X35 Earthwalker The Ascent

The Ascent is an excellent game. Straight out the gate let’s just say this. We at X35 Earthwalker enjoyed The Ascent. This game was a lot of fun. We recommend this game to multiple people but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t have any flaws. It does. Let’s jump in this quick review by X35 Earthwalker.

The Ascent is an action role playing game where you control an indent. What’s an indent? Basically a slave. Indents are owned by either a person or company or organisation. If you want to know more, then read our first gaming blog post about The Ascent. Simply put you are at the bottom in this world with many others but aim to make it to the top. Players should be prepared for a lot of fire fights, explosives and chaos wherever you go.

As you can see from our first The Ascent gameplay video you get a good idea of what’s going on. Very futuristic, very sad and dark though in terms of the universe you are in. There’s machines, robotic enemies and beings, human enemies and even what looks like wild creatures. We like the different enemy types but are disappointed by the lack of variety amongst the enemies. For example when it comes to the wild creatures like the feral, that’s all we have. Just the ferals and maybe the papa ferals who are just bigger ferals who have additional abilities. There’s no other wild creatures. When it comes to the human enemies they are basically all the same but with different weapons and act differently based on those weapons. The humanoid beings have some sort of variety. Even the robotic enemies are basically the same. That was lame. We needed more variety. This game had the room and environment for such a thing.

What The Ascent did very well though was that the enemies put up a fight. Some enemies will always run to cover to fight. They fire over the top and can’t be hit unless you flank them. There’s melee equipped enemies who rush you and try to get some swings in. There’s a bigger dude who fires semi homing missiles but that’s it though. The most variety goes to the humanoid, the aliens of different races. There’s a massive creature with a hammer reminding us of brutes from with gravity hammers from Halo. Their heavy big swing doesn’t make sense because you could be far away and you still get hurt. Seems a bit glitchy to us. There’s a small annoying enemy that acts like the support. Will run in and set p either a stationary artillery or healing zone. Another one acts is a serious hacker that can mess with your systems, disable you, send a drone after you and even shield its allies (your enemies) from all forms of harm and more. You have to disable them with your hacking ICE abilities. The robotic enemies behave exactly like the human enemies, either ranged or melee but they tend to have more energy weapons. So yeah, throw more exciting enemy variety in.

There are quite a number of characters here is some good flavour. Noghead is a cool dude. He is basically one off those super hackers who can listen in on conversations, extract information from basically anything, bug and plant anything, hack through things and more. He got a hideout, secret set up defence turrets. He got jokes too. Very good character. Then there’s the trash the game… kira. We hate her so much. She thinks she superior to everyone because of the species that she is. she talks heavily down to humans and makes it clear she believes humans are stupid. What’s worse is that we end up having no choice but to work for her. She is so obnoxious, annoying and ugly that we couldn’t wait to kill her. She isn’t a good person either. She steals property, killed a lot, caused destruction and all for her personal goals. Bit more on this later. Characters like Poon make sense, we get his motivation and why he is the way that he is. Simply put, most characters are cool and fit in this world well and make sense. There’s only like two characters that suck… one of them being kira.

The best and coolest thing about The Ascent is definitely the weapons. This is the best part about the game easily. There’s so many weapons. There’s sooooo many weapons. Not as much as Earth Defence Force 2025… nothing has that much! There’s rifles, automatic weapons, heavy and light pistols, sub machine guns, rocket launchers, sniper rifles, shotguns and more, including special weapons like a flamethrower, a buzzsaw launcher, constant energy beam and other crazy stuff. The weapons are serious. They aren’t trash either. X35 Earthwalker has multiple times, no actually constantly been switching weapons to fight enemies. Mainly not because it was more effective against enemy types but because it was fun. Again the weapons aren’t trash. All of them are useable. Some off course are better than others… much better, but all especially when upgraded become effective. WE literally swapped for fun and variety. Many games need to learn from The Ascent when it comes to weapons. Make a bunch of weapons, multiple of each type but make them all good with clear advantages to some over others. It can be done. There was a strong hitting rifle that had explosive rounds. There was even Diamondz L45’s dream weapon, a mini shotgun. No, not a small shotgun. A mini gun + a shotgun. It has a very low rate of fire at first but then fires fast like a minigun but each shot is a shotgun with very tight spread though. The Ascent went all out with weapons and we love that.

