Eldrador Creatures Shadowfall is a tactical turn based game developed and published by ‘Wild River games’. Eldrador Creatures Shadowfall is said to be coming out the 5th of March 2025 on Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, PS5 and PC. X35 Earthwalker believes family friendly fun games are needed. Eldrador Creatures Shadowfall needs to impress or hook right here. Let’s take a look.
The story in Eldrador Creatures Shadowfall is very simple. This creature filled world is in danger. Some unknown and quite shadowy threat is behind it all. so off course it’s up to the player to lead a group of combat ready creatures monsters to take own this danger and save the world.
Eldrador Creatures Shadowfall straight up just looks like a fun and colourful creatures battles. turn based off course and judging by the grids and options, a tactical one too. We hear that there’s over 100 levels. so there’s quite a lot for players to do and lots of opportunities to try out and adjust tactics.
Over 100 levels but 4 different locations. Eldrador Creatures Shadowfall has open locations for players to actually explore. There’s off course a jungle… an overgrown one (Groundskeepers aren’t doing their jobs). A lava world with all the heat you can or cannot handle. A stone world that’s been described as “indestructible”… we will see about that. Last is the Ice world which to no ones surprise is cold. Bring a jumper.
We checked out some Eldrador Creatures Shadowfall gameplay and it’s what we expected. Build your team of 20 creatures. Each creature off course has their own skills. They can off course get stronger and more effective as they battle. attacks to attack a row, clear a lane, attack while moving etc. There’s definitely room for tactics here. A cool rock golem creature stands out. Just looks like some fun stuff.
Overall Eldrador Creatures Shadowfall just looks like a good game. Simple honest fun with a straight forward story. Nothing crazy. Most importantly is that it’s family friendly from what we can see. Graphics are good and the details are alright. The animations are good too. The developers ‘Wild River games’ have done a good job so far. We at X35 Earthwalker will just have to hear what happens with this game. Now Eldrador Creatures Shadowfall may have numerous battle ready creatures but none of them stand a chance against… the ‘Earth Walk!’
FragPunk is a 5v5 Hero Shooter game developed and published by ‘Bad Guitar Studio’. FragPunk is said to be coming out the 6th March 2025 on the Xbox Series X/S, PC and PS5. X35 Earthwalker definitely has his eyes on this game. FragPunk is out here trying to stand out in this genre. Let’s take a look.
FragPunk right of the rip makes it clear what make it stand out from all the rest out there. FragPunk pretty much guarantees that no two matches will be the same thanks to the card system that they have. These shard cards are literally game changers. There’s over 100 from what we hear. These cards can change the jump height of players, introduce chain lightning for that spread damage, bring fire into play, or even reverse the roles of attackers and defenders. That is crazy. You want crazier? Then how about the ability to resurrect your entire team.
All the focus needs to be on the cards. Well majority of the focus. Look at the cards above for some more examples. Blade Master makes it so that players have to avoid you. You can deflect bullets and melee attacks. Avoid that player. Knowing that a player has the blaze, changes how you play that round. Chain reaction will force the enemy team to spread out. They can’t wolf pack as the chain lightning will punish the whole squad. Dragon’s breath buffs the fire damage for shotgun weapons. So just getting tagged once is more than enough to make you ‘one shot’ and therefore vulnerable. Death’s Embrace is the worst though. If you health goes below 50% then you are done for. The reaper… of the cards (Let me know if you know the reference), will come and reap some cheeks. Also the cheeks of nearby friends. Do you see the deadly combos already? Dragons breath to easily get enemies low health then the reaper shows up. We already got combos in mind for FragPunk.
It’s been estimated that 2 1/2 mins is the length of each round. FragPunk timing. This time actually means quite a bit. More players will be moving with speed. This means things have to be done fast as well. Combine that with the short time to kill and you have quite the situation. Players will have to have reactions for sure. This also brings up the problem of PC players. In games like this PC has an advantage. Many console players don’t want to play with PC players for multiple reasons. Hopefully FragPunk gives players the choice concerning cross platform. Turn it off for players who don’t want it.
