X35 Earthwalker Lords of the Fallen (2023)

Lords of the Fallen (2023) is the new massive action Role Playing Game developed by ‘Hexworks‘ and published by ‘CI Games‘. Lords of the Fallen is said to be coming out the 13th of October 2023 on the Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, PS5 and pc.  X35 Earthwalker conquered the first Lord of the Fallen game. Lords of the Fallen coming back bigger and better. Let’s take a look.

Lords of the Fallen (2023) is stepping everything up from the first game, which was a lot of fun, good experience and good game. This new Lords of the Fallen game takes place “more than a thousand years after the events of the first game” in Mornstead. So so much has clearly happened. X35 Earthwalker was a honourable person in the first game and lived through all those many years. For you regular gamer bums out there, you died and will dive into this whole new world… crazy world.  So pick up your weapon and get to it… Ready or not.

X35 Earthwalker Lords of the Fallen (2023)

Now what’s happening? In Lords of the Fallen there’s this demon god called Adyr who was a cruel tyrant. He got defeated. These gods will always come back eventually. Adyr is trying to pull off a resurrection. You as “one of the fabled dark crusaders” is going to stop this… hopefully. So this means players will need to journey through both the realms of the living and the dead which off course will be loaded with threats, dangers and bosses. So expect a big story with lore and encounters.

The enemies are always going to be a big focus of games like this. When you create a big fantasy world, especially a dark world. The expectations for there fore’s and monsters are going to be big. We need dangers of every size. We need creatures that look hellish or cursed. We need threats that can intimidate the player on first sighting. We need foes that can’t be handled and maybe best to avoid… for now. We need things that give chase and punish cocky players. We need things that are deceptive and give players the wrong idea when encountered. There’s so much room for darkness and scary stuff that it has to be used. Lords of the Fallen need an excellent cast of monsters and creatures roaming and alive in this world AND the expectations are higher when it comes to the realm of the dead. We want hellish creatures in the true sense.

X35 Earthwalker Lords of the Fallen (2023)

Lords of the Fallen now has a “vast, interconnected world, more than five times larger than the original game.” This alone is a big step up from the first game and already changes the experience. We hear there’s going to be lots of NPC quests thanks to there being multiple characters. Who they are, what they say and their behaviour will matter due to the setting here in Lords of the Fallen.

What’s the best thing about Lords of the Fallen? Maybe the fact that you can invite a second player into your adventure in “uninterrupted online co-op”. Why it’s not the best thing though is that it’s online co-op and not local. What is with game developers who lack the wisdom to understand that gamers want to play with family and friends OVER online friends. X35 Earthwalker rather grab a second controller and explore with a sibling over random dan online. MAKE MORE GAMES LOCAL CO-OP!!!

X35 Earthwalker Lords of the Fallen (2023)

The realm of the living and dead are both big and described as expansive in Lords of the Fallen. They are obviously parallel so maybe remember this. Both have their own style of obstacles. It’s actually quite common sense. The realm of the living will have buildings, groups, intelligent life, armies, wild creatures, curses and stuff you would imagine in a weapon wielding, cursed open field world. The realm of the dead is about the darkness and nightmares. Expect terrors to be there… lurking. By the way, you travel through both realms thanks to your special but dark lantern.

Lords of the Fallen has character customisation. Apparently there’s a “wide array of visuals options”. We will be the judge of that. There’s also 9 character classes. This is actually exciting. They can get so creative with it. Don’t let us down. Some classes are: Rouge, knight and a fire apprentice. Interesting. Like before, players can upgrade their stats, spells, armour and weapons. Lords of the Fallen did have a better system concerning the weapons and stats over Dark souls. We actually preferred Lords of the Fallen over Dark souls as well. Rumour has it, that there are “100s of uniquely brutal weapons”. There are off course spells and attacks of arcane. Very interested to see how spells and arcane is used in Lords of the Fallen especially seeing what Elden Ring did with theirs.