The augmentations shake things up a lot in The Ascent. They are basically abilities you install in yourself. You could do an energy punch which has some area of effect. You can summon a bunch of mechanical spiders that chase down, pounce on enemies to explode. You can create a life link with enemies and when you damage them, you heal. Call in razor bat like mechs that surround you damaging any who get near you. Do a stomp that freezes and launches enemies in the air with stasis. Jump at enemies with an explosive fiery landing. Even summon mechs who follow you around and fire at enemies, or if it’s the melee mechs then get they get physical with enemies. You can even summon a huge mech armour that you get into. It has a huge mini gun and tons of armour. It’s better than the power armour in Fallout. X35 Earthwalker obtained every augmentation in the game and most except two are good. Some like the one that resets your health to the point of activation are clearly the best. You can truly mix things up and when combined with passive boosters and certain weapons. We created our own combos to handle whatever the game throws at us. For example if robotic enemies show up, we have a build for them since ballistic rounds do way less damage to them so you need energy weapons. We use the augmentation that converts all damage into data damage which robotic enemies are vulnerable too. We won’t give away our whole combos.

X35 Earthwalker The Ascent

Now for the worst part of the game. The ending. It sucked. We don’t believe the good guys should always win and there’s peace in the land. Spoilers in case you haven’t beaten the game yet. The character we hate the most wins in the end. Yeah Kira gets what she wanted, all that power, money and control. All the time while we were under her command we wanted and desired to kill her. She is evil and we hate her, yet she lives and wins. We know she’s powerful as we saw her one shot that large mechanical spider enemy, so she isn’t a wuss and got powerful technology but we were ready to face her. We got powerful augmentations, crazy weapons and maxed out stats, ready to fight her but that never happens. Noghead came in clutch which was perfect as it make sense for a master hacking technology guy like him to do what he did but other from that, the ending sucks. We weren’t happen. We need to kill kira but the game said no. It feels like we got no where in The Ascent which was seriously disappointing.

Overall The Ascent is an excellent game with a few problems. Facing tons of enemies and multiple encounters while travelling is annoying but killing enemies helps you level up, so it’s needed. The trains allow for fast travel and they do their job well and heal you as a bonus. We wish the maps where easier to read when it comes to upper and lower areas as it’s not clear, especially in the Corp zone. The locations and environments work well for a sad depressing futuristic place. We like how the pinnacle isa above the clouds, natural light and beautiful while the deep stink is all death, grime, stink and death. Almost a whole heaven and hell thing going on. Truly shows the difference class makes in the world. It’s free on xbox game pass and it’s worth playing for sure. This is a more quick review so don’t expect us to dive into all the details as there is more to say. Now The Ascent may have numerous crazy weapons but those weapons are nothing compared to… the ‘Earth Walk!’

X35 Earthwalker Hell Let Loose

Hell Let Loose is a World War 2 first person shooter multiplayer game developed by ‘Black Matter‘ and published by ‘Team17‘. Hell Let Loose is said to be coming out Xbox Series X, PS5 and PC on the 5th of October 2021. Hell Let Loose has to offer a lot to get our interest. There’s a lot of war games. Let’s take a look.

Hell Let Loose is suppose to be the World War 2 style. So expect old sandbags, expect old guns, expect old tanks, cheap helmets and stuff like that. Hell Let Loose is big 100 player battles. 50 vs 50. So these are big battles for sure. Players will be everywhere. Seems like Hell Let Loose wants to truly represent World War 2. They did say “You’ve never played World War 2 the way it was meant to be played”. So already gave themselves something to be measured by.

X35 Earthwalker Hell Let Loose

We know that Infantry, artillery and tanks are the main forces here in Hell Let Loose. These matter greatly. We also know that Hell Let Loose is also about strategic resource management too. This hasn’t been explained much but we can imagine that players will have limited resources to spend on tanks, types of troops and off course artillery. So there must be the ability to earn resources too or maybe it’s handed out in time. We have our own questions and need to learn some stuff before the interest can build.

We checked out some Hell Let Loose gameplay and it’s what we expected from a World War 2 multiplayer game. Old style, straight up fights gameplay. We like how the explosions look from bombing runs and artillery. Those look good. It seems like players die real fast in this game which would make sense. Like the old ghost recon game where you died from a bullet or two. Soldiers charging in, tanks on tank violence, using rocket launchers and covering fire. Just looks like another war game so far.

Overall Hell Let Loose just looks like another war game. There are multiple big war games with big battles like battle royal and big open battlefields. We definitely need to see more and get more information concerning Hell Let Loose. We want huge battles with tactical might. Tanks need be legit game changers and multiple troop types to handle different situations like vehicles. Will there be call in abilities? The developers ‘Black Matter’ have done an alright job so far. Now Hell Let Loose may have 50 vs 50 gameplay but those numbers aren’t enough for… the ‘Earth Walk!’