There’s currently 12 characters in FragPunk and each one of course has their own abilities. So those who are familiar with Valorant should understand this quite easily. Some characters can gather information while others have the means to set traps. Then on top of that there’s 17 different weapons. Some weapons have special abilities. For example, a gun might actually shoot faster over time. Some weapons got the burst. figured out what this means yet. The combinations are seriously high. Over 100 cards with different effects, 12 characters with different abilities, with 17 different weapons, some of which have abilities. There’s going to be crazy diverse situations to create… and face. Players need to learn fast.
We checked out some FragPunk gameplay and it’s what we expected. We also expected great maps from FragPunk and it looks like it. The maps aren’t just simple designed maps. There’s visual effects like graffiti, stylised and realistic textures, collages too. Animations aren’t top tier for todays standards. The pace of matches set good for what’s shown. The cards will keep things engaging and entertaining for a long time. Just discovering all the cards will be an adventure in itself. Card use animation is cool though. FragPunk has the means to be better than other Hero Shooters but developers must never forget the fun factor.
Overall FragPunk is looking like a great game right. It definitely looks fun. Xbox players especially will be in for a great time. Colourful games and maps are more of our kind of thing. We want a Pro Shooter that’s fun and NOT PC focused or advantaged. Simple solution but no developers so far are as good as X35 Earthwalker. The developers ‘Bad Guitar Studio’ have done a great job so far. We at X35 Earthwalker will keep an eye on this game. Now FragPunk may have game changing cards but those cards have no effect on… the ‘Earth Walk!’
ENDER MAGNOLIA: Bloom in the Mist is a 2D Metroidvania RPG (Role Playing Game) developed by ‘Adglobe‘ and ‘Live Wire’ but published by ‘Binary Haze Interactive‘. ENDER MAGNOLIA: Bloom in the Mist is said to be coming out the 23rd of January 2025 on the Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, PC, PS5 and PS4. X35 Earthwalker has a long history with Metroidvania style games. ENDER MAGNOLIA: Bloom in the Mist is here with something to show.
ENDER MAGNOLIA: Bloom in the Mist is set in what’s called the ‘Land of Fumes’. This place is special. It’s called a superpower. Like a powerful leading nation. Tons of magical resources are available here. Now to increase progression and advancement concerning the kingdom, the homunculi are here. They are “artificial life forms”. Of course something has to go wrong. Toxic fumes from underground has messed with the homunculi causing them to go mad. Now they are basically monsters. Watch out.
Players control Lilac in ENDER MAGNOLIA: Bloom in the Mist. Lilac is a Attuner. She has the power to save the homunculi. You wake up in what looks like a storage in a lab. You aren’t alone for long but encounter a homunculi who definitely has something to do with the ruin of the kingdom. Time to work together and recover lost memories… your memories and even find your friends. Assuming you have friends. Yes These events take place decades after the “Rain of Death”.
Now certain fans who have been paying attention will recognise the style of this game. Remember Ender Lilies? Yeah. That’s right. The combat in ENDER MAGNOLIA: Bloom in the Mist is said to be a step up from Ender Lilies in terms of both “gameplay and exploration”. Players will be fighting with the help of their companions… so make sure to get them. There’s also additional difficulty levels. This means more options for the players. The babies can play on easy difficulty while the real players play for real. Shots fired.
We checked out some ENDER MAGNOLIA: Bloom in the Mist gameplay and it’s what we expected. It;’s definitely a step up from Ender Lilies. There’s said to be 30 different skills that you can receive from your companions. So you already know there’s variety in the combat styles. There’s also lots of relics, items and equipment. Get them and also upgrade them as well. The combat is looking good too. The big boss enemies are bringing some intimidation. Also looking like a high risk fight too. Hopefully things match up… if you know what we mean.