X35 Earthwalker Lords of the Fallen (2023)

We checked out some Lords of the Fallen gameplay and it’s what we expected. Definitely looking good too. We like the buildings designs of some. The dark looking age is clearly seen. The imagery are still a bit cowardly. There should be more disturbing images for the setting of Mornstead and what it’s gone through historically. Some foes look monstrous but we aren’t intimidated yet. We see snow, mines, destroyed places, burning places, some valley and rocks too. Variety is there. The combat looks familiar. there’s clearly;y a Loy going on here and that’s good to see. Apparently you can “even manipulate the very soul of your foe” thanks to the lantern. We wonder how this will be implemented in a consistent and meaningful way.

Overall Lords of the Fallen is looking like a fantastic game so far. Clearly lots of work went into this and we respect that. We also like the whole death system where if you die, you have one chance to return to the living and you must do so before the creatures of hellish nature get you first. The combat is looking sort of fast paced. bosses will either be around out size or enormous. Hopefully we can meet some characters who become allies. The developers ‘Hexworks’ have done an excellent job so far. We at X35 Earthwalker will keep an eye on this game. Now Lords of the Fallen (2023) may have a vast deadly world but this world is too safe for work for… the ‘Earth Walk!’

X35 Earthwalker Starfield

Starfield is the massive action Role Playing Game that had so many talking about it. Developed by Bethesda and it’s an Xbox exclusive. X35 Earthwalker started his adventure in Starfield and there’s lots happening. There’s lots to say but as usual we gon try keep it on the shorter side. Let’s take a look.

Starfield is more than a good game. It’s an excellent game. Once again we don’t want to hear anything about glitches and bugs as once again that an issue of the pc inferior race. On the Xbox Series X, I haven’t experienced those issues. The most X35 Earthwalker has experienced is two crashes on the same moon when running across the moon surface but never anywhere else. That’s all. Starfield has been a mighty adventure so far. Explored a number of planets, multiple moons, facilities, outposts and more. Know that we are no where near halfway exploration or anything.

X35 Earthwalker Starfield

Some say that the planets are mostly not interesting which is false as most of the planets we have visited have had flora and fauna and different ones too. Some planets of course aren’t designed to have life. just like in real life. A deep freeze planet isn’t going to have dinosaurs as it’s a frozen gas planet. Sure being a fictional universe it would be nice to see ice creatures and monsters. That would make Starfield better. Those barren planets do have resources to harvest and natural formations to scan and discover and yes, it’s interesting for us. Also some of the planets they claim are empty aren’t planets… they are moons. Know the difference.

X35 Earthwalker Starfield

The missions are plentiful and some go deeper than initially thought. We get activities that lead to things from something as simple as hearing an npc talk. Then there’s side missions in areas for full on talking to people which can open up more. There’s then quests you find as you jump around space and near planets. You might receive a transmission which you can either respond… either directly or through your actions like landing on the planet. We was near a planet and found a farming family that had a spacers problem and then leads to repairing satellites and some spaceship battles and then a gathering of families and disputes etc. That’s not a main mission by the way. There’s missions you get for joining factions like a free star ranger or the uc vanguard. They have their own missions and they are cool and go way deeper than the initial task. Being a whole quest in themselves. There’s also missions you can get from these stations either for bounties, or tasks for the Constellation. We even got a quest for being observant and found a item that tipped us off about an activity happening in a far away place. There’s so much happening. It’s crazy.

The most annoying thing about star field though has been the weight management. We hated that in Fallout 76 and we hate it here. It’s easier to manage here but we hate all this limited weight. Spent upgrades on max weight carry for this reason and aimed for a bigger ship also for the same reason. We need something infinite or more options for storing stuff as we must collect all these resources as they are all useful for outpost building, crafting and mods. We need them and lots of them. Building the storages at the outposts costs resources too and they aren’t cheap. Those storages need to hold more to be more viable. Such a shame that the weight management is the worse thing about the game so far.

