X35 Earthwalker Mecha Break

Mecha Break is definitely looking like it’s going to be the ultimate mech action. Mecha Break is developed and published by ‘Amazing Seasun Games‘. Mecha Break is an Xbox exclusive that’s said to be coming out in 2025 on the Xbox Series X/S and PC. Let’s take a look.

Now Mecha Break was one of the many awesome games that Xbox showed off at the game show case that X35 Earthwalker was excited for. For darn good reason too. There’s off course additional information on Mecha Break and it would be good for more players to know what’s up.

X35 Earthwalker Mecha Break

the story in Mecha Break is easy to understand but we hope they use the room for evolution effectively. There was a catastrophe but right after it Corite showed up. Corite is described as a “mysterious carbon-silicon mineral”. So clear;y there’s more to it. The good thing is that it became a big game changer in the energy industry. The bad thing though is that it has a pathogenic nature, bringing slow devouring spread that’s currently uncontrollable.

Now the Marcens Zones is heavily polluted and this is a major threat the entire world basically. So what’s the solution? Big mechs and technology. Take control of a third generation BREAK Striker. Of course you ain’t alone. Secret organisation S.H.A.D.O.W. (no hedgehog) is here to help… we all know how this turns out.

X35 Earthwalker Mecha Break

The main factor of Mecha Break is obviously the cool big bad mechs. So let’s check them out:

  • Pinaka – Medium Support – Field maintenance | Cover airdrop
  • Stego – Ultra Heavy Attacker – High caliber turret | Fire Suppression
  • Aquila – Heavy Sniper – Energy Sniper | Aerial Firepower
  • Inferno – Ultra Heavy Attacker – Heavy Firepower | Mob suppression
  • Skyraider – Medium Attacker – Transform ready | Frontline Bombardment
  • Hurricane – Ultra Heavy Defender – Mob Suppression | Stronghold Defence
  • Welkin – Heavy Brawler – Melee Combat | Versatile Weaponry
  • Luminae – Light Support – Field Maintenance | Weapon Switch
  • Narukami – Light Sniper – Energy Sniper | Area Cloaking
  • Tricera – Ultra Heavy Defender – Fortress | Field Maintenance
  • Alysnes – Medium Attacker – Removable Armour | Weapon Switch
  • Panther – Medium Brawler – Line Breaker | Weapon Switch
  • Falcon – Light Attacker – Aerial Combat | Transform Ready

X35 Earthwalker Mecha Break

As you can tell there’s different sizes, weight class, functions and roles. So wise players will check them all out, understand the cored inferences and find their style. This does matter as Mecha Break has different combat modes. 6v6 Hero shooter, 3v3 Deathmatch and most exciting the PvPvE Extraction Shooter. Off course different modes means different objectives so maybe a different approach and therefore a different mech.

X35 Earthwalker Mecha Break

The mechs also have their equipment, weapons and support etc. The official Mecha Break website has done a very good job of displaying the gear and providing information. It could have been better still. For example the Inferno model can use the ‘Charged splitter’ which ” launches energy blast ammunition when both cannon units (main weapon and side arm) are charged, dealing area damage.” This just open up more questions though concerning the weapons, effectiveness and damage types.

Now Mecha Break does allow players to design and create their own mech as well which is a wonderful choice. Choose your colours, patterns, decals (we hate decals), physical parts and features and more. Hopefully it is in depth enough to allow unique mechs and not every having similar things. You want to explore and fight in Mashmak islands with style. Speaking of Mashmak islands. That’s 200 square kilometer combat area.

X35 Earthwalker Mecha Break

We checked out some Mecha Break gameplay and it’s what we expected for the most part. As you progress, you’ll unlock a range of characters and encounter more pilots. Make sure to collect materials needed for upgrades. There are Corite pulse storms which are spreading quite rapidly. Lots of hostile set ups and garrisons. The ballistic rounds, energy weapons, projectile effects, flying, thrusts and mobility is looking excellent so far.  The game is just looking that good. This brings more hope and builds anticipation.

Overall Mecha Break looks fantastic right now. Now there are some unanswered questions which will effect things but we like to be positive over here. There seems to be a lot going on and not just blasting everything you see. Even your main hangout the S.H.A.D.O.W. hangar has secrets of its own. Players need to be observant and look around as they go to discover more. The biggest factor is obviously the combat here and the types of mechs. It needs to be a whole grade above everything else. We also hope for an expansion on the number of game modes. Not everything should be about other players. Something for solo players too besides a story mode. The developers ‘Amazing Seasun Games’ have done an excellent job so far. We at X35 Earthwalker will keep our eyes open for this game. Now Mecha Break

MechWarrior 5: Clans X35 Earthwalker

Mechwarrior 5: Clans is a mechs simulation action game developed and published by ‘Piranha Games‘. Mechwarrior 5: Clans is excellent. Truly a level up from Mechwarrior 5: Mercenaries, which was also a fun game. X35 Earthwalker has dived in and a lot has happened. This just might be mech battles… at its finest. Let’s take a look.