Overall ENDER MAGNOLIA: Bloom in the Mist is looking like an excellent game. You can acquire a mount which can just push its way through foes. Defeat powerful enemies and get companions. Time your dodges and rolls for evasion. Truly get into some serious scraps. A nice looking map but not great. The animations are nice as well. There’s quite the story here and they clearly want to make it deep and sort of dark too. The squad who worked on the music for Ender Lilies, Mili, is here as well to compose more music. The developers ‘Adglobe and Live Wire’ have done an excellent job so far. We at X35 Earthwalker will have to hear what this game truly brings to the console. ENDER MAGNOLIA: Bloom in the Mist may be trying to bring an upgraded experience but it’s still too low for… the ‘Earth Walk!’
The Blood of the Dawnwalker is a dark fantasy RPG Role Playing Game developed by ‘Rebel Wolves‘ and published by ‘Bandai Namco‘. The Blood of the Dawnwalker is said to be coming out… figure it out for yourselves, ya bums. It is coming out on the Xbox Series X/S, PC and PS5. Next Gen only by the looks of it. X35 Earthwalker off course has his thoughts on this game. The Blood of Dawnwalker looking to bring some crimson to the gaming scene. Let’s take a look.
The Blood of Dawnwalker is set in the 14th century, so already things suck. 14th century Europe, so weird times too. So expect wars, bloody conflicts, bad news and even diseases… oh and don’t forget the black death. Players take control of a dude named Coen. He’s surviving in Vale Sangora which is based in the Carpathian Mountains.
It’s quite obvious but vampires are here. They were always here. But now making their move for real. They are taking down feudal lords and all about power. Apparently the whole game takes place over 30 days (No Pikmin). Completing missions is what progresses the time here. So get to it already. We can see you complaining already. Don’t worry there is no hard time limit or anything. Take your time. By the way The Blood of Dawnwalker is an open world game. Meaning there’s lots to explore, travel around and discover… hopefully.
So The Blood of Dawnwalker has a split gameplay style. During the day your just regular bum Coen. You can chill, talk to people, gather information and resources. Night time is where the action truly is at. Time for battle. You must face other vampires, that’s right you become one too, but also creatures… dark creatures of the night. That keep men, women and children up at night. Coen can do it because he is the dawnwalker. Now let’s make this clear… a dawnwalker is way inferior to an Earthwalker. That’s a fact.
We checked out some more about The Blood of Dawnwalker and it’s looking good so far for real. Graphically The Blood of Dawnwalker definitely looks good. Not top 5 or anything but definitely good… unless you’re a difficult to please whining child. The Blood of Dawnwalker is developed on Unreal Engine 5. The alpha gameplay they showed in the cinematic trailer was promising. There is some problems concerning the powers of the vampires. Concerning how to beat them. Trailers like to hype up heroes or villains and make them seem so powerful but lack muster in game fight. It also leads to questions concerning why they stay in the background when they got their abilities.
Overall The Blood of Dawnwalker is looking like a very good game so far. We like that Coen isn’t just action but there’s also a choice he has to make. The dark powers or his humanity. Is any of this worth his soul? Remember what Jesus said about gaining the whole world but losing your soul. Think about it ya bum. We like what we have seen so far but still have questions. Questions concerning the gameplay by day, the combat, some of the enemies, the big boss etc. Regardless we always get our answers. The developers ‘Rebel wolves’ have done a very good so far. X35 Earthwalker will keep both ears open concerning this game. Now The Blood of Dawnwalker may have a dawnwalker but always remember that they are inferior to… the ‘Earth Walk!’
VED is a Turn based Role Playing Game developed by ‘Karaclan Studio’ but published by ‘Fulqrum Publishing‘. VED came out the 14th of November 2024 on the Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PC, Nintendo Switch, PS4 and PS5. VED arrived strong with a unique and demanding attention graphic style. X35 Earthwalker truly enjoys unique things in gaming. Let’s take a look.
