateWantsToBattle and Christina Vee. Don’t know any of them. The game also is going for that fun comical kind of style too as there are anime like cutscenes and the intermissions have a manga style to it. From our experience we can tell that the boyfriends will be playable characters which will be an awesome move. Also you can buy items, gear and more in order to boost your characters stats. The first time we played Scott Pilgrim we didn’t know how to boost our stats. It was by accident so we are glad that River City Girls makes that more clear.

We checked out some River City Girls gameplay and we saw quite a bit. The trailer does a good job. Cheerleaders are enemies, dudes who have Elvis hair, regular dudes in school uniform and the guys who have the same uniform as the guys who kidnapped the boyfriend. Fight in the streets, the arcade, school areas like the sports hall and more. One thing we noticed is that the game does look too easy right now. Scott Pilgrim vs the world: the game eventually got too easy and gamers ruined it by continuously spamming the special move with Scott making even the final boss a joke. So River City Girls needs to make sure the game is a challenge.

Overall, River City Girls seem like. good game for now but it hasn’t made us want to play it yet. It’s currently interesting, looks fun and seems we do want to know more about this game. We know there are gamers who will find this real cool and that’s good. The developers ‘WayForward’ and ‘Arc System Works’ have done a good job with this game. Now River City Girls may have butt kicking girls but nothing kicks butt more than… the ‘Earth Walk!’

OVIVO is a action adventure game developed by ‘IzHard’. It is said to be coming out the 3rd of July 2019 on the Xbox One and according to the official website, Nintendo Switch and PS4. Now this game is said to be quite deep, have a story and can be confusing to some. Let’s take a look.

OVIVO has also been described as a metaphorical game. A game filled with messages and illusions. Now from that alone, we can tell that OVIVO won’t be simple and will confuse some players. One of those games where the fanbase have different theories concerning certain things and meanings. Is OVIVO trying to share a message, warning or lesson with gamers?

The world of OVIVO everything is either black or white. The black and white exist and work together. They keep replacing each other and moving around to main balance or something like that. Basically you control what basically looks like an apple. It’c called OVO and is created from the black and white of this world. OVO has the ability to switch between black and white in order to move through black or white surfaces and areas. So yes, focus is required here as you” need to know timing and what colour is needed at what time.

Now you must make your way through this metaphoric world which won’t be easy as there are some dangers floating around. There are various dangers. There are also symbols in this world too that the player must collect. You will get answer from these symbols as they help reveal the story of this strange world. The developers have hinted that there may be different ways to interpret what’s actually going on.

So yeah this game definitely reminds us of a legendary game that also is based on colours and requires switching between them to traverse and face dangers. The answer is… Outland. Outland mastered this game mechanic but was more action focused. OVIVO is giving a more puzzle approach. We just hope that OVIVO pulls of what it’s trying to do well.

We checked out some gameplay and it’s very simple really. Just move through the black or white and change your colour when needed. Traverse the area and do some thinking. We do like that black dragon though. It was homing in on you, clearly intimidating and shows that there are other beings in this world that will show no mercy. It’s a simple casual like game that you just play bit by bit when you have like 30 minutes available. Looks like it will serve it’s purpose.

Overall OVIVO looks like a good game fr what it is. The graphics look very good and the level designs are varied and interesting. Nicely made. The mechanics seem to work smoothly. No obvious visible errors from what we have seen. The developers ‘IzHard’ have done a good job with this game. We at X35 Earthwalker will have to see what the gaming community thinks of it. Now OVIVO may have harmony between black and white but what has unmatched harmony is… the ‘Earth Walk!’

Fort Boyard is a new action party game developed by ‘Appeal Studio’ and published by ‘Microids‘. Fort Boyard is coming out the 27th of June 2019 on Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PS4 and PC. Fort Boyard is legendary but will this game be legendary? Let’s take a look.

If you don’t know anything about Fort Boyard, then shame on you. Shame on you. Come of your electronic device for a while, go sit in the corner of your room and think about what you’ve done for a while. Just joking. Fort Boyard is like Crystal Maze as it’s a show where real people compete and take on challenges, normally physical to hopefully win prizes. Sort of like Jungle Run. So friendly, all laughs, competition for prizes and aired on TV. Now Fort Boyard is getting it’s latest game.