Mechwarrior 5: Clans right off the gate does some things differently and even adds new things. First of all the game got these cinematics going on that previous Mechwarriors’s didn’t have. The story has more real characters with very different personalities. The chemistry is there and believable. Being good friends and better comrades, caring about each other, taking jabs at each other, laughing. They feel like a squad. To the point that when a previous member earlier in the game was having doubts and struggles but died in his exam, the group felt it and it still did hurt. There was some impact. This is a big deal for Mechwarrior 5: Clans as this whole character thing was never at this level with previous games.

MechWarrior 5: Clans X35 Earthwalker

For example some can understand the situation that Liam is in. Descendant of a super famous important figure in their nations history and so getting compared all the time, held to high standards all the time. Makes one mistake or does something different and gets called out by command ALL THE TIME. Told he’s disgracing his blood line… ALL THE TIME. He feels invisible. The only see the ancestor and not him, even though he is talented himself. That sucks. Reminds us of Sam Coe from Starfield in a way. Naomi has her own story with her previous squad and it does show in her behaviour with the team. She is new and doesn’t have that chemistry. She is also older than them and when you get into the game you can see why this does effect things top some extent.

There’s also pilot upgrades for the characters. For example there’s evasion which increases the chance of enemy incoming fire to miss. Powerful stuff. The command wheel has been improved and it’s way easier to access on console. This makes adjustments much quicker and adds to the whole simulation gameplay of Mechwarrior 5: Clans. Players can use Override in serious situations to prevent an overheat shutdown. Throttle Decay as well for players to decide based on how they want to move. Tell your entire squad to be passive and not attack enemies they see… maybe for some stealth. There is a stealth mission after all.

MechWarrior 5: Clans X35 Earthwalker

Then there’s the map. Y’all should know by now that X35 Earthwalker loves a good in-game map. The map is very good in Mechwarrior 5: Clans. Updates real time, accurate information, Tracking of enemies and the map doubles up as another place to give instructions to your team. Direct whole team or specific members to certain locations. Get them to use a ammo or medical bay for the mechs or even to guard an area. It’s a lot but take the time to learn and don’t be hard on yourself. This map is very useful. Again adds to the whole mech simulation of Mechwarrior 5: Clans.

Mechwarrior 5: Clans has 5 player co-op. So you and the crew can all get in there and blow up some mechs together. Mechwarrior 5: Clans getting some work with the latest Unreal Engine. To add more tactics to the combat Mechwarrior 5: Clans has “dynamic destruction”. So shoot the buildings, structures, boxed and whatever to expose enemies, tear down cover and more. Use your head. To this day it’s still satisfying to target and take out a mechs legs for the whole things to come tumbling down.

Mechwarrior 5: Clans forces players to make wise decisions. You can select the missions in the order that you want but you must read them for the details. Maximum tonnage matters, location matters and the type of mission more so than before. For example in the opening missions after complete the first two available missions two more are available but one is too hard for players. Attempting it will lead to failure unless you play super safe and long range. There’s technically an actual order to the missions and players should figure it out. Make sure to do wise purchases and use your merit points to benefit your squad with the repairs.

MechWarrior 5: Clans X35 Earthwalker

Getting your hands on new mechs feels satisfying. Different builds, different tons, different weapon locations etc. All lasers or more ballistic weapons? Then there’s the whole change your weapons, swap things around, replace etc. The problem seems to be the same as Mechwarrior 5: Mercenary. There isn’t enough room and freedom for mech customisation. You have to do so much sacrifice just to add certain weapons. Definitely need more freedom with these mechs.

The mech combat in Mechwarrior 5: Clans is quite punishing. If your weapon is on your right hand, be aware that your right arm can be destroyed in combat, therefore losing your ability to use that weapon. If a leg is destroyed then mobility will be affected. The HUD is loaded with mech information. You can keep track of the mech damage and which parts specifically. Protect yourself for real. Foes sometimes be targeting for real. Annoying but make sense.