X35 Earthwalker Starfield

The weapons and gunplay is excellent. There’s many weapons to find and choose from. Submachine guns, single shot rifles, automatic rifles, pistols both heavy single shot and semi automatic. There’s laser weapons, ballistic weapons, particle beam weapons and electromagnetic pulses. Ballistic is basically guns as we know them. Bullets basically. Laser is energy and maybe electrical. Partical beam is a combination of physical and energy damage. Electromagnetic pulse is all about disabling your opponents. Hot them enough times and they will be incapacitated. So pick pocket away. The weapons feels and sound good. The Grendel is definitely ruthless at close range with certain mods. Let’s not forget about melee weapons. We found two awesome blade weapons and they tear the enemies up! There’s skills that upgrades melee giving more damage, damage resistance and even heal as you kill. Crazy huh.

X35 Earthwalker Starfield

Space ship combat has one big problem though. You turn far too slow in Starfield. It’s hard to track and keep up with certain ships when they turn around and fly off faster than you do. Hopefully the change the turn speed, especially if it’s linked to the type of ship that you have. Another thing we don’t like is how the game gives you a bounty for doing things when there’s no witnesses. There was a rude stranger in this abandoned little outpost and we had our partner wait outside some distance away. X35 Earthwalker went in, close the air lock doors and then killed him quickly. We still got a bounty somehow. There were no cameras. so how does that work. How is it recorded as a crime when no one knows… yet somehow they all know. Maybe it’s just video game logic. Similar thing with contraband. How would the scanner know what contraband is. How do they scan it through my ship and cargo. We are aware of shielded cargo but that’s not the point. We will assume this is just “how it works” in Starfield.

X35 Earthwalker Starfield

We truly appreciate and enjoy that you can steal ships. That’s how we got our best ship right now. We saw it just sitting there and there was no caption or pilot around or anything. Hacked through the main door. Then explored around and couldn’t take anything as it would be marked as stealing. So went to the cockpit and was surprised that I could sit down. The option to take off was available. Was thinking the game won’t allow this. X35 Earthwalker took off into the space and just like that, the ship was mine. The ability to steal ships is a great option. didn’t spend a pence or dime.

X35 Earthwalker Starfield

The starting traits do affect some aspects of the game. You can have your parents living in an apartment that you can visit them and sleep in your own bed. You can get a nice house but be in debt. The adoring fan is a real thing and he does have some uses. You can literally start with a bounty and have people after you. You can play as a villain that needs to be stopped or you a good guy with a clean slate. It effects your relationships, persuasion and just the story to some extent.

We even get to see the fauna fight each other. Starfield has a whole food chain system going on. at least amongst the predators and prey. We have seen the corpses of flying fauna and see land predators by the bodies. We have see then actively chase some herding creatures down to kill them. We have seen the prey fight back. It’s good design for these things to happen. We put a video down below to see for yourself. Battles.

Overall we are having a great time in Starfield and it’s what we expected mostly from the game. There’s so much more to explore and discover. Much more missions to complete. More ships to get our hands on. More fauna to scan, fight and loot from. Weapons to get our hands on and improve. Space ship fights to awkwardly win. This game definitely ain’t boring or creatively bankrupted. This game is massive, has lots to offer and different play styles. X35 Earthwalker has many hours in Starfield and plans to spend more hours in on this big space adventure.

X35 Earthwalker Starfield

Starfield is the Open Universe Role Playing Game developed by ‘Bethesda Game Studios‘ and published by ‘Bethesda Softworks‘. Starfield is said to be coming out the 6th of September 2023 on the Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S and pc. X35 Earthwalker is the number one gamer in the world and he has some thoughts on Starfield. Starfield out here trying to be the game of the decade. Let’s take a look.