X35 Earthwalker Centipede: Recharged

Centipede: Recharged is an arcade retro game developed by ‘Adamvision Studios‘ and ‘SneakyBox‘ and published by ‘Atari‘. Centipede: Recharged is said to be coming out the 29th of September 2021 on the Xbox Series X, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PS5, PS4 and PC. Those horrible insects are back. We got to blast them. Let’s take a look.

Centipede: Recharged is an old school game brought back basically. Remember those fast moving long centipedes that tried to make its way towards you? Well it’s happening again. Seriously? Who likes centipede? They are horrible creatures with a nasty and dangerous bite. They are fast and have harmed people. So we should blast them. So yeah, that’s what Centipede: Recharged is about. Dangerous centipedes are coming your way and you need to blast them but in modern fashion.

X35 Earthwalker Centipede: Recharged

As you can obviously see, Centipede: Recharged is modernised. There’s new visuals, new animations and off course some special effects and particle effects. Just think about what they did with Pac-Man Championship Edition 2 and some space invader games. It’s basically a remastering of the old classic games. Same thing basically but everything looks better and hopefully controls better. So those who are a fan of the original Centipede should automatically like Centipede: Recharged.

Yes we are aware that there are other bugs too like spiders and a scorpion but clearly the main enemies are centipedes and plus it’s the name of the game so give us a break here. We like the fact that local co-op play is here too. More games need these options. Good job Centipede: Recharged. So work together with a friend or family and crush those horrible bugs together. Two blasters are better than one… unless you are the one getting blasted. So remember that.

X35 Earthwalker Centipede: Recharged

We checked out some Centipede: Recharged gameplay and it’s mostly what we expected. There’s challenges too. Well 30 of them. There’s an endless arcade mode too. So there is some replayability in there. We also spotted some power ups. That’s right, this isn’t the same Centipede you use to know. There’s power ups effects like bombing in a row, side shots and even scaring enemies away. There’s more too so it will be interesting to see what others do.

Overall Centipede looks like another nice modernised classic game. A simple job that so far looks done right. Again, if you liked centipede then you will most likely like Centipede: Recharged. It looks good but we expect more though. The developers ‘Adamvision Studios‘ and ‘SneakyBox‘ have done an alright job so far. We at X35 Earthwalker like what we see but expect more though. Now Centipede: Recharged might have dangerous bugs but those get easily crushed by.. the ‘Earth Walk!’

X35 Earthwalker Hot Wheels Unleashed

Hot Wheels Unleashed is a racing arcade game developed and published by ‘Milestone s.r.l‘. Hot Wheels Unleashed is said top be coming out the 30th of September 2021 on the Xbox Series X, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PS5, PS4 and PC. Hot Wheels Unleashed is here to bring the heat. Let’s take a look.

Hot Wheels Unleashed doesn’t need any explanation really. We all should know what Hot Wheels is. The racing car toy brand. They have many cars, released many tracks and the like. Many children were excited for Hot Wheels. Having the cars jump across tracks, go down big hills, go too fast around a corner and fly off the tracks and more. Basically it’s a video game now. Players can control the actually toy designed cars and race in Hot Wheel designed looking tracks. So yeah, you should know what to expect now.

X35 Earthwalker Hot Wheels Unleashed

What’s really good about Hot Wheels Unleashed is that players can build their own tracks. If this feature wasn’t in the game, we would not pay any mind to this game. Building your own tracks had to be in Hot Wheels Unleashed. The tracks can even have Hot Wheels styled features and props. You can have mechanical beings like giant spiders and even a dragon head that can hinder the other racers by either trapping them in sticky web or crushing them in their jaws. So these tracks can get real crazy.

We checked out some Hot Wheels Unleashed gameplay and it’s what we expected. When building  your tracks, everything in the environment can be a part of the track. Stage objects mixed with track modules brings new possibilities. There’s split screen multiplayer. Two player split screen is a thing but you can also face up to 12 players in line races. So the action is definitely available here. We like that there’s drifting to handle those corners. The overall speed of the game seems to slow though. Maybe their target audience is primarily children and youngsters so they don’t want the game too difficult but the speed looked lame to us. There does look like there’s drift speed boosts and a lot of speed pads to make you go faster but it doesn’t look like much of a speed boost. We will have to wait and see. Yes we are aware it was pre-alpha footage so it can change. We hope it changes.

