X35 Earthwalker Greak: memories of azur

Greak: memories of azur is a side scrolling platform action game developed by ‘navegante entertainment’ and published by ‘Team17‘. Greak: memories of azur is said to be coming out 17th of August 2021 on the Xbox Series X, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PS5, PS4 and PC. Greak: memories of azur has sibling teamwork. Let’s take a look.

Greak: memories of azur is set in the lands of Azur. There’s three siblings: Greak, Adara and Raydel. Two brothers and a sister. Players will control these guys. One at a time off course. Basically an invasion is going on. A faction called the Urlag. Basically the Urlag is fighting a magical race called courine. The courine are losing their home lands. So it’s a desperate and dangerous situation.

X35 Earthwalker Greak: memories of azur

Greak: Memories of Azur is about the three siblings. Greak is the courine and so he uses magical abilities and attacks. His sister Adara also comes off as magical but possible the most mobile of the three. Lastly Raydel is what you’d expect from the big brother. He is mainly strength, even wielding a sword and shield. You can always count on big bro right. Greak: Memories of Azur allows players to switch between Greak, Adara, and Raydel at any moment so you can use their abilities to your advantage either in combat of platforming around the land. Players like freedom.

X35 Earthwalker Greak: memories of azur

We checked out At first it is not so in Greak: Memories of Azur. At the start you control Greek and his first goals to reunite with Adara and Raydel, help them out in their different situations and then work as team to escape. Greak: Memories of Azur is hand drawn art and animations. It looks very good and runs smoothly too. That’s always great to see. So imagine the performance on the best console the Xbox Series X.

We checked out some Greak: Memories of Azur gameplay and it’s what we expected. What we find funny is that the Greak, Adara and Raydel plan to escape the lands of Azur by “building a zeppelin piece by piece.” That sounds so silly but we like different things and want to see that work. We like Raydel the most so far and his shield which he can use to even block beams to allow others to pass through. The enemies are sort of disappointing though. We hope they become more cool and stand out. There must be a bigger difference between between Adara and Greak.

Overall Greak: Memories of Azur looks like a good game. We like what we see but we want more. It’s not a big enough scale for what’s happening in the lore, like oh we don’t know, an invasion. It’s not active enough. The graphics style is nice but the graphics and visuals themselves are excellent. The developers ‘navegante entertainment’ have done a good job so far. We at X35 Earthwalker will have to keep an ear out for this game. Now Greak: Memories of Azur may have an invasion but it’s far too weak for… the ‘Earth Walk!’

X35 Earthwalker Astria Ascending

Astria Ascending is a JRPG (Japanese role playing game) developed by ‘Artisan Studios‘ and published by ‘Dear Villagers‘. Astria Ascending is said to be coming out 30th of September 2021 on the Xbox Series X, Nintendo Switch, PS5 and PC. Astria Ascending is looking like a whole new big adventure for sure. Let’s take a look.

Astria Ascending hasn’t given much information concerning the story but we can piece it together. For starters Asstria Ascending is set in the world of Orcanon. Players take control of one of the so called “fated eight”. These characters are customisable and are different races, have very different skills and different in character to each other. They “must sacrifice everything to save the world.” Sacrificing everything sounds like the fated 8 will lose their lives too. That sounds like a problem.

X35 Earthwalker Astria Ascending

But wait… there’s more… in Astria Ascending. There’s also 12 ancient beasts. Now these beasts are obviously special since they are called ancient but what’s the deal with them. Sounds like they need to be eliminated. It’s also been said that the fated 8 will fight against their destiny. This in a way does remind us of Final Fantasy 13 (in some ways) which we enjoyed playing. We definitely want to know more about the 12 ancient beasts. There’s 5 cities to explore which holds their own creatures.

This whole world is hand drawn. That means a lot of time and work went into this for sure. Hand drawn ain’t easy. So yes there’s 5 cities but there’s also 20 dungeons. Wait a minute! 20 dungeons? There’s 8 fated heroes and 12 ancient beats. 8 + 12 = 20! MIND BLOWN!!!!!!! See you get the best content here with X35 Earthwalker. Now this world in Astria Ascending isn’t mystical happiness and fun times. Expect betrayal and even terror. There’s a lot going on.