Starfield is being talked about the most. For a good reason. Bethesda has the biggest job right now with lots of pressure. Everyone is watching this game. Xbox players want this game to be the best thing ever while playstation fans want it to fail so hard. There’s literally a countdown for the release of Starfield on twitter. There’s so much attention and eyes and hype that it has to be good. Starfield needs to be more than Good. It needs to be the best game currently. X35 Earthwalker wants Starfield to be excellent and we are confident it will be.

X35 Earthwalker Starfield

Starfield can best be described as No Man’s Sky’ but more adventure focused, actual combat and less building… really. No Man’s Sky started off good and through patches and updates became a fantastic game and certainly one of a kind. Starfield is now the second like this. Many planets, open universe, space travel, future set, weapons and more. Games like this are easy to get right and make into fantastic adventures. Starfield is set in the year 2330 AD. So much has happened from going to mars, colonisation, space agencies, artifact, united colonies, constellation, wars and more. Quite a lot of lore already and the game isn’t out yet.

We definitely hope that Starfield has actual good combat. Relaxation exploration games do very well the atmosphere and their purpose of a chill time. Those games don’t have enemies and combat. Starfield has combat and threats. So the combat and actual good enemies matter here. That was something No Man’s Sky lacked at first. We need actual weapons and options. We need to see a variety of enemies. We need tons of aliens and in huge variety. If there’s going to be many planets then there needs to be many environments and therefore different ecosystems and therefore different enemies.s Not just reused threats.

X35 Earthwalker Starfield

The only two games we see as close to Starfield either in scale or type of game are No Man’s Sky off course and Elden Ring. Elden Ring impressed people with not only with the gameplay but the sheer size of the game and deep lore. There’s so much to do that you could argue there’s too much (we don’t argue that). Starfield has the room to be as big as No Man’s Sky and lore deep like Elden Ring. Massive space games have all the room and potential in the world. Do not mess this up. Get creative.

We wonder how many vehicles there will be. We wonder what the forms of travel and transportations will be available in the world. A game of this size does need fast travel at least on a planetary level. Whether it’s through built or activated transporters, they need to have something. The ability to get around quick. We do like the mobility in the game thanks to the jet pack. So vertical travel and exploration is a big deal.

The gameplay definitely reminds us of Outriders with No Man’s Sky. You can sprint up and melee enemies, different weapon types and descend upon your foes. There’s nice amount of details presented about the planets. The graphical details are looking real good too. We have many thoughts about Starfield and noticed some things that the developers need to take a look at. Starfield already looks good but we are expecting more. Bethesda needs to go all out here. They would do way better if they had X35 Earthwalker on board or leading them. Now Starfield may have over 1000 planets but that universe is so small compared to… the ‘Earth Walk!’

X35 Earthwalker Cross Tails

Cross Tails is a Strategy Role Playing game developed by ‘Rideon’ and published by ‘Kemco‘. Cross Tails is said to be coming out the 20th of July 2023 on the Xbox Series X, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PS5, PS4 and pc. X35 Earthwalker gives many games a chance… why not this one. Cross Tails is bringing in a whole war. Let’s take a look.

Cross Tails has a funny but easy to understand situation world. There’s two kingdoms. The kingdom of Ranverfurt in the north and the Republic of Hidiq in the south. so what’s the problem? kingdom of Ranverfurt are canine while the Republic of Hidiq are feline. Get it yet? North is dogs and south are cats. It’s Dogs vs Cats. This land has been heavily affected by the war. Things have been bad for a decade. The citizens of both nations clearly don’t like each other and have this basically imprinted in their mind sets to hate each other. Time to explore this world.

X35 Earthwalker Cross Tails

Cross Tails is off course a big story game. Characters, their relationships to other characters like family. History and of course talking and interacting to learn everything etc. The battle side of Cross Tails is where things get real tactical. We talking positioning your units, melee units, ranged units, stats etc. We do like the look of the battle field. The information seems to be displayed clearly. There also seems to be items or things to interact with on the battlefield itself.