Overall Hot Wheels Unleashed seems like a good game so far but nothing special or great at all. We need to see more. This could be a real cool racing game. We need loads of environments like race tracks over the ocean and have the backgrounds and environments alive with creatures and nature etc. They might be going for the racing at home feel like with the actual toys but we need that creativity. The developers ‘Milestone s.r.l‘ have done an alright job so far. We at X35 Earthwalker will have to hear what Hot Wheels Unleashed can do. Now Hot Wheels Unleashed may have actual toy cars but it has no effect on… the ‘Earth Walk!’

X35 Earthwalker Halo Infinite multiplayer

Halo Infinite is absolutely fantastic. We at X35 Earthwalker love Halo and have always been excited for Halo Infinite. We loved Halo 5 Guardians and reviewed it fairly. Many so called Halo fans were talking about doubts and worries. Such nonsense. 343 Industries have worked hard on all their games. We never doubted Halo Infinite. With all the game engines today, technology that we have and the new next gen consoles like Xbox Series X, which is the most powerful by the way, we can produce the most the most graphically impressive, features and mechanic filled games with top level performance. We are happy so far.

X35 Earthwalker Halo Infinite multiplayer

It’s Halo, so off course X35 Earthwalker will talk about it. Except we aren’t losers who all rush for views and stuff. We stick to our plans and do things our way. X35 Earthwalker will take over from here. I watched all the gameplay and more concerning Halo Infinite’s Multiplayer and I can say right off the bat that it’s absolutely amazing. The pacing is sort of hard to tell but it looks like a good speed. No drastic changes there. The customisation has been expanded and upgraded. You can customise: Armour core, Gloves, Coating, left & right shoulder, Visor, Helmet, Kneepads and gloves. That’s more categories than what Halo Reach had. There’s even weapon customisation too. I am happy about that one. How in-depth does it go? It won’t be anything big but nice touches that just makes it your own. So already there’s clearly new things and more to do. By the way Halo Infinite is developed by ‘343 Industries‘ and published by ‘Xbox Game Studios‘.

The multiplayer is more in-depth than ever before. There’s more mechanics. For example you can target and damage specific parts of the vehicle. You can destroy the tires which makes controlling the vehicle far more difficult. You can destroy the hood of the car and damage the engine. There’s a doomsday state for a vehicle where it basically means the vehicle will explode soon so either get out or use it to go out with a bang. There’s a new warthog like vehicle called the razorback which has the means to carry weapons, objectives, ripped off turrets and more on the back. The designs of some of the vehicles like the warthog and the banshee has a new design and they’d look more high tech compared to their previous design. The Banshee makes sense as it’s suppose to be the banished Banshee. We did see the VK78 Commando Tactical Rifle in action and it seems to hit quite hard. Feels more like an automatic DMR but obviously less damage per shot. There are new designs for the weapons too, so keep an eye out for the spankr rocket launcher.

X35 Earthwalker Halo Infinite multiplayer

Yes! Sprint is in the game and rightfully so. Spartans are super soldiers who run all the time… off course they should sprint. The grapple hook thing is here and has a significant role in the Halo Infinite Multiplayer. You can hook enemies to pull yourself towards them. This is useful for a melee kill, sword or hammer. You can use it for mobility like to get to certain places faster or harder to reach places. Like elevation advantage. You can also use it to grab and pull weapons to you as well. Grab the sword, the power weapon like a rocket launcher and more. I even saw it be used to get to a flying vehicle so you can hijack it. On top of that we are seeing what I can describe as equipment and spartan abilities. You can set up fields that block ballistic rounds. Sort of reminds me of the style of use of equipment in Halo 3. There seems to be an energy reflect spartan ability. In the gameplay the Spartan raised his arm and reflected back a charge plasma pistol shot at the shooter which connected, allowing for an easy kill.

I checked out more Halo Infinite multiplayer gameplay and it’s for the most part what we expected. It looks awesome, sounds very good, new weapons, more in-game mechanics, more abilities, more details and more customisations. We there are unlockables. Like how there was in Gears of War 3. You earn things through playing the game. There are battle passes for players to buy and work on. There is even an academy which is for training purposes. Work on your shots, warm up before going online and more which is an excellent idea. It’s more advanced than the training area in Apex Legends. There’s a lot to analyse but we are keeping things simple for now. We have off course included both Halo Infinite Multiplayer videos in this G-blog.