X35 Earthwalker Astria Ascending

The team developing Astria Ascending has some serious people on the team. Developers from Final Fantasy, Nier Automata and Bravely default. There’s apparently lots to do as well. There’s over 50 hours of gameplay. There’s mini games too. A fantasy themed card game which interests us. There’s a shoot em up and even environmental puzzles. Talking about options, we hear there’s 20 classes to choose from concerning your character.

We checked out some Astria Ascending gameplay and it’s what we expected. Loads of skills to use against your enemies. Build up and get powerful enough to use legendary cosmo breaks. There’s “over 200 different monsters” for you to face. There’s even summons in this game. Legendary beasts that you can collect bring into the fight against your foes. There’s quite a lot of options when it comes to combat. We like the look of that. We just hope the turn based combat is actually tactical with high enough difficulty to force players to not walk through it but use their brains.

Overall Astria Ascending looks like a very good game. There’s going to be some serious music especially with the help of these developers from Final Fantasy and Nier Automata. We expect lots of content, lots of combat and some awesome creatures for sure. We hope the summons are epic and actually useful. The developers ‘Artisan studios’ have done a great job. We at X35 Earthwalker will keep an eye on this game. Now Astria Ascending may have legendary summon but those beings are pathetic and useless against… the ‘Earth Walk!’

X35 Earthwalker King's Bounty 2

King’s Bounty 2 is a turned based role playing game developed by ‘1C Entertainment‘ and published by ‘Prime Matter‘. King’s Bounty 2 is said to be coming out the 24th of August 2021 on the Xbox Series X, Nintendo Switch, PS5 and PC. We got a fantasy world with magic, beats and danger. Let’s take a look.

King’s Bounty 2 all takes place in the kingdom of Nostria. Nostria real quick gets a new king. This change of leadership is never really easy but that’s not even the main focus. Nostria has a lot of troubles coming their way. Big dangers actually. Off the such like sabotage which always sucks, conspiracies which makes communication hard and even necromancy which is always bad. All these threats and more are on the way with many mystical enemies and battles.

X35 Earthwalker King's Bounty 2

King’s Bounty 2 is not going easy on the situation with loads of drama. On top of what we have already listed there’s also “kingdoms in disarray, counties demanding independence, bandits prowl the roads, all the overseas nations have denied the King’s authority over them, and blighted creatures lie in wait for the unwary.” So off course Nostria needs a hero. This is where the players come in. Pick one of three main heroes and we hope they are interesting. So off course players need an army. The means recruiting and building that army. This also won’t be easy as betrayal is a factor so keep an eye out on this adventure.

X35 Earthwalker King's Bounty 2

Our interest off course lies in the beings and creatures of King’s Bounty 2. The enemies and what you can expect to face. We have seem what looks like elemental beings, there’s golems, there’s human enemies, necromancers, beasts looking like big cats, skeletons off course, glowing plasma like big birds, gargoyles or maybe demons. We see a lot of threats and having a variety of enemies and dangers work very well especially in fantasy worlds like King’s Bounty 2. We wonder if they have the creativity to bring something new up in here but let’s see.

X35 Earthwalker King's Bounty 2

We checked out some King’s Bounty 2 gameplay and it’s what we thought but not as cool. Something we didn’t talk about much is that this is turn based strategy. You have hexagon ground layouts for combat, measuring the field and where units can stand. The combat doesn’t look exciting. We like the visuals and effects on attacks like lightning and fire. It’s definitely magically but we hope the actual combat gets better and more exciting. We like the details that given to us during combat and things are clear and easy to understand. We like the variety of the attacks as well like ice throw from an ice golem, magical blasts from spell casters and even arrows from archers.

Overall King’s Bounty 2 looks lie a good game. Nothing huge but another good game with a adventure for gamers. It’s clear quite a lot of work went into King’s Bounty 2. So far it hasn’t attracted or impressed us yet. We do want to see more though. There’s dialogue and decisions that need to be made. We know there’s consequences for your actions but do they truly matter? Most games fail with this choice to consequence stuff. Let’s see if King’s Bounty 2 fails better. The developers ‘1C Entertainment’ have done a good job so far. We at X35 Earthwalker hope more is done on this game. Now King’s Bounty 2 may have Nostria but that place is too lame for… the ‘Earth Walk!’