Mechwarrior 5: Clans is so far excellent. We aren’t in deep enough yet but there’s msg much more for us to discover and experience. The combat is gun. The variety in missions was interesting and allowed for different pacing. We don’t like how over the top some missions are though. They send so many mechs at you that it becomes an unfair endurance battle. Those aren’t fun. We definitely liking the diversity of characters in the game. People of different ethnicities, which is something that gaming needs. They also handled it right. No forced dumb lessons or anything. They are all people and that’s that. X35 Earthwalker is looking forward to experiencing more. Now Mechwarrior 5: Clan might have excellent mech gameplay but it’s not deep perfected enough for… the ‘Earth Walk!’

X35 Earthwalker Mech Armada

Mech Armada is a tactical turn based game developed and published by ‘Lioncode games‘. Mech Armada is said to be coming out the 8th of December 2022 on the Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PS5 and PS4. It’s already out on pc though. X35 Earthwalker is the best turn based strategy gamer in the world. Hopefully Mech Armada is good enough. Let’s take a look.

Mech Armada is all about putting players in control of mechs made for battle. These mechs are custom built and players are involved in them being built. There’s a whole roster of these mechs for you to build and off course upgrade. There’s said to be over 80 different parts. No mechs are the same as they have their own weaknesses and strengths.

X35 Earthwalker Mech Armada

Weapons? Let’s talk about it. The arsenal of weapons is what you’d expect from a variety of mechs. There’s guns, big guns, missile launchers, ray guns, flamethrowers and even fighter drones. Makes you wonder what else is available. Don’t forget that Mech Armada is turned based. So you know the function of these weapons will play around that. Costs, cool down, range, drawbacks etc. The campaign is described as rougelike. When you die, it’s final. You have to start again. It’s randomly generated. This means you’ll get new random encounters and mech parts. So yeah, make sure you have the ability to work with what you got.

X35 Earthwalker Mech Armada

There’s going to be battles for sure but your’re going up against the swarm. At the end of each area, you will face the major bosses of the swarm. They have been described as “massive, ugly and ridiculously tough.” Resource management is key in games like this. Either get good at this or fail every time. Now concerning the enemies we do wonder about a number of things. How difficult will the battles be. Will they be better balanced and controlled than Phoenix Point? We hope so. Here’s what the official website said “Understanding your enemy and anticipating their actions… observing the terrain ahead of you will determine your success.” Interesting.

We checked out some Mech Armada gameplay and it’s what we expected. We hear you can create thousands of unique combinations when it comes to the mechs. Every run will be different. They said “All the gameplay elements (monsters, maps, resources and rewards) are randomly combined and balanced ensuring no two battles are the same.” The areas will be different. The areas do look sort of after apocalypse type event. desert wastelands, busted up places and the areas just outside ruined cities. What’s also really nice is the auto save. Just makes things easier for gamers and puts our minds more at ease.

Overall Mech Armada looks like a nice game. We like the colours and the look of the game. The animations of the mechs are weak though. We also wanted more impact of the weapons when it hits enemies. There’s lots of options and the random generated factor adds to replayability and layers. We like to see it. We hope the enemies have certain behaviours but hope certain combinations raise the difficulty naturally. The developers ‘Lioncode games’ have done a nice job from what we can see. We at X35 Earthwalker will keep an ear open for this game. Now Mech Armada may have mechs vs swarms but that war is little league compare to… the ‘Earth Walk!’

X35 Earthwalker MechWarriors 5: Mercenaries

MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries is an awesome game from the amount we have played so far. MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries is an xbox exclusive. It’s a action mech simulation game where yo control different mechs and battle against other machines, vehicles and mechs in many missions. We haven’t played that long but sports far yes, this game is awesome. So we wanted to say a bit about this. Let’s take a look.

Firstly we must explain that MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries wasn’t exactly what we thought it would be. We got some stuff wrong. We thought there was a multiplayer where players faced off and you had to earn the means to deploy and use mechs in the battlefield. That part was wrong. We were right about everything else though. The vehicles, aircrafts, mechs, battles and there is a co-op mode where you can play and work with others in the missions using the mechs and pilots the main player has available. We do hope they work on a straight up multiplayer battle mode.

X35 Earthwalker MechWarriors 5: Mercenaries

We at X35 Earthwalker already produced a gameplay video of MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries. It contained the tutorial which had quite a bit of action. Wow have since then gotten way better at the game, acquired multiple mechs, got two pilots and travelled around quite a bit. There is quite a bit to do but doesn’t feel like it though. In the earlier parts of the game you feel restricted. Your first big mech the ‘Centurion’ has weapons that you can’t really change. We got new weapons but the mech isn’t able to wield them. What a mech can use is based on their design. We got a new mech which is smaller and weaker and it can hold the new weapons but one at a time. The customisation of MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries needs to be stepped up. There’s a weight limit for each mech, so players better not cross that limit. We want more freedom with the mechs.