Overall Halo Infinite’s multiplayer looks phenomenal. Off course I will have to see how things go when we actually play it. I will have to check the weapon balancing, vehicle strength balancing, how frequently do vehicles and weapons get dropped into the battle and much more. Halo Infinite is going to be the best game of the next couple of years easily. There’s so much more that can be done as well. Now Halo Infinite may have a serious and fantastic multiplayer but ti would have been much bette if its development was led by… the ‘Earth Walk!’

X35 Earthwalker Kitaria Fables

Kitaria Fables is an action adventure role playing game with farming elements. It’s developed by ‘Twin Hearts‘ and published by ‘PQube‘. Kitaria Fables isa said to be coming out the 3rd September 2021 on the Xbox Series X, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PS5, PS4 and PC. Don’t let Kitaria Fables fool you. This is a serious game. Let’s take a look.

Kitaria Fables is set in the world of Kitaria where animals behave like people. Walking around, talking, got jobs, are soldiers etc. You’re in Paw village where you are… farming. Farming? That doesn’t sound like a hardened tough warrior for an adventure but hey it’s a job. So yes, you do farming, you attend to and grow your crops for money and survival. You also can get ingredients for cooking and meals. There’s crafting elements in Kitaria Fables too. Kitaria Fables is an action adventure game with Role playing games and farming elements. Sounds very interesting. We like it.

X35 Earthwalker Kitaria Fables

Kitaria Fables is a big adventure remember. There’s an actual danger and threat to the world of Kitaria. There’s a growing darkness. The areas around Paw Village are getting “increasingly hostile.” In fact the empire has actually called you to investigate. So clearly we are more than just farmers. You will travel the world and reach various different locations. Expect to come across and dive into forests, mountains, swamps and even deserts. We do like the variety but hope they stand out well. So explore to find and discover new characters who can be friends and of course new gear and weapons. Speaking of weapons.

X35 Earthwalker Kitaria Fables

There are real weapons in Kitaria Fables. Melee weapons like swords are here and we have seen a few designs. Some look cool. There’s projectile weapons too like bows. There are spells too. You can freeze enemies to restrict their movements or maybe take a dangerous enemy out of the equation. Maybe just burn your enemies for that additional damage. We know there’s more spells to acquire and weapons which means more options for combat styles.

What’s interesting for us at X35 Earthwalker is what kind of enemies does Kitaria Fables have. From what we have seen there’s humanoid or should we say animaloid enemies. Animals that wield weapons like bows and melee. So maybe there’s different armies that you need to watch out for. In the forest area there are shield bugs. This shows the areas have their own unique enemies. We did see a forest golem which was the coolest thing so far. After all magic is in Kitaria Fables so magical or mystical beings like golems makes sense.

X35 Earthwalker Kitaria Fables

What’s really awesome though is that Kitaria Fables has local co-op! Something more games NEED to HAVE! This means double damage, double attacks and equipping yourselves in such a way as to compliment each other. One can focus on freezing while the other can burn enemies instead. So yeah, grab your friend, or family and… well… water crops together… right?

We checked some Kitaria Fables gameplay and it’s what we expected. It gives us an animal crossing feeling for sure… but except there’s actual combat, monsters etc. We like that after your big dangerous adventure, you come back to a quiet simple farming. We hope to see more of what Kitaria has to offer. The graphics are good for what it is and what design this game is going for.

Overall Kitaria Fables looks like a very good game. Definitely deceptive at first appearance but it’s a real adventure game. Real weapons, real story, a real enemy/threat and many characters all with your own plots of land to do what you do best… farming. We like the cute but serious design that Kitaria Fables has. The developers ‘Twin Hearts’ have done a very good job with this game. We at X35 Earthwalker look forward to seeing Kitaria Fables come out. Now Kitaria Fables may be cute but that doesn’t fool… the ‘Earth Walk!’

X35 Earthwalker Dying Light 2: Stay Human

Dying Light 2: Stay Human is a action adventure first person shooter game developed and published by ‘Techland‘. Dying Light 2: Stay Human is said to be coming out the 7th of December 2021 on Xbox Series X, PS5 and PC. Dying Light 2: Stay Human has a big number of gamers looking out for it. So what’s new? Let’s take a look.

Dying Light 2: Stay Human is set in a place called ‘the city’. Is this Harran? Not clear but it could be. We know that the events in Harran were over 20 years ago. Basically the virus completely won and it’s ruined the whole world. The city is one of the last places left for humans. Even in such a serious doomed situation, humanity still wants to fight each other and be evil scum bags, instead of working together. Typical right? But hey, we can still run, jump, swing and parkour our troubles away. Players control a guy called Adan Coldwell (last name most likely is wrong) who basically wants answers concerning his past. He ends up in this city.