VED is all about a young dude named Cyrus. Cyrus is a hero who showed up in Micropolis, an active city. Reason? A new line basically. Wouldn’t be a video game unless something wacky happens. Cyrus learns that he can teleport between two interconnected worlds. One is the regular human world while the other is a magical world full of floating islands (always cool), dangerous monsters and some strange creatures. This is already sounding like an adventure. Cyrus is the X factor here as both worlds destiny can be shaped by Cyrus.
How can Cyrus shaped the destiny of the two world? Basically you must master very interesting and strong magic called VED (the name of the game!!!). Ancient magic and forces… and tings of dat nature (In my X35 voice). Now if it isn’t obvious already let’s talk about the graphic style here. This is the most unique aspect of the game but not the only. Hand drawn art and animation. It’s low key captivating. This alone is more than enough to build interesting in VED. Don’t forget that VED was in game development for 12 years. Talk about work put in to something.
VED does have the whole your choices shapes the story and stuff. Most games fail at that aspect but it can be done right. Hopefully VED learnt from other games. There are multiple endings. So the replayability is definitely there. What will the final decision be at the end of the adventure. The game VED claims that each decision has consequences which should make “the narrative deeply engaging and personal.” It’s not just combat and reading but there’s also the political landscape of both worlds. So how you interactive with and deal with certain key characters matter.
Now the combat is cool. It’s turn based combat. The combat “emphasises strategic positioning”. Now deep will the tactical might and opportunities be in VED. That’s the real question. Will it be an easy mode anyone can jump through or will the higher IQ players be the ones who ascend to greater glory? There’s going to be potential for set ups and big blows. This must be investigated.
We checked out some VED gameplay and it’s what we expected mostly. What’s cool is that there’s a whole build village system. Players can construct a village for themselves and their allies. This provides the means to unlock new abilities and skills. There’s also some unpredictability in VED due to events which can either gift you with blessings for curses. So be ready for that. Lastly the music isn’t lacking. We hear there’s folk, hip hop and blends with symphonic.
Overall VED looks like a great game. Of course the characters, the political landscapes, abilities, difficulties will need to be known more. So right now we can call it great. The developers ‘Karaclan Studio’ have done an excellent job. 12 years has to count for something. We hope VED gets the love it deserves. We at X35 Earthwalker will keep an eye on this game. Now VED may have been developed for 12 years but it’s still way too short in the eyes of… the ‘Earth Walk!’
RIN: The Last Child is action, adventure platformer game developed and published by ‘Space Fox Games‘. RIN: The Last Child is said to be coming to Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS5 and PS4 this quarter of 2024. It’s already out on PC though. X35 Earthwalker chose to give this game a chance. RIN: The Last Child seems to go all in with the mystical world theme. Let’s take a look.
RIN: The Last Child is definitely all about exploring a mystical world. Metroidvania style of course. Game like this pretty much always have this aspect. RIN: The Last Child is called this maybe because of the main character RIN, described as “the last child of the creator”. RIN’s mission is to restore balance to a mystical enchanting world that’s a step away from chaos.
Now on a deeper dive you could argue that RIN: The Last Child pulls in some inspiration from the myth of cronus. That old battle and struggle between the new gods and old gods. Free will, authority and how much impact and weight does one’s decision really have. So this clearly means that RIN: The Last Child will have multiple endings. So replayability is there. How many endings will players get?
RIN: The Last Child, like Ori and the Will of the Wisps, focused a lot on visuals and the graphics. Games like these have to be beautiful and a treat to look at. It’s compulsory at this point. RIN: The Last Child isn’t lacking in this department. Definitely makes us want to see more. We trust that the spells and abilities also have top tier effects. There’s crafting of spells. So gather those runes and aspects. There’s said to be over 7000 variants of spell. That’s because spells can be upgraded or even enchanted. So get ready.
Now RIN: The Last Child does believe in variety. There’s off course quite the range of enemies and even transformed siblings. Yeah, much is happening around here. Different styles and approaches are encouraged. So don’t be a one minded bum. Switch up the tactics from time to time.