X35 Earthwalker Cross Tails

So yeah, exploration is the key. You need to look around, speak to people and get involved with what’s happening in the two nations and this world. If you make progress and truly get to the bottom of this, then maybe you’ll reveal a certain third party. A sinister third party who just might be influencing things. There’s two adventures in Cross Tails go play through. Experience both sides and perspectives of the situation. Felix Arens and Shaimaa Jerbi. Pick one and get to it.

X35 Earthwalker Cross Tails

We checked out some Cross Tails gameplay and it’s what we expected. We have seen games like this before but Cross Tails is made in the year 2023 so we expect the details to be a higher level. Cross Tails looks good and the combat is tactical with multiple variables. Seems deep enough for tactical players to get into. The themes in Cross Tails are serious and clearly want to bring the emotions in or situations that are relatable. Will they do it well?

Overall Cross Tails is looking like a very good game. Maybe even excellent but more needs to be seen and things need to be experienced. Games like this with a whole new world and history, with deep stories are needed. The fans are there. The tactical side with a whole skill tree on top adds a lot to the game. A lot. The developers ‘Rideon’ have done an excellent job so far. X35 Earthwalker will keep an ear open for this game. Cross Tails may have a feud between nations but it would have been solved immediately by… the ‘Earth Walk!’

X35 Earthwalker Warhammer 40,000- Inquisitor - Martyr - Season 5

Warhammer 40000: Inquisitor – Martyr is an action role playing game developed by ‘Neocore games‘ and published by ‘Bigben interactive‘. Warhammer 40000: Inquisitor – Martyr isn’t new at all but what is new is Season 5. Season of judgement. This is what’s coming to consoles. Xbox Series X and PS5. So expect next gen season, said to come out on the 6th of July 2023. X35 Earthwalker doesn’t take orders from Inquisitors. Let’s take a look.

Warhammer 40000: Inquisitor – Martyr – Season of judgement Season 5 on Xbox Series X/S and PS5 brings about what you’d expect. Higher resolution textures, cross-gel multiplayer modes, native 4k support, enhanced shadows, and improved physics. Even the dual sense PS5 controller gets “fully utilised.” So it’s direct upgrade for sure.

X35 Earthwalker Warhammer 40,000- Inquisitor - Martyr - Season 5

So the people already playing Warhammer 40000: Inquisitor should automatically be happy. For those of you who are new listen up. The inquisitor is considered the imperium’s most powerful agent. Key word is agent. You have access to some crazy weapons. Your investigation will carry over multiple planets in the caligari sector.

We checked out some Warhammer 40000: Inquisitor – Martyr – Season of judgement Season 5 gameplay and it’s what we expected. There’s destructible environments, vehicles and towers that you can use. For some reason there’s also a cover system. An action RPG like this definitely has a skill tree. A very big skill tree. There’s 3 character classes as well. So more layers to the flavour.

Overall Warhammer 40000: Inquisitor – Martyr – Season of judgement Season 5 looks like a very good game. Fun too. There’s crafting and rightfully so, multiple weapons. Warhammer 40000: Inquisitor – Martyr – Season of judgement Season 5 has also been described as a “persistent open world”. Last and best of all this game is multiplayer. 2 players locally and 4 player online. The developers Neocore games’ have done a very good job the season 5 of this game. X35 Earthwalker will now take this game somewhat seriously and look at it again. Now Warhammer 40000: Inquisitor – Martyr – Season of judgement Season 5 may have a whole upgrade but it’s still too basic for… the ‘Earth Walk!’

X35 Earthwalker Cassette Beasts

Cassette Beasts is an adventure role playing game developed by ‘Bytten Studio‘ and published by ‘Raw Fury‘. Cassette Beasts is available on Xbox Series X, Nintendo Switch and pc. Right off the bat, X35 Earthwalker can confirm that Cassette Beasts is a fantastic game. No doubt about it. Cassette Beasts is its on thing and does it very well. Take a look.