Now that’s also a big plus about MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries. Its very realistic. Your mechs having weight. The design of the mech dictates what it can be equipped with. Repairs and equipment swapping takes days to complete. Also, your mech can lose parts and limbs if damaged too much. You can even lose a whole weapon forever if for example the arm it was on got blown off. How realistic MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries is is a strong positive. You haver details and lots of information on your screen. Your HUD is loaded like it would be controlling a giant combat mech. Even the controls are so weird. The MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries controls aren’t bad… but they are very weird. You control the bottom half of the mech and the top half separately. So you control the legs to go where you want, change direction, build up speed and even brake when needed while you control the top half to adjust your view and aim… all at the same time! It isn’t easy. You need to practice, unless you are X35 Earthwalker (which you ain’t) who is the greatest gamer ever and gets use to it almost instantly.

X35 Earthwalker MechWarriors 5: Mercenaries

Once you are on the battle field things get real in MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries. You will encounter stationary defences, small vehicles like tanks which can be equipped to do different things like artillery, long range harassment or close range damage, aircrafts with heavy weapons, and off course mechs who are the biggest threats. The others are straightforward to fight but mechs have options. You can target the limbs or parts of mechs for different effects. Taking out a mechs leg will prevent it from moving. Destroying an arm would off course prevent it from firing whatever weapon was carried on that arm. If you straight up destroy the head/cockpit then you kill them in the fastest way possible. It’s tactical. You need to pick your fights. Decide whether to fight close up or keep your distance. Never be outnumbered in a mech fight. So bring allies. When you bring in ally pilots you can actually have a squad on a mission but be careful… they can die as well and that means you lose them. Pilots over time with successful missions can get stronger. So losing a veteran pilot is a big loss. Keep them alive in MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries.

We have lots to say about MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries but that’s all for now. We are happy to play more and hopefully get more options as we progress. By the way, the mech market sucks all kinds of crap. They never have anything good in there. Super expensive garbage. We at X35 Earthwalker hope the developer eventually brings out a full fledged multiplayer battle mode. Now MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries may have advanced big mechs but those things would all be destroyed by… the ‘Earth Walk!’

X35 Earthwalker MechWarriors 5: Mercenaries

MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries is a new action simulation game developed and published by ‘Piranha Games‘. MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries is said to be coming out May 27th 2021 on the Xbox Series X and Xbox One. It’s already out on PC though. So this does count as an xbox exclusive (or xbox console exclusive). Giant mechs with serious firepower sounds good to us. Let’s take a look.

MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries is all about the giant mechs for sure. Here’s the story. It’s the year 3015. Thousands of star systems have been colonised. This system is what’s called the ‘Inner Sphere’. This vast space. You are a mercenary. You inherited a mercenary company which use to be something special and big. It nearly got destroyed by other factions. You out here looking for revenge and glory. So travel across the stars and blow up some stuff.

MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries has lots of mechanical combat and destruction. So you can expect ground vehicles tanks and off course other mechs.  There are aircrafts so make sure your aim is good. There’s bases with advanced defenses. There’s a number of things to fight and all will guarantee some explosions and big battles. Remember that MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries is also described as a strategy game. So don’t try to just run out there guns blazing thinking you’ll be okay. You won’t. Unless you play on the baby difficulties.

There’s a campaign yes but there’s more to MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries. There’s an instant action system where you can customise and start your own battles. Like how you can set up matches in Supreme Commander 2 to just play for fun. There’s also 4 player co-op too so you can bring others into the battle to maximise the destruction. Games that have co-op automatically gain more approval points from us. Games to play with others is such a great feature.

We checked out some MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries gameplay and it’s not what we expected. It’s more detailed than we thought. We like the information on the heads up display. We like how the visor shakes and moves a bit as you stomp around. You can equip and be prepared for close to even long range combat. We wonder how many types of mess there are for players to control and if there’s any modifications and adjustments to movement speed and mobility. We have numerous questions concerning the mechs though. From what we have seen though, things do look very cool.

Overall MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries looks like a very good game. Have very little detail on the campaign though. MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries coming to the Xbox was a smart move as now we hear about it. The graphics look very good. The details on the mech parts and customisation is very good for sure. The developers ‘Piranha Games’ have done a good job with this game. We at X35 Earthwalker will have to see what this game truly has to offer. This is now the second mech xbox exclusive game on the way. Exciting times. Now MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries have futuristic heavy weapon mechs but even those can be blasted away by… the ‘Earth Walk!’