X35 Earthwalker - Ender Lilies: Quietus of the Knights

Ender Lilies: Quietus of the Knights is a 2D action Role Playing Game developed by ‘Live Wire, Adglobe‘ but published by ‘Binary Haze Interactive‘. Ender Lilies: Quietus of the Knights came out the 22nd of June 2021 on the Nintendo Switch and PC but 29th of June 2021 on the Xbox Series X. Ender Lilies: Quietus of the Knights has quite a lot going on. Let’s take a look.

Ender Lilies: Quietus of the Knights is all about a girl named Lily. Lily is the last surviving priestess. What happened? Basically it’s the rain. Yes rain. Not normal rain though. This rain is dangerous and can even turn people into the undead. Lily wakes up in a church (Best place to be is church. Facts) but has no knowledge and memory of recent things that took place. So off course your mission is to find the cause of this rain and hopefully stop it.

X35 Earthwalker - Ender Lilies: Quietus of the Knights

Ender Lilies: Quietus of the Knights is off course already out so you can literally see the game for yourself so we are keeping it short. It’s more than just the undead. The rain turned all living things into monsters. There’s all kinds of dangers here. They are called the Blighted. Players off course need to explore this entire world. The place is called ‘Land’s End’. Very friendly. There is some variety as there’s a massive castle, a  submerged forest and even an underground cavern that’s apparently contaminated and sealed off. Isn’t that suspicious. It would be a shame if we had to explore that place, oh wait.

X35 Earthwalker - Ender Lilies: Quietus of the Knights

We checked out some Ender Lilies: Quietus of the Knights gameplay and it’s what we expected for the most part. We like that Lily doesn’t actually fight herself. She summons the spirits of the undead who got purified. One has a sword and fights like a warrior, another has a bow shooting projectiles while another is sort of like a mage that shoots fire balls sort of. They do have names like Umbral Knight, Gerrod, the elder warrior, Dark witch Elaine and more. They fight for her. So timing attacks, diving out of the way and using each summoned spirit optimally is essential in this game.

Overall Ender Lilies: Quietus of the Knights seems like a really cool game and the combat is different.  We definitely like the art style and the graphics are excellent. The animations are excellent. The animations of 2D games have really stepped up. There’s a lot of details in this game too, including on the enemies. The game looks like it will get real difficult which is a good thing. The developers ‘Livewire and adglobe’ did a very good job here. We at X35 Earthwalker will keep an ear out for Ender Lilies: Quietus of the Knights. Now Ender Lilies: Quietus of the Knights may have killer rain but that rain don’t mean a thang when it comes to… the ‘Earth Walk!’

X35 Earthwalker Yuoni

Yuoni is a first person horror game Developed by ‘Tricore‘ and published by ‘Chorus worldwide games‘. Yuoni is said to be coming out the 19th of August 2021 on Xbox Series X, Xbox One, PS5, PS4 and PC. Yuoni is taking a simple game concept and making it into a big deal. Let’s take a look.

Yuoni is set in Japan in the year 1990. It’s about Ai. She is a grade schooler. So clearly young and not Laura croft. She is in a world where the sun never sets. Ai is forced to play hide and seek. No this isn’t some friendly game. This is a lethal and deadly game of hide and seek. As in, of you get found, you die! So basically Ai has three choices here. Run, as fast as you can. Hide, very well or just die. That sums up the game really. It’s hide and seek but lethal.

X35 Earthwalker Yuoni

What iS ai hiding from in Yuoni? There are shadowy beings that will harm her. There’s also some horrible creature which has many big eyeballs. There’s also what looks like a small demon boy too who will find you and drag you out of hiding. These enemies all have different behaviours. What’s worst is that these creatures are somehow start to “bleed into the real world”. That’s bad off course. We do hope there’s a good range of enemies in Yuoni.

These enemies have the advantage here as Ai is only 10 years old. She is too small and weak to fight. The enemies of Yuoni has weaknesses though. There are some enemies that are blind so you must sneak past them. Another enemy is deaf, meaning you can run past quick without consequence. The blind one can still here so you must use the hold your breathe mechanic. Your breathing is noise. So know when to hold your breath. So this makes us wonder what other behaviours and weaknesses these enemies have.

X35 Earthwalker Yuoni

There’s items for players to find in Yuoni. You will need these items to escape the situation you are in. There’s also mentions and warning for players to “remember the paths you’ve taken or risk being trapped there forever.” This lets us know that there are decisions and options to make. How well is it done though?