Basically what’s going on is that you have somehow ended up on in this world. It’s not some normal place on earth. There’s some differences. For starters there are Cassette Beasts… these creatures are very creative and can be dangerous. Very dangerous. People ended up in New Wirral (the island you’re on) but from different places and sounds like different times too. So many questions and mysteries regarding this place. There’s even beings called archangels who are very powerful and not to be messed with. Just looking at some can really hurt.

X35 Earthwalker Cassette Beasts

Let’s make this clear. This isn’t like pokemon. Cassette Beasts is very unique. In pokemon you capture creatures and make them your own, while in Cassette Beasts you record creatures to have a copy of them. So the creature stays free. In pokemon you summon your creatures to battle. In Cassette Beasts you BECOME the creature you recorded. It’s you battling. In pokemon you have HM which are special moves to interact with certain things in the world, like slash down trees, move boulders, smash rocks, go across the seas etc. In Cassette Beasts you unlock permanent abilities from just recording a creature that has that ability. For example there’s a bullet creature that when you record you gain the rocket dash ability where you zoom really fast. Very useful. Lastly Cassette Beasts have fusion. Take two beasts and fuse them together to form a powerful beast that has all the moves of both creatures, has both creatures types as one and improved stats. A game changer for sure. Both are great but we want to make it clear that Cassette Beasts is it’s own thing.

X35 Earthwalker Cassette Beasts

The world in Cassette Beasts, is very lively. There’s puzzles, mysteries, boss battles, numerous creatures, different environments, unfair condition and much more. There’s many to speak to. There’s beast variants and exploration is heavily required. You need to face and defeat the ranger captains who can be real tough and off course find and defeat the archangels who who are even more powerful and at times unfair. So don’t think you are top dog in this world. Cassette Beasts can get brutal at times. Buy items from vendors and be prepared for anything. Here’s some gameplay below.

Here’s more gameplay.

We aren’t going to spoil anything for you. There’s lots to see. It’s truly an exciting adventure. We haven;’t finished the game yet but we are close. Just taking our time and exploring everything. Numerous side quests to complete and creatures to record. Including a metal boxing big dog creature. X35 Earthwalker is the best. So listen to him. So yeah. Cassette Beasts is currently available on the Xbox Game Pass as well. Now Cassette Beasts may have a unique biog adventure but it’s so small and generic when compared to… the ‘Earth Walk!’

X35 Earthwalker front mission 1st remake

Front Mission 1st: Remake is a strategy Role Playing game developed and published by ‘Forever Entertainment‘. Front Mission 1st: Remake is said to be coming out the 30th of June 2023 on the Xbox Series X, Xbox One, PS5, PS4 and pc. Already out on Nintendo Switch. Mechs, combat, strategy, movement? Alright. X35 Earthwalker Knows what mech games need. Let’s take a look.

The story in Front Mission 1st: Remake is normal-ish.  It’s the Year 2090. Battles are fought using mechs called Wanzers. Lame name. There’s two groups: Oceania Cooperative Union (O.C.U.) and Unified Continental States (U.C.S.). They don’t like each other and fight. Huffman island is the only place where they share a border. So yeah, conflict has started. Lieutenant Karen Meure goes missing and you, discharged from the military goes to find her. Of course nothing is simple or as they seem. Can you trust anyone?

X35 Earthwalker front mission 1st remake

You like mech games and strategy? You better. Front Mission 1st: Remake is focused on that to a medium level. So carefully place your units. Use the environment to your advantage and take them out. Customise your Wanzers and pilots. You can switch between the classic and modern mode. So old school players who knew this game can get a treat. Strategy games need to put in that extra layer for information. So make use of the free camera and the NEW tactical map.

X35 Earthwalker front mission 1st remake

When it comes to strategy games, we love to have details and information. We need numbers, designated paths or items, options, difficulty, control and so much more. When it comes to mechs though, there’s a whole lot of other needs. The mech animations, weapons, clear differences between designs. We aren’t easily satisfied.