We checked out some RIN: The Last Child gameplay and it’s what we expected. Lots of platforming, multiple environments, lots of combat and lots of projectiles and spells. The foes don’t see so intimidating though. The animations looks good. Not top tier but definitely good. Also we don’t like the look of RIN. Run doesn’t look cute, intimidating or powerful. Wanted a bit more life in the environments though, mainly the background.
Overall RIN: The Last Child does look like a good game. There’s definitely an adventure here. the strongest point of RIN: The Last Child is clearly the spells. The sheer variety os the spells with variants is good enough. Got to see them in action. The developers ‘Space Fox Games’ have done a good job so far. We at X35 Earthwalker will have to see what RIN: The Last Child does on them consoles.
Selfloss is an action adventure game developed by ‘Goodwin Games‘ and published by ‘Merge Games‘. Selfloss is said to be coming out the 12th of September 2024 for Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch and PlayStation. Will come to PC the 5th of September same year. Selfloss definitely has a uniquer factor that could make it stand out. X35 Earthwalker has respect for such creatures. Let’s take a look.
Selfloss is set in a post apocalyptic world. Players control Kazimir, who is a “seasoned volhv”. He is on a journey. Kazimir must traverse both land and sea to find a cure for his soul. Kazimir isn’t a helpless useless being. He has a magic staff which allows him to fight the “enigmatic plague” called Miasm. This plague has ravaged the world. Now this wouldn’t be an adventure unless humanity hangs in the balance or facing extinction or whatever. Yes, in Selfloss, humanity is a factor.
Selfloss looks like another indie, journey, story, little guy in a big world sort of thing. These types are normally done well and we hope the same for Selfloss as well. What’s unique and we are a fan of is how significant whales are in this game. Yes whales are revered in this world. You will see different types of whales too. Blue whale, white whale, humpback whale, sperm whale etc. We hope all are included in this game. Whales are so cool and you definitely interact with them. Respect the whales.
Off curse players will encounter multiple characters. Some described as unforgettable… we will be the judges of that. We also saw some other creatures and beings as well. Like what looks like a big eel. We can’t trust it… but we will eat it. Cleansed and seasoned. Fresh water eel when done right can go crazy. Regardless Selfloss is looking like quite the little adventure.
We checked out some Selfloss gameplay and it’s what we expected. Little guy in a big world. Easy and simple to understand and get into. Going for the chunky block graphic style. Wind direction and streams and visible. The combat is very simple but there are some dangers for sure. Whales some times roll up and just do their thing. Be careful when on the seas though. A big ol whale might just pop up from under you. Quite a mystical world. there’s rivers, forests, buildings, sea, cliffs, islands and well it’s a nice little variety that fits the theme. It is too slow though.
Overall Selfloss seems like a good game but it’s too slow for us. The best thing about Selfloss is easily the whales and the effects in some cases. hopefully the whales play a bigger role in all this. Those who want a relaxed little adventure has something to gain from this. The developers ‘Goodwin games’ have dome a good job. We at X35 Earthwalker will have to hear what results this game brings. Now Selfloss may have revered whales but they are too simple for… the ‘Earth Walk!’
Atlas Fallen: Reign of Sand is a huge free update for the action adventure open world game developed by ‘Deck13‘ and published by ‘Focus Entertainment‘. Atlas Fallen: Reign of Sand is said to be coming out the 6th of August 2025 on the Xbox Series X, PC and PS5. X35 Earthwalker always kept an eye on Atlas Fallen and it’s excellent to see the update. Atlas Fallen: Reign of Sand is here to make things bigger and better. Let’s take a look.
Atlas Fallen: Reign of Sand is thew new expansion and this ain’t no small matter. This Reign of Sand expansion is massive. You might as well call it a comprehensive overhaul. We talking new enemies and enemy varieties, new quests more information concerning the atlas Fallen world and lore.