We checked out some Yuoni gameplay and its sort of what we imagined. We didn’t expect the highest grade graphics or design but it does its job. We know that there’s more to Yuoni than shown as Ai’s friends are brought into this somehow. It states that they “harbour dark thoughts and harrowing secrets”. That children and can be more cruel than the spirits themselves. So there’s more going on for sure. We do hope the game gets more polished visually but keep that same wood looking style though.

Overall Yuoni looks like a simple game with a simple objective but a serious twist. We hope things are done very well. There’s more than one ending as the website states that after clearing the game, “another ending will become available to you.” The foes will be more challenging. That’s a good touch. The developers ‘Tricore’ have done an alright job so far. We at X35 Earthwalker hope Yuoni does well. Now Yuoni may have hide and seek but those games are too easy for… the ‘Earth Walk!’

hwalker Doki Doki Literature Club Plus!

Doki Doki Literature Club Plus! is the new psychological horror game (it is) developed by ‘Team Salvato‘ and published by ‘Serenity Forge‘. Doki Doki Literature Club Plus! is said to be coming out the 30th of June 2021 on the Xbox Series X, Nintendo Switch, PS5 and PC. Doki Doki Literature Club Plus! is something are have been waiting for as well. Let’s take a look.

Monika, Sayori, Yuri and Natsuki are back. Doki Doki Literature Club Plus! is something that many gamers have been waiting for even though most of them don’t have the balls (or breasts for ladies) to publicly admit it. We were waiting for this game. We have really high expectations for Doki Doki Literature Club Plus! You can expect the same psychological horror from the original game. Twists and turns will be here also. Players should expect the game to mess with their heads. Maybe enter your minds as well and take your place in the real world… maybe… it could happen… It’s good to see Monika, Sayori, Yuri and Natsuki again.

X35 Earthwalker Doki Doki Literature Club Plus!

Doki Doki Literature Club Plus! has improved graphics and visuals, full HD. There’s over 100 unlockable images like game art, concept sketches and wallpapers. There’s a full fledged music player. There are 26 in-game songs thanks to the 13 additional songs. So play what you want and even loop the same single song over and over again. There’s now 6 new side quests in Doki Doki Literature Club Plus! It’s been stated that these side quests are hours worth of gameplay. We will also get to learn the original of the literature club. This is good to hear but we have some concerns. Is this big enough though. So will it be the same storyline, everything the same for the most part but just added the 6 side quests? We need new things, big stuff and something more than the original experience. We will explain a bit why in the next paragraph.

hwalker Doki Doki Literature Club Plus!

Firstly because there has been so many mods for Doki Doki Literature Club that it’s amazing. Many people liked Doki Doki Literature Club so much that they put in serious work to build the mods. Some of them are seriously good. So good that it’s actually better than the original game! For example the best Doki Doki Literature club mod we have ever played was the Blue Skies mod. It has like over 20 hours worth of gameplay, full fledged character routes depending on which girl you pursued. There was new characters, there was Christmas and halloween (both events was fun). There was good and bad ending with the good endings mostly feel so conclusive like we can accept that ending. Blue Skies mod was so darn good. So off course the developers of the original game needs to do something new and do something big. It has to be big. If they don’t want to take the romantic dating route that’s fine since Doki Doki Literature club is mainly a psychological horror game, but it needs to be big. Do you see what we mean? Doki Doki Literature Club Plus! can’t just be Doki Doki Literature Club with side quests. Mods like blue skies will still be better. We actually really enjoyed Blue Skies. The developers have to go big. They can’t get outshined here.

hwalker Doki Doki Literature Club Plus!

Yes we agree that Doki Doki Literature Club Plus! coming to consoles is a big thing and the added side quests are exciting as we get to see what’s actually cannon. The mods are great and all but it’s all what the fan developer wanted but now we get what’s actually cannon and official for the characters. Questions we had like what’s Natsuki’s dad really like? What’s truly going on with Monika? Parents, the main character etc. What we would suggest is to have a much longer main story, have it more like an adventure. There may be more clear consequences concerning your choices. Make sure players can actually reach a conclusion (they have that we know). Take the mind games to another level maybe concerning patterns in the choices made by players or whatever. There must be more mind twists. Since most people have seen or know or played Doki Doki Literature club. It will be hard to impress or catch some off guard now without new things. So we hope the developers thought about these things.