X35 Earthwalker Dying Light 2: Stay Human

Come on everyone. It’s Dying Light. We all should know what to expect at this point. There’s going to be zombies, some form of super mutated creatures and violent humans as enemies. In Dying Light 1 there was those super mutated that came after you at night and was a real problem. So we expect Dying Light 2: Stay Human to have an even worst super mutated enemy otherwise Dying Light 2: Stay Human would be a fail by default. We can also expect parkour, running, jumping, swinging, sliding and pulling yourself up ledges etc. Dying Light was already serious so we expect more for this big sequel. So what will they do?

We have seen the three factions in the city and this is how you know the humans here and are stupid. There’s the ‘survivors’ who build many safe zones and are very adaptable to whatever situation that comes their way. ‘peace keepers’ who are basically;ly soldiers who are want to create, keep and enforce law… even on those who don’t agree. ‘renegades’ are basically ex prisoners who want total dominance and control over the whole city. It’s clear who sucks and who seems more normal. ‘Renegades’ are dangerous criminals, ‘peace keepers’ are dictators and ‘survivors’ just sound like people who want to live. We aren’t impressed with the three groups but we do like that they are clearly distinguishable from each other by their uniforms. We have high expectations for Dying Light 2: Stay Humans.

X35 Earthwalker Dying Light 2: Stay Human

We checked out some Dying Light 2: Stay Human and it’s what we expected which isn’t a good thing here. Sure they polished some stuff like deflecting and blocking. You can dash to evade and dodge attacks. There’s mechanisms like jump pads for extra height. The ability to roll on landing to reduce damage, fast swapping and use of items, weapons and crafted stuff. The combat is much better and way faster. We like the dangers of sneaking into nests to get some rewarding goodies but you have to be patient, quiet and keep cool. Huge risk (so they say) but big reward. There’s more to do and there’s more layers to the features in the game which is all very good. We didn’t care about Dying Light 1 and haven’t seen anything to make us care about Dying Light 2: Stay Human.

Overall Dying Light 2: Stay Human seems like a very good game but we aren’t excited. We wanted more. We wanted something different added in as well. Dying Light 2: Stay Human does look fun and clearly better than the first game. We like what we see. We like that there’s parachuting, basically, to help traverse around the city at least from great heights. There’s quite a bit to talk about but we will keep this short. The developers ‘Techlands’ have done a very good job with this game. We at X35 Earthwalker will have to just hear what happens with Dying Light 2: Stay Human. Now Dying Light 2: Stay Human might have the city but even it isn’t good enough for… the ‘Earth Walk!’

X35 Earthwalker Second Extinction Rosy

Second extinction is an awesome game. We at X35 Earthwalker love it, spend many hours in it, both solo and with random players. It’s best played with others but you can still go at it solo if you are a mad man/woman or you are super brilliant like X35 Earthwalker himself, but for you the reader it’s most likely the former. Just saying. Stop being triggered and read this thing. We have a few quick things to discuss here and it’s mainly about what others have said or done concerning Second Extinction. By the way we will do our own review as well. Let’s take a look.

Firstly we want to trash talk a lot of gaming websites that have the laziest low intelligence bum writers. Whoever runs their websites should quit. They suck. Here’s why we say this. X35 Earthwalker one day wanted to see other peoples opinions concerning who the best character in Second Extinction is and why. Normal stuff. He goes online and sees a website with terrible and inaccurate information concerning the weapons and characters. He goes to the next website and funnily enough that site has the exact same text as the previous sites. He went to another site and it also had the exact same ‘copy & paste’ text as the previous two. How lazy and lame must you be to just copy and paste the WHOLE thing. We ain’t pathetic wusses like many youtubers, we are giving the names. Here’s just some: gamepretty, gamesgds, steamlists, gamesutra, gameplaylists, gameplay, steamah and guiasteam. Sure these sites are small and not very good at all but there were real easy to find when searching for the best character in Second Extinction.

X35 Earthwalker hates bad gaming websites X35 Earthwalker hates bad gaming websites

Above are just two screenshots of the text. We have screenshots of all the websites but this is just the text on the part about Rosy. The whole thing about all the characters is exactly the same. The one on the right (steamlists) adds one more sentence but everything else is still copy and paste. We will have to write our own character tips and ranking of them for you guys since as you can see others are useless at it. The problem isn’t only the copy and pasting but how bad the information is about Second Extinction. They claim that the minigun isn’t always the best thing. We have played for hours and used Rosy the most. There statement is false. The minigun is the best weapon always. It’s damage isn’t low, it truly shreds enemies as it should be. It’s powerful without the upgrades. Without any upgrades the minigun beats all other weapons.