Atlas Fallen: Reign of Sand even did a workover concerning the progression system. Things are going to be functioning different from here on. Even the campaign got a workover too. This includes the voice acting. Expect Ben Starr on the mic. Ben who?…
New difficulty mode as well. What? The game was too easy for you? Atlas Fallen: Reign of Sand has got you covered. Feast your eyes on ‘Nyaal’s Nightmare’. So those who want to suffer… you’re welcome. There’s also more Essence Stones. We hear 25.
Co-op has been improved or should we say enhanced. So test that one out to see and feel the difference. New game + mode is a thing. Get in there, team up with others and take down these monsters and gods. They probably weak anyways.
We checked out some Atlas Fallen: Reign of Sand gameplay and it’s what we expected. This update truly makes it so that it’s better for players to start fresh anew in Atlas Fallen: Reign of Sand instead of carry their progress over. This update is so big and changes a lot, including revamping, that for the first time ever it’s better to do a new game+ from fresh than carry over. Give it a try.
Overall Atlas Fallen: Reign of Sand is looking fantastic. Tons of work went into this. The developers ‘Deck13’ heard the intelligent polite feedback (idiots get ignored as they should) and responded with action. Best of all this massive update is FREE. So there’s no excuse right now. We like what we see. Atlas Fallen: Reign of Sand is now in our sights. The developers have done a fantastic job. We at X35 Earthwalker will have to see the new things for ourselves. Now Atlas Fallen: Reign of Sand may have a massive update but it’s still small compared to… the ‘Earth Walk!’
Assassin’s Creed Shadows is a stealth/action adventure game developed and published by ‘Ubisoft’. Assassin’s Creed Shadows is said to be coming out the 15th of November 2024 on the Xbox Series X, PC and PS5. X35 Earthwalker is looking for the assassin’s creed game that brings him back into the series. Assassin’s Creed Shadows is out here trying to be that game. Let’s take a look. [This G blog will be a different style as so much information on this game is already out]
Assassin’s Creed Shadows is set in Japan. So Assassin’s Creed fans finally get what they’ve been asking for, for years. Ubisoft had a lot of thinking to do concerning this game and what type of Assassin’s Creed game they wanted to make. What do we mean? Very simple. Assassin Creed has two types. Stealth focused and action focused. The earlier Assassin’s Creed games were clearly more stealth based. Hide, blend in, watch the movement of the enemies and make your move. Then escape after assassinating target. The action Assassin’s Creed games were mainly your character straight up facing all the foes in the open and besting them in combat with some crazy abilities. There was still stealth mechanics but most just got up in there and started swinging.
Here’s the problem. Most of the older Assassin’s Creed fans have been calling for a return to stealth as the the most recent Assassin’s Creed games were all action really. So bring back stealth right? Well sales and money show that the most successful Assassin’s Creed games were the action ones. More players, more fame, more attention and more money. So many fans want the original but less popular but action makes the most money… which is the aim of EVERY business… making more money. So Ubisoft said screw it, let’s do both. This is the biggest strength and factor of Assassin’s Creed Shadows.
Assassin’s Creed Shadows has TWO protagonists. Primary main character is Naoe and secondary main character is Yasuke. Naoe is the assassin. So all the sneaking, hiding, stealth kills and being one with the shadows is her. Yasuke is actually a real person in history. The first black samurai in Japan. He is the all action guy. As he said, kick down the front door, just face the foes and smash them. This solves the problem. So now stealth players can pick Naoe and be all stealth as much as they want while action players can just five into the action, no hiding with Yasuke. So that should shit up all the complaining.
In Assassin’s Creed Shadows, players can switch between both characters for the missions. So you could play through the whole game as Naoe for stealth then in your second play through got all action and vice versa. Or you can mix it up and change mission by mission basis. You can even be like Larry who played a whole mission with Naoe, failed at the very end and just switched to Yasuke for the replay and tear everyone up. It’s up to you. Players love having options. So this move ticks of multiple boxes.