Overall we aren’t excited for Doki Doki Literature Club Plus! but looking forward to it. X35 Earthwalker being the smartest, wiser and greatest video gamer of all time doesn’t get scared easy or caught out with stuff. He has played the original game and the best mod of that game. It will take a lot to impress herald quite a bit to bring a new experience. We don’t want a remake but that’s up to the very skilled developers. We like the additional things they add though like the music, new graphics and definitely the side quests. We will just have to wait and see. The developers ‘Team Salvato’ have done a good job so far. We at X35 Earthwalker are looking forward to and keeping an eye out for Doki Doki Literature Club Plus! Now Doki Doki Literature Club Plus! may have some psychological horror mind games but those have no effect on… the ‘Earth Walk!’

X35 Earthwalker Kitaria Fables

Kitaria Fables is an action adventure role playing game with farming elements. It’s developed by ‘Twin Hearts‘ and published by ‘PQube‘. Kitaria Fables isa said to be coming out the 3rd September 2021 on the Xbox Series X, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PS5, PS4 and PC. Don’t let Kitaria Fables fool you. This is a serious game. Let’s take a look.

Kitaria Fables is set in the world of Kitaria where animals behave like people. Walking around, talking, got jobs, are soldiers etc. You’re in Paw village where you are… farming. Farming? That doesn’t sound like a hardened tough warrior for an adventure but hey it’s a job. So yes, you do farming, you attend to and grow your crops for money and survival. You also can get ingredients for cooking and meals. There’s crafting elements in Kitaria Fables too. Kitaria Fables is an action adventure game with Role playing games and farming elements. Sounds very interesting. We like it.

X35 Earthwalker Kitaria Fables

Kitaria Fables is a big adventure remember. There’s an actual danger and threat to the world of Kitaria. There’s a growing darkness. The areas around Paw Village are getting “increasingly hostile.” In fact the empire has actually called you to investigate. So clearly we are more than just farmers. You will travel the world and reach various different locations. Expect to come across and dive into forests, mountains, swamps and even deserts. We do like the variety but hope they stand out well. So explore to find and discover new characters who can be friends and of course new gear and weapons. Speaking of weapons.

X35 Earthwalker Kitaria Fables

There are real weapons in Kitaria Fables. Melee weapons like swords are here and we have seen a few designs. Some look cool. There’s projectile weapons too like bows. There are spells too. You can freeze enemies to restrict their movements or maybe take a dangerous enemy out of the equation. Maybe just burn your enemies for that additional damage. We know there’s more spells to acquire and weapons which means more options for combat styles.

What’s interesting for us at X35 Earthwalker is what kind of enemies does Kitaria Fables have. From what we have seen there’s humanoid or should we say animaloid enemies. Animals that wield weapons like bows and melee. So maybe there’s different armies that you need to watch out for. In the forest area there are shield bugs. This shows the areas have their own unique enemies. We did see a forest golem which was the coolest thing so far. After all magic is in Kitaria Fables so magical or mystical beings like golems makes sense.

X35 Earthwalker Kitaria Fables

What’s really awesome though is that Kitaria Fables has local co-op! Something more games NEED to HAVE! This means double damage, double attacks and equipping yourselves in such a way as to compliment each other. One can focus on freezing while the other can burn enemies instead. So yeah, grab your friend, or family and… well… water crops together… right?

We checked some Kitaria Fables gameplay and it’s what we expected. It gives us an animal crossing feeling for sure… but except there’s actual combat, monsters etc. We like that after your big dangerous adventure, you come back to a quiet simple farming. We hope to see more of what Kitaria has to offer. The graphics are good for what it is and what design this game is going for.

Overall Kitaria Fables looks like a very good game. Definitely deceptive at first appearance but it’s a real adventure game. Real weapons, real story, a real enemy/threat and many characters all with your own plots of land to do what you do best… farming. We like the cute but serious design that Kitaria Fables has. The developers ‘Twin Hearts’ have done a very good job with this game. We at X35 Earthwalker look forward to seeing Kitaria Fables come out. Now Kitaria Fables may be cute but that doesn’t fool… the ‘Earth Walk!’

X35 Earthwalker Hotel Life: A Resort Simulation

Hotel Life: A Resort Simulator is a simulation game developed by ‘Ringzero‘ and published by ‘Nacon‘. Hotel Life: A Resort Simulator is said to be coming out the 26th of August 2021 on the Xbox Series X, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PS5, PS4 and PC. Hotel Life: A Resort Simulator is about to bring that relaxed atmosphere to gamers. Let’s take a look.