X35 Earthwalker Second Extinction Minigun

When weapons are upgraded, the gap gets smaller but the minigun is still the best. The overheat isn’t a problem since the weapon cools down fast and there are upgrades that let you use the overheat to your advantage. For example there’s an upgrade that as your minigun gets hot, your bullets inflict fire damage and sets dinosaurs on fire. There’s another upgrade that when you completely overheat you release a powerful area of effect flame blast that damages and sets enemies on fire all around you. So overheating isn’t bad now. They said you need to “keep feeding it ammunition.” Duh! Well obviously. All guns you need to feed with ammo. No ammo means you can’t shoot. So that’s stupid of them to say that. Lastly the image on the right says that “it can be hard to hit smaller ones”. No it isn’t hard to hit smaller dinosaurs. With the high rate of fire it’s easy to hit them.

X35 Earthwalker Second Extinction Rosy

Lastly we want to discuss what it said about Rosy as that’s just as bad as what they said on the minigun. They said Rosy’s abilities are lackluster. What?! Do we forget about how Rosy be standing in the middle of a horde of dinosaurs and be destroying them all and surviving at the same time? No character can do that. The passive ability is not “negligible”. That passive ability helps keep you alive and saves you on med kits. If you don’t lose a whole health block, you will regenerate it back. That means you can save med kits until you truly need it. Other characters can’t do anything about their health. Remember you only can hold a maximum of 3 med kits in Second Extinction. The static barricades are easy to place and use and make a huge difference in a fight against a horde of dinosaurs. The developers need to improve responsiveness of controls though. Switching to grenades and placing static barricades suffer from bad responsiveness here. Lastly they said the “regen/buff ability might save you in a pinch, but not always”. Sure, true but of the original characters, Rosy has the best chance of saving your life. Your health gets low, activate Rosy’s ultimate ability and you get full health even when being attacked. It’s very strong. It also heals your team too. Her abilities are far from lack luster.

Overall this stuff from these terrible gaming sites is sad and embarrassing for them. It was also bad information too. We have to do our own review of Second Extinction with information, tips, and more. Actual god information. More proof that X35 Earthwalker is the best in all the realm. Second Extinction is an awesome game. So keep your eyes out for more X35 Earthwalker Second Extinction content. Now Second Extinction has terrible reviewers but you will find much better content from… the ‘Earth Walk!’

X35 Earthwalker Warden Gears 5

Gears 5 has another huge problem caused by the developers, ‘The Coalition’. This is terrible as Horde mode is the best thing about Gears 5 currently. Versus isn’t fun. We already spoke about the problems with versus and so won’t echo it here. This is about the Horde mode. Yes we are aware of the changes coming in the next content drop and what changes are coming to certain horde classes. That has it’s own problems too but that’s for another time. Let’s take a look.

Now Horde has a big new problem that we noticed for some time now and it’s completely turned us off of horde. When you get to wave 8-12 the game will sometimes throw in a ‘Random Warden’. We call it a random warden because it feels random even though there is most likely a pattern. The problem here is that it makes everything so much harder and ruins everything for the most part. First of all who’s the guy or person who said that Horde on inconceivable difficulty wasn’t hard enough? Who was the guy who requested or suggested adding a ‘Random Warden’ to spice things up? Idiot! Many players like X35 Earthwalker (obviously not as good as X35) play with random players so the amount of team work we have is considerably less. Dealing with a warden is more of a teamwork thing, not a solo thing.

X35 Earthwalker Gears 5 Horde

If you don’t have the right horde classes on your team, then beating a warden becomes a massive problem. The blade master is an easy counter but most players aren’t blade masters. The Warden most of the time sprints straight towards you and requires attention while the horde pushes on you. X35 Earthwalker as a gunner was holding down the entire left hand side of the map all by himself… after all he is the best Gears 5 player in the world. Hie entire team was on the right fighting at the base. Warden shows up in the wave. Eventually X35 see’s the downed symbol of a teammate, then two downed, then someone executed. X35 can’t go over there because he’s facing DR-1 oppressors, annihilators, and numerous enemies. Soon only one guy was left alive over there. Then X35 was the sole survivor. Then almost solo-ed the entire horde by himself while being chased by a warden. By the way, the survivor modifiers was on for that horde frenzy meaning if the whole team dies, it’s all over. That wasn’t fun. No one on the right side of the map had the actual means to beat that warden by the looks of it. All four got folded… like hoes. That’s not fun. We even in another match had two bosses show up which is normal but they got joined by a warden. Why?!! Who’s dumb idea is this. Once again the coalition has no idea what they are doing.