X35 Earthwalker believes that Assassin’s Creed Shadows will be the best Assassin’s Creed game yet. The combat with Yasuke is detailed. There is dodging, the heaviest attacks ever, armour and destruction of armour pieces, special attacks, blocks and even parries. It’s a full combat system. Uasuke feels incredibly powerful and smashes through his foes. Almost unstoppable. Naoe is not just stealth but the best stealth. She can can use projectiles to take out light sources, creating more shadows and darkness for he to hide and move through. She can hide up on the ceiling with plunger like tools. She can breathe underwater thanks to a reed or similar tube that pokes up to the surface granting her air. Naoe has new mechanics. Both characters are powerful in their own unique ways and clearly effective. Don’t underestimate Naoe in a fight and don’t underestimate Yasuke’s versatility as he has more than one weapon.
Disgusting but expected is the amount of hatred Assassin’s Creed Shadows got all because of one black person… Yasuke. Same with Angrboda in god of war ragnarok. So much racism today and it’s from the usual suspects each time. Yasuke is a real person who became a samurai in japan. Majority of historical websites including Britannica has stated that he’s a samurai as well with text and other historical evidence. Yasuke is famous in Japan and is in many Japanese media from books and stories to animations and shows. He’s even portrayed and showed as a samurai warrior in other games like Nioh. No issues with Yasuke then but the moment he’s shown in assassin’s creed shadows, all the racists suddenly became Japanese historians and posted racist memes and drawings and used hateful speech on Facebook, X and instagram. disgusting but evil is predictable. There has even been some white people exposed for pretending to be Japanese online to attack yasuke. Even the top voices of a so called Japanese petition to cancel the game were both white guys… not even Japanese. Now there’s a Japanese senator or whatever who is going against the game… for what reason besides yasuke. The hate is real. X35 Earthwalker has podcast episodes explaining and debunking these foolish things. Also a youtuber made a video where he proved with Japanese text that Yasuke is a samurai. Check those out below:
First podcast episode – https://open.spotify.com/episode/1Nm27YHAuqEg6PW22N2YjG
Second podcast episode – https://open.spotify.com/episode/2MgFNXU6SWGpDeTxlh91M4
We checked out some Assassin’s Creed Shadows gameplay and it’s what we expected. Exploring Japan, standing up for the people, marking targets and getting information on said targets. Use a horse for traversing the place. The lighting in this game is impressive. It makes the moments sneaking around with Naoe more beautiful and intense. The flames and light sources are excellently done here. As the game gets closer to release date, animations , character interactions and details will be stepped up. The gameplay Ubisoft showed is obviously not the final product. Also Assassin’s Creed Shadows is not $130. That’s a lie. The ultimate edition is $130 while the standard is $70 like many other games. So much hate towards this game. It’s sad. This is the first Assassin’s Creed game in a long time that has actually interested us. Assassin’s Creed Shadows might be the game to bring us back in.
Overall Assassin’s Creed Shadows looks like it’s going to be a fantastic game. This will be the best Assassin’s Creed game. Both Assassin’s Creed styles and even completely new mechanics. Now the biggest factor will be the huge amounts of racist who are trying so hard to lead a campaign against this game. Ignoring those fools, Assassin’s Creed Shadows is going to be successful. It has all components needed for it. The developers ‘Ubisoft’ have done a fantastic job so far. We at X35 Earthwalker will keep an eye out for this game. Now Assassin’s Creed Shadows may have two protagonists but those two aren’t enough for… the ‘Earth Walk!’
Starship Troopers: Extermination is a Co-op First Person Shooter game developed and published by ‘Offworld industries‘. Starship Troopers: Extermination is said to be coming out the 11th of October 2024 on the Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, PC and PS5. X35 Earthwalker has been waiting a long time for a Starship troopers game. Starship Troopers: Extermination better bring the fire. Let’s take a look.
Starship Troopers: Extermination is what fans of the movies would expect. It’s humanity, the united citizen federation, against the bugs. Humanity must survive and win. Your leader is general Rico, voiced by Casper Van Diesel from the movies. Just get in there and destroy bugs. After all the only good bug is a dead bug.