Hotel Life: A Resort Simulator is another example of ‘you get what it says on the box’. It’s a hotel resort simulation game. Get a lovely holiday looking location, design and build your hotel, get it up and running and then manage it. You are in charge of everything. The design in Hotel Life: A Resort Simulator is simple. Choose the layout, select the doors, decorate the insides and build the best hotel you can think of or always wanted to visit. That’s keeping things simple.

X35 Earthwalker Hotel Life: A Resort Simulation

The focus in Hotel Life: A Resort Simulator is off course to impress customers and keep them happy and coming back. There is some form of progression in this game. You can grow in the number of customers and thus grow in reviews too. That’s right, customer can and will leave reviews of your hotel. So take the feedback and make adjustments. Expand your hotel to become a full fledge resort. Add in an indoor gym for customers to spend their time and get buff. Don’t forget the pool. Maybe an indoor pool so there’s two options: Indoor and the beach outside. Experiment and get good (or we won’t be customers).

X35 Earthwalker Hotel Life: A Resort Simulation

What we like also about Hotel Life: A Resort Simulator is that players aren’t left out of the action. You aren’t just some supernatural holiday building being. You actually control a character inside the game and help out at your hotel. You can wash the dishes, clean up mess, make the beds, place items down, organise and literally get involved. Not only that but you get to hire who you want from chefs and gardeners to entertainers. Then manage your staff to cover all hotel needs. Just make sure you have the budget off course.

X35 Earthwalker Hotel Life: A Resort Simulation

We checked out some Hotel Life: A Resort Simulator and it’s what we expected. Hotel Life: A Resort Simulator does remind us of Sims though. That’s a good thing since we like Sims and know it’s a good game. We like that this is a calming and just straight up relaxing game. No stress, no real difficulty. Just build, get creative, manage and have fun. We like the building freedom as in you can construct things outdoors. There’s even stuff for children. What? Did you forget the some customers and full families with children? Shame on you. Players must take everything into account.

Overall, Hotel Life: A Resort Simulator looks like a simple but good game. Simulation games don’t get the best attention but they serve their purpose well for the most part. Hotel Life: A Resort Simulator has what it needs for hotel holiday simulations. Maybe updates and new content gets added over time. The developers ‘Ringzero’ have done a good job with this game. We at X35 Earthwalker will have to keep an ear open for what effect Hotel Life: A Resort Simulator has in the gaming world. Now Hotel Life: A Resort Simulator may have lovely hotel locations but better ones can be found with… the ‘Earth Walk!’

X35 Earthwalker Dying Light 2: Stay Human

Dying Light 2: Stay Human is a action adventure first person shooter game developed and published by ‘Techland‘. Dying Light 2: Stay Human is said to be coming out the 7th of December 2021 on Xbox Series X, PS5 and PC. Dying Light 2: Stay Human has a big number of gamers looking out for it. So what’s new? Let’s take a look.

Dying Light 2: Stay Human is set in a place called ‘the city’. Is this Harran? Not clear but it could be. We know that the events in Harran were over 20 years ago. Basically the virus completely won and it’s ruined the whole world. The city is one of the last places left for humans. Even in such a serious doomed situation, humanity still wants to fight each other and be evil scum bags, instead of working together. Typical right? But hey, we can still run, jump, swing and parkour our troubles away. Players control a guy called Adan Coldwell (last name most likely is wrong) who basically wants answers concerning his past. He ends up in this city.

X35 Earthwalker Dying Light 2: Stay Human

Come on everyone. It’s Dying Light. We all should know what to expect at this point. There’s going to be zombies, some form of super mutated creatures and violent humans as enemies. In Dying Light 1 there was those super mutated that came after you at night and was a real problem. So we expect Dying Light 2: Stay Human to have an even worst super mutated enemy otherwise Dying Light 2: Stay Human would be a fail by default. We can also expect parkour, running, jumping, swinging, sliding and pulling yourself up ledges etc. Dying Light was already serious so we expect more for this big sequel. So what will they do?