X35 Earthwalker horde modifiers Gears 5

Next issue is the some of the modifiers themselves. They make things too ridiculous. Once again you are mainly with random players who do whatever they want for the most part. There’s a modifier called ‘even stronger enemies’ which makes enemies do 3 times more damage. That’s stupid. Remember that when you beat wave 4 the enemies do 2 times more damage. Then another 50% damage boost after wave 8. We talking about 350% more damage! A simple drone elite and even a simple deebee bot will down the whole team solo if not careful. It’s stupid. Then there’s modifiers that create chaos in combos. The freezing bullets modifiers is an example. The grenadier with the overkill was able to instant freeze a sniper class character from a good distance away. This caused instant death. The worst is when the drones can freeze you. Snipers, not so much at all. Some modifiers just straight up make things boring, prevents you from playing how the class should be played. The elite drones do too much damage as well but we have already talked about that. So imagine trying to deal with a rushing warden who’s got twice as much health, with random players, none has a direct counter, with a horde that has cheap modifiers coming after you. Again it’s not fun. We have beaten horde with ‘Random Wardens’ multiple times but it was boring and ruined things.

This is just two issues we brought up here. There’s more to say like how slow class progression is and that it takes too long to level up. Which is harder to do with the increased difficulty, single modifiers and ‘Random Warden’. When you fail, you don’t get the big prizes meaning you spent all that time getting to wave 12 just to get nothing. Those pity cards and 1 star doesn’t make up for it. We have been playing Gears 5 much less now. Since Horde was what we came back for but now that’s not fun a lot of the time. The Coalition once again is messing up and making decisions that ruin their game and makes their numbers get smaller and smaller. Now Gears 5 may be getting new content but it’s current state isn’t good enough for… the ‘Earth Walk!’

Dungeons & Dragons: Dark Alliance is a new third person role playing action game developed by ‘Tuque Games‘ and published by ‘Wizards of the Coast‘. Dungeons & Dragons: Dark Alliance is said to be coming out the 22nd of June 2021 on Xbox Series X, Xbox One, PS5, PS4 and PC. Dungeons & Dragons is popular. Let’s take a look.

Dungeons & Dragons: Dark Alliance is off course all about the dungeons and dragons world. It’s here this time as an action rpg. There’s real time combat too. The story isn’t complicated but more typical. Dangerous monsters and creatures causing havoc and destruction. For example there’s invading armies that are evil who are also getting more powerful over time. Frost giants and we know how bad they can get, along with dragons who want revenge are moving around through Iceland Dale. Off course dragons. It’s called dungeons and dragons after all. Can you image a dungeon without any dragons?… boring.

So yeah all players have to do is face off against the forces of darknesses and defeat dangerous powerful creatures that were on the offensive. It’s Dungeon and Dragons but improved and a huge world adventure. There’s four heroes, so pick who you want to be and get out there. That’s simple.

There is co-op as well which is awesome clearly something Dungeons & Dragons: Dark Alliance needs.  It’s four player maximum. So imagine exploring a cold Icewind Dale, facing frost giants, slaying them and getting the loot which include gear. There’s also other fantastic mighty bosses too. Don’t forget about the dragons.

We checked out some Dungeons & Dragons: Dark Alliance gameplay and it’s what we expected. Take on monsters, legendary beasts, swing your weapons, fire your bows, cast your magic and work together to be victorious and bring home the prize. Exploration matters and the combat looks lively and cool. Combat in some games aren’t done well. We need to see more from Dungeons & Dragons: Dark Alliance but so far from what we see, it looks good but standard.

Overall Dungeons & Dragons: Dark Alliance is a big role playing game. You get to fight all the famous mythological creatures like frost giants and trolls with your friends, get powerful loot, get stronger and roll together. It’s just straight up dungeons and dragons fun. The graphics look good and the visuals sound alright for now but there’s still more time to go. So we need and want to see more. Ir’s cool but doesn’t stand out. The developers ‘Tuque Games’ have done a nice job so far. We at X35 Earthwalker will have to hear out for Dungeons & Dragons: Dark Alliance. Now Dungeons & Dragons: Dark Alliance may have frost giants and revenge seeking dragons but even those just get slapped aside by… the ‘Earth Walk!’