So if you did a little research on Fort Boyard then you instantly know exactly what the game will be about, what it will offer and what it’s trying to recreate for players. Remember that Fort Boyard is also a party game so that means multiplayer. So like Mario Party, grab some friends and work together to get the gold. After all, those tigers don’t need it. Seriously what will tigers do with all that cash and gold?

There’s many activities and challenges in Fort Boyard. Gather all the keys and do your best. Honestly guys there isn’t that much we can really say about the game. Once you see it for yourself then you truly understand it all. There doesn’t appear to be secrets or anything it’s just a straight up action party game based on a TV show that many have watched. Here’s some additional information on the Fort Boyard game:

  • There are four playable characters
  • 4 collectible keys
  • There are some activities that can be unlocked through collecting clues
  • probably 12 activities in total
  • In multiplayer you can work together or play against each other

We checked out some gameplay and it definitely looks like a Nintendo game. Colourful, nice graphics and seems easy and straight to the point. There really isn’t much to say at all. There’s like a bull riding challenge, water surfing, ducking and jumping to evade getting hit and more. Just fun.

Overall Fort Boyard just seems like a fun action party game. If you like Fort Boyard or just want another game to play with friends or family then that’s what this does. Again, there isn’t much to say about this. It is literally what it is. The developers ‘Appeal studio’ did a good job with this game. Now Fort Boyard may have a game but what’s not a game is… the ‘Earth Walk!’

War Tech Fighters is a new space action game developed by ‘Drakkar Dev‘ and published by ‘Green Man Gaming Publishing‘. It is coming out the 27th of June on the Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PS4 but also the 25th of July for PC (steam). So big robots, lasers, explosions, sort of like an anime. Let’s take a look.

In the world of War tech Fighters, there’s a big battle going on between two armies. Let us explain. The rebel colonies: Hebos and Ares have decide to join forces and work together to fight against the empire… the zatros empire. They certainly don’t have the numbers or machine advantage but they do have what’s considered “the deadliest weapons ever built”… War Techs. Think of them sort of like transformers but not alive and has more fire power. These War Techs will make all the difference and give the rebels a chance.

Since War Tech Fighters this is a space action game, everything will take place in space (no you don’t say). This means space crafts, giant space carriers, small fighter ships, high speed strikers, lasers, explosions and great risk. Think of War tech Fighters like one of those robot anime with people controlling them and they face other machines just like them but off course different strengths, skills, weapons and stats. That’s probably the best way to imagine it.

There isn’t that much to say about War Tech Fighters. It’s a giant robots, space battle action game. Off course these War Techs are made for combat. They have blasters, missiles, lasers, long range weaponry and when things get a bit too close, use those melee weapons like shields and swords. So there is no safe zone for the player. You can always get attacked so keep your mobility high and your damage output.

What we did find interesting is that players can either fight in first or third person view. It’s always great to provide the options. Now a game like War Tech Fighters off course need some level of customisation and it does. A lot! It’s been said that there are thousands of possible combinations thanks to the range of colours, different mechanical parts and off course the weapons themselves.

There is also another game mode called ‘survival mode’ where you literally just survive for a s long as possible with numerous and dangerous enemies all aiming to take you down. This isn’t just for passing time though and players can earn rewards in the process. So there’s a reason to play it.

Your War Tech is some static simple machine. Your War Tech can level up. You gain experience through combat and through exploration. While exploring you can find hidden project parts which grant you access to new swords, research projects, shields and war tech sets. So rewarding players for exploration is a good move. Off course a game, that has space as your playground, needs big exploration.

Now for smaller details in War Tech Fighters. Over 180 upgradable robot parts, repayable missions, 33 campaign missions and even perks that come with your shields and swords.

We checked out some War Tech Fighters gameplay and things look real good. It’s what we expected. A lot of side strafing, homing blasts, lasers, multiple enemies and a whole lot of space (see what we did there). There are enemies that are huge carrier ships, some look like stations, there are smaller fighters that move at fast speeds and worse off all there are other War Techs too and they also have a range of equipment and weapons so don’t take them lightly.

Overall War Tech Fighters does seem to do it’s job. Getting launched into space at high speeds, zooming around dodging attacks and projectiles while destroying enemies with big explosions and a range of weapons. The graphics look very good and the details on the War Techs is very good too. It’s literally a space action game. The developers ‘Drakkar Dev’ have done a very good job with this game. We at X35 Earthwalker will have to see what will happen with War Tech Fighters. Now War Tech Fighters may have space battles but the only thing truly out of this world is… the ‘Earth Walk!’