Starship Troopers: Extermination is just exterminating bugs. There’s also base building too. Players must establish strongholds in their battle against the bugs. So get some design skills and build a half decent base at least. Can you even call yourself a citizen when you can’t base build decently. Besides you’ll need the space as the game can have up to 16 players. 16 players is more than enough to defeat the bugs. Matter of fact just one citizen can defeat the bugs. Now shut up and do your part.
Starship Troopers: Extermination has players fight as part of the Deep Space Vanguard. Deep Space Vanguard has 6 different classes. Ranger, Sniper, Guardian, Medic, demolisher and Engineer. Now it should be quite obvious what each of these do. Sniper got the range and amazing firepower and cowardly hides back watching their allies die. Ranger has jet packs and close range weapons. The Demolisher makes things go boom. Simple to understand… move on. Guardian is defensive. Has the best rumour, armour plates and some scary machine guns I hear. Engineer is the base builder and loves mines with flamethrowers of course. The Medic tops everyone up, heals, saves and has a UAV medical drone.
The Bugs have got an upgrade too in Starship Troopers: Extermination. Not just the troopers. There’s the Drones who are small and weak but in a pack or horde they overwhelm all in their path. The Warriors (come out an play) is the big mean ones who are mad aggressive and got speed. They will snap you up. The Gunner is al about ranged combat. Even using speed won’t protect you from them. Dakka dakka dakka! Plasma Grenadiers bring the heat… literally. Their plasma WILL burn right through you. So take them seriously. Tiger Elite is the meanest one and it demands everyones attention. Ignore this might beast at the cost of your own life. Apex predator. Do not for a minute think these bugs listed here are all you need to worry about.
Good news troopers! There’s multiple locations and things to do. Let’s check this out for a bit. Starship Troopers: Extermination has the desert planet of Valaka. Valaka also may have sandstorms which obviously obscure your vision and makes things difficult. Agni prime is quite a much and colourful place but it can be volcanic due to that big volcano. An eruption will cause fire to rain down. Take cover obviously. There’s even a horde defence mode where you must survive 10 waves of bugs. They get increasingly difficult. There’s evenness for players to invader and attempt to take down. Imagine the kind of bugs you’ll find down there. Hopefully boss bugs.
You can’t fight without some weapons. Good weapons. In Starship Troopers: Extermination there’s an acceptable range. You want more? Then pay more taxes. Troopers can use the Morita mk1 assault rifle, morita xxx sniper rifle, morita mk3 saw, fu-17 flamethrower, C-32 chi-hong grenade launcher and TW-2 S.P.L.I.T. Shotgun Auto. As you can see there’s some good weapons here that will get the job done… sort off. Iy’s obvious what each one does.
We checked out some Starship Troopers: Extermination gameplay and it’s not exactly what we expected. It’s looking under developed. Animations are quite poor as well. Definitely inferior to the animations in helldivers 2. Now the main point of the game is to be fun and bring the action. It certainly seems to have more depth than helldivers 2. We need to the animations to step up. The early version was released to pc and that probably explains why it does look underdeveloped. So hopefully when the official full release comes to consoles it will all be stepped up. We definitely like the action though. How bugs explode and bits of them break off is what’s expected for a game like this. We need fun. Her the top fun is appreciated also. Starship Troopers: Extermination is sop easy to get right so the developers cannot fail this.
Overall Starship Troopers: Extermination looks like a good game but quality needs to step up especially with all the next gen games here and the power that the Xbox Series X has. The action is solid, the range of enemies are good but we hope there are more to show up. We hope for a few more weapons will be available. Developers must take notes and learn from other games. We want options. We also need more planets or locations to fight in and fight for. Having only a few places will get old quick. Starship Troopers has a big universe so we hope this game uses it. The developers ‘Offworld Industries’ have done a good job so far. We at X35 Earthwalker will keep an eye open for this game. Starship Troopers: Extermination may have loads of bugs to kill but it’s certainly not enough for… the ‘Earth Walk!’