We checked out some Front Mission 1st: Remake gameplay and it’s not what we expected. Remember it’s a remake so we expect things to be next level but we aren’t getting that from what we can see, or feel. Its style is clearly different. Not our style though. Those who know the legacy of this game will be happy to see this.

Overall Front Mission 1st: Remake looks like an alright game. The graphics are very simple and the. Animations are basic too. We do like the mechs thrusting around for fast movement. The developers ‘Forever Entertainment’ have done an alright job with this. We at X35 Earthwalker hope this game does well. Now Front Mission 1st: Remake may have wanzers but they aren’t advanced enough to be used by… the ‘Earth Walk!’

X35 Earthwalker The Riftbreaker: Into The Dark

The Riftbreaker: Into The Dark is the second world expansion and this game is already big enough. So we just know that this expansion is going to bring the good stuff. The Riftbreaker: Into The Dark is a strategy action Role playing game and a darn good one at that. Now if you want to know more about the base game then read our G-blog on it. X35 Earthwalker himself played this game. So he knows what’s up. Let’s take a look.

Right off there bat we can say that The Riftbreaker is an excellent game. High level graphics and excellent attention to details. The planet looks cool and great to explore. There’s a variety of areas and they got their own biosystem. Now we hear that The Riftbreaker: Into The Dark, as in this new expansion would bring in even a new biome. This is quite biog as that means players will get to explore new parts of the planet that we couldn’t before. More of the planet is being opened up. So get your exploration on concerning the caverns of Galatea 37.

X35 Earthwalker The Riftbreaker: Into The Dark

There’s a whole new way of traversing in The Riftbreaker: Into The Dark. You can now drill and tunnel through the walls of the caverns themselves. There’s new samples to research and even new technologies. The question is how much though? Apparently we also have to save this world from an “Enemy within”. So we got something big down here. That makes sense though. A whole alien planet and there’s an underground section. There has to be something massive down there. That’s what makes things scary-ish.

X35 Earthwalker The Riftbreaker: Into The Dark

We checked out some The Riftbreaker: Into The Dark gameplay and it’s what we expected. It’s dark and a dangerous location. Being underground automatically adds a layer of dangers that the surface won’t have. There’s big underground creatures that will require the new weapons and tech to deal with them and even repel their attacks. Now use these new tech and build your base. After all you can’t talk about The Riftbreaker: Into The Dark and ignore the base building. Buildings is the way and you HAVE to do it. So get to it.

Overall The Riftbreaker: Into The Dark looks like it’s going to be fantastic. They must make sure that players have the option to travel between the surface and the underground. The massive beasts better be actually massive and scary. Use the darkness to make the fear optional for players. There’s actually loads of ideas for tech and weapons in a game like this. So you developers better not hold back. We at X35 Earthwalker will have to see what truly lies within this expansion. Now The Riftbreaker: Into The Dark may have a whole underground biosystem but it’s all to simple and small for… the ‘Earth Walk!’

X35 Earthwalker Fuga: Melodies of steel 2 - X35 Earthwalker

Fuga: Melodies of Steel 2 is a turn based role playing game developed and published by ‘Cyberconnect2‘. Fuga: Melodies of Steel 2 is said to be coming out the 11th of May on the Xbox Series X, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PS5, PS4 and pc. X35 Earthwalker was waiting for this sequal and has specific expectations. Fuga: Melodies of Steel 2 looking like it wants to add a bit more of everything in here. Let’s take a look.

Fuga: Melodies of Steel 2 is back and it wants to be intense. So what’s happening now is that the children, a year later, are on another mission, in another tank. Confused? Let us explain. You did fight and win the war as shown in the first game but then the children got called by pharaoh to help with “the investigation of the recovered Taranis”. The tank goes crazy and heads out “on a deadly rampage”. It traps and absconds with a some people. Now Malt and the remaining youngsters give chase aboard… the Tarascus! What a change. So yeah, load your cannons and get to it.