Cat Quest II – The Lupus Empire is a new open world action RPG developed by ‘The Gentlebros’ and published by ‘PQubed Limited‘. Cat Quest II – The Lupus Empire is said to be coming out in the second quarter of 2019 on the Xbox One, Android, Nintendo Switch, IOS, PS4 and PC. Now if you like cats, this game might be for you. Let’s take a look.

In Cat Quest II – The Lupus Empire the world os basically cats and dogs with off course more emphasis on the cats (not barking fair). There’re two kingdoms and they are at war with each other. They are: the cats of Felingard and the advancing dogs of the Lupus Empire. Why can’t cats and dogs get along? Cat Quest II – The Lupus Empire tells the “tail” of two kings who have to work together in order to reclaim their thrones. This is where the player comes in. Control the cat and dog and do your best to get your thrones back. Off course it won’t be an easy journey.

Those who played the previous Cat Quest game will somewhat know what they are getting into when they enter Cat Quest II – The Lupus Empire. Except this time there will be more battles, more explosions and more magic to make you into a fur-midable enemy. Cat Quest but basically bigger and expanded upon. There is a wider range of attacks and weapons too. Some of the new weapon types include staves and even master swords. Obviously master swords are better.

Cat Quest II – The Lupus Empire allows two player co-op. Someone controls the dog while the other controls the cat. Readers should hopefully by now know how we feel about co-op in games. Players should have the option of playing with friends and others in local co-op. Good move developers. Even more good since there are dungeons to dive into explore. Your team mate can help watch your back as there are traps in there. Challenges and problems are easier to solve with others.

Like with other RPGs players need to get tactical and quite creative. Players should make combos concerning their abilities, weapons and more. For example the attributes of the passive abilities allow for  quite a bit of options. There’s more to this game than just simply hitting attack all the time. Get the right timing for dodges and evade all damage, know what types of enemies you are facing and what’s the best way to put them down.

There are side quests too in Cat Quest II – The Lupus Empire. What RPG doesn’t have side quests? They aren’t suppose to be just missions to pass the time. Each one is said to have it’s own story which off course will help explain what’s going on in the Cat Quest II – The Lupus Empire universe. The lore will be expanded and probably hear some interesting stuff.

We checked out some gameplay and it’s not what we thought. How you move around on the map is very cool. You are literally running from area to area, walking around ponds, seas and seeing all the world structures too. Also enemies will just run up to you too and try to “axe” you a question. Cat Quest II – The Lupus Empire has actually gave us a bit of a surprise. Not bad. From what we have seen, the graphics look very good and the sounds are good too. Clearly good work has went into this game.

Overall Cat Quest II – The Lupus Empire seems like a very good game so far. From the smoothness of the gameplay to how expanded it is. There’s quite a bit going on in this game and we like what we see but the game does seem to easy in terms of combat and difficulty. It looks so easy to evade and handle enemies and we hope there are more enemies and greater difficulty. The developers ‘The Gentlebros’ have done a good job with this game. Now Cat Quest II – The Lupus Empire may have some serious cats and dogs but none are as serious as… the ‘Earth Walk!’

Devil's Hunt

Devil’s Hunt is a new third person action game developed by ‘Layopi Games‘ and published by ‘IC Entertainment‘. Devil’s Hunt is said to be coming out in the third quarter of 2019 on the Xbox One, PS4 and PC. Will this Hell game be any good? Let’s take a look.

In Devil’s Hunt players take control of Desmond was the son of a rich entrepreneur who is now in the middle of a huge war. A battle between good and evil, angels vs demons. Desmond is being called the sole factor in this war. Strange that a man is the factor in a war between super natural beings but whatever it’s a video game. So what’s special about Desmond? More like what’s smart about him as he signed a pact (that always goes well right) and now he has demonic powers and has become Hell’s executor. Who’s side will he take?

That’s right. In Devil’s Hunt, players will need to decide who’s side they are going to take. The demons or angels. Your decisions in this game will decide the fate of the world and off course humanity. Players should have much to enjoy Devil’s Hunt thanks to the story and in game lore. It’s suppose to be quite deep. The developers claim to have numerous cutscenes. On their official game site is says, “One and a half hour of high quality in-game cutscenes”. They sound very proud of their cutscenes.