We have seen the three factions in the city and this is how you know the humans here and are stupid. There’s the ‘survivors’ who build many safe zones and are very adaptable to whatever situation that comes their way. ‘peace keepers’ who are basically;ly soldiers who are want to create, keep and enforce law… even on those who don’t agree. ‘renegades’ are basically ex prisoners who want total dominance and control over the whole city. It’s clear who sucks and who seems more normal. ‘Renegades’ are dangerous criminals, ‘peace keepers’ are dictators and ‘survivors’ just sound like people who want to live. We aren’t impressed with the three groups but we do like that they are clearly distinguishable from each other by their uniforms. We have high expectations for Dying Light 2: Stay Humans.

X35 Earthwalker Dying Light 2: Stay Human

We checked out some Dying Light 2: Stay Human and it’s what we expected which isn’t a good thing here. Sure they polished some stuff like deflecting and blocking. You can dash to evade and dodge attacks. There’s mechanisms like jump pads for extra height. The ability to roll on landing to reduce damage, fast swapping and use of items, weapons and crafted stuff. The combat is much better and way faster. We like the dangers of sneaking into nests to get some rewarding goodies but you have to be patient, quiet and keep cool. Huge risk (so they say) but big reward. There’s more to do and there’s more layers to the features in the game which is all very good. We didn’t care about Dying Light 1 and haven’t seen anything to make us care about Dying Light 2: Stay Human.

Overall Dying Light 2: Stay Human seems like a very good game but we aren’t excited. We wanted more. We wanted something different added in as well. Dying Light 2: Stay Human does look fun and clearly better than the first game. We like what we see. We like that there’s parachuting, basically, to help traverse around the city at least from great heights. There’s quite a bit to talk about but we will keep this short. The developers ‘Techlands’ have done a very good job with this game. We at X35 Earthwalker will have to just hear what happens with Dying Light 2: Stay Human. Now Dying Light 2: Stay Human might have the city but even it isn’t good enough for… the ‘Earth Walk!’

X35 Earthwalker Hoa

Hoa is a platformer adventure game developed by ‘Skrollcat Studio‘ and published by ‘PM Studios‘. Hoa is said to be coming out the 21st of July 2021 on the Xbox Series X, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PS5, PS4 and PC. Hoa is looking cool and we like what we see but we have our own concerns and can see issues. Let’s take a look.

Hoa is about… well… Hoa. Hoa is the main character in this huge magical world. There’s huge trees, funny creatures and lots going on. Hoa is out discovering her own story on this journey. Yes, this is weird already. The main things about Hoa, the game, not the character, is that it looks beautiful. That jumps out to you the moment you see it. It’s nice to see something like this in the gaming world. We like art based stuff that looks so good.

X35 Earthwalker Hoa

Let’s get straight to the issues concerning Hoa. First of all the main character Hoa looks pathetic. Totally lame. We saw the beauty of the game and was like “wow, we like this”. We saw a small creature and thought that wimpy small thing is an enemy or A.I. creature. We were wrong. Once we learnt that’s the character bee instantly lost interest in the game. The boy from Limbo didn’t look lame in that game, it fit. Ori looks fantastic in Ori and the Will of the Wisps. This character… we don’t like it. Honestly we hate this character and we don’t even know anything about Hoa (the character) yet. This character is the biggest problem for us. This character, Hoa, alone is enough to probably make gamers write the game off without giving it a chance.

We checked out some Hoa gameplay and it’s what we thought it would be for the most part. We like the Hoa world. We like the different creatures. We like the particle effects. They look great. We like the bunny bug, we like that beetle creature in the forest who is friendly. We like the animations in Hoa too. Very good. Just watch the wings moving on that big caterpillar bug in the forest. Looks fantastic. We like the music and how calm Hoa is. The music is very good and clearly good work went into making it. This is a calming atmosphere and fr gamers to take their time and tho on a journey without fear. What they have done here is great. We just hate the character. Seriously.

Overall Hoa looks like an excellent game. It has many strong points. Looks great, sounds great and most likely gives a good feeling. Game looks easy but it was designed to be that way. So it isn’t a real negative since it’s intentional game design. Hate to say this again but the mai character, Hoa sucks. It looks stupid and is so lame. It puts us off Hoa. The developers Skrollcat Studio have done a very good with this game. We at X35 Earthwalker looks forward to seeing Hoa release. Now Hoa might have a magical world but it’s all dull and boring when compared to… the ‘Earth Walk!’