Yes you will be fighting demons in Devil’s Hunt. So far Devil’s Hunt may have reminded some gamers of another Hell fighting game… Dante’s Inferno. Yep, like with Dante, you must fight demons using the demonic powers you have acquired to survive and make your way through Hell. This kind of concept hasn’t been done well most of the times by different games. Only Dante’s Inferno hell traversing, demon slaying gameplay was good. We hope Devil’s Hunt can pull it off. Besides, they aren’t going for a horror approach but an action one.

There are a wide range of attacks and abilities for players to gain, try out and work with. Slash and tear with your demon claws, punch in the face of demons with your fists and more as you combine the new demon powers with the skills you have as a human. There are loads of enemies so off course there needs to be different strategies for facing certain types. The combat has to stand out to make this game stand out.

We checked out some gameplay and things look quite good so far. The Doom’s grenade, ground slam and eruption attacks already show off a bit in the variety of attacks but everything, mainly the animations seem quite weak. We hope this is just because it’s early game development and not anything like the finished product. Players will need to keep their eyes open for hidden areas, secrets and mirrors which are to be smashed. We like that demons can harm their allies too in they are in the way of an attack. There are quick time events too like a demon suddenly grabbing you etc. There’s a number of good mechanics 9n Devil’s Hunt. What it needs is a quality boost and hopefully a good variety in boss or mini boss enemies.

Overall, Devil’s Hunt looks like an alright game. Once the quality and smoothness of the animations, sounds and gameplay gets boosted, this game will definitely be good. The focus and work that goes into the story is very good. Seems like a fun demon smashing game for now. The developers ‘Layopi Games’ did a good job with this game. We at X35 Earthwalker hope to see more of what Devil’s Hunt has to offer. Check out some gameplay for yourself. Now Devil’s Hunt may have demons but they are no match for…the ‘Earth walk!’

Colt Canyon

Colt Canyon is a new 2D action shooter game developed by ‘Retrific‘ and published by ‘Headup‘. It is said to be coming out in the third quarter of 2019 on the Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PS4 and PC. The Wild West just got wilder. Let’s take a look.

Colt Canyon is a simple indie game with a simple storyline with quite simple controls. So players control a cowboy who must rescue his partner who was kidnapped by a group of armed and dangerous people. You see the whole screen so keep an eye on the corners especially as you never know when enemies might show up firing all guns. Since things can surprise you that’s why some describe it as atmospheric.

Colt Canyon

Colt Canyon is a western style Wild West kind of game so off course you will have guns. Players have a revolver and even TNT. Fire and blow up your enemies and march right through without a care in the world. Keep an sharp eye out as there are hidden treasures and weapons around. You might find a shotgun and we all know a shotgun packs more power than a revolver. Treasure is always good so why not take some with you.

Two things to take into account is that Colt Canyon has rogue like elements concerning the rooms and levels and there is even permadeath so die once and it’s all over. So replayability is definitely there. Stealth is a optional feature in this game. You can sneak past enemies and off course sneak up to enemies too for that advantage. It’s the choice gamers must make. All out loud with guns blazing or more stealth for the clean kills. We think decide based on the the situation in the game.

Colt Canyon

We checked out some Colt Canyon gameplay and it looked how we imagine it would. Running around, open space, aiming your shots, avoiding danger and blowing stuff up. It’s also quite easy to die if players get careless. There are other people you can also save in Col Canyon and it’s up to you. There are many other unlock able characters that you can play as but best of all is that Colt Canyon has local co-op multiplayer. So grab your siblings, your mom, dad or friends and shoot some bandits and cowboys together. Also, when you rescue your partner, remember that you need to also make your way back.

Overall Colt Canyon looks like a good fun game. Casual gaming and simple. We like that there are upgrades for you and your allies to improve combat effectiveness. This adds a bit more layers to the game. There isn’t that much to say about this game though as it’s simple. The developers ‘Retrific’ did a good job with this game. We at X35 Earthwalker will keep an ear open for this game. Now Colt Canyon may have TNT and lots of guns but those weapons will have zero effect on… the ‘Earth Walk!’