X35 Earthwalker Fuga: Melodies of steel 2 - X35 Earthwalker

Now if you played Fuga: Melodies of Steel then you already know what to expect from this game. Fuga: Melodies of Steel 2 will play the same but remember what we said. Fuga: Melodies of Steel 2 wants to add a bit more of everything. So picture what you remember and then add more. For example some players will remember making some hard decisions… things will get harder and more important as your choices affect the judgement gauge. This will impact and change “how events play out.” Fuga: Melodies of Steel 2 claims that players are the author of their own story. We hope Fuga: Melodies of Steel 2 can get this ‘your choices affect the story’ mechanic right as many games fail at this.

Another thing that’s new and improved is the Soul Cannon. Thank goodness they made this change as X35 Earthwalker never used the Soul Cannon before. Being the best player of all time, he didn’t need it. The problem is that it’s so powerful and cool but you can’t use it. If you do, that’s a bad thing. So if you play very well and have excellent strategies, you never got to use an awesome weapon. Now there’s an Managarm. This Managarm is like a smaller Soul Cannon and it only drains the energy of a child, not devour their soul. So the kid who powers it will just be unavailable until the next intermission.

The judgement gauge will also unlock you new abilities known as leader skills. These make choices matter more as you want to unlock as many abilities as possible for more strategies and options so players may want to get a blend of both sides. Both Sides? Empathy and Resolution. Not sure why they are on opposites ends as it’s easy to do both but here in Fuga: Melodies of Steel 2, your choices are either one or the other. ‘We strike first’ is from the Resolution side and it lets you and your allies attack first. ‘Careful’ is from the empathy side and it hexes an enemies sight to make its attack fail’. So think about this.

We checked out some Fuga: Melodies of Steel 2 gameplay and it’s what we expected. We liked that the battle system has been upgraded and improved. We hope for more use for the children who don’t get used in combat and mostly warm the bench. It’s good to hear that the improvements and new additions to the battle system was based on player feedback. Shows they are listening. There’s also changes to the branch routes you take on your journey, including calling in an airship to back you up. You can get an air raid, supplies or be transported to another destination. This again adds more to what’s happening. New character as well, Vanilla, first daughter of Gasco. She looks like she means business.

The weight of despair, rage, and loss will shake you to your core in Fuga: Melodies of Steel 2—the RPG of hard choices and tough decisions!

Overall Fuga: Melodies of Steel 2 is looking like an excellent game and a step up from the first game. Many players have gone through some emotions on their journey through Fuga: Melodies of Steel. Well Fuga: Melodies of Steel 2 is saying it wants to turn this up. Expect “despair, rage and loss.” The developers ‘Cyberconnect2’ have done a fantastic job so far. We at ‘X35 Earthwalker‘ are going to keep our eyes on this game. Now Fuga: Melodies of Steel 2 may have a new tank and firepower but it’s not effective against… the ‘Earth Walk!’

X35 Earthwalker Wolcen: Lords of Mayhem

Wolcen: Lords of Mayhem is an action role playing game developed and published by ‘Wolcen Studios‘. Wolcen: Lords of Mayhem is said to be coming out the 24th of March 2023 on the Xbox Series X, Xbox One, PS5 and PS4. It was already out on pc but we never even heard of this game while on pc. X35 Earthwalker has the best written gaming content. Wonder what Wolcen: Lords of Mayhem has got. Let’s take a look.

Wolcen: Lords of Mayhem clearly plans to have a big and deep universe. In Wolcen: Lords of Mayhem you play as one of the three “Children of Hemlock”. When you was a child you got rescued by the grand inquisitor known as Heimlock. Through him you grow up and become a member of the Republican army of the Purifiers. They are basically the perfect soldiers and their main objective is to defeat and purge the “supernatural and profane”. So time for you and your adoptive siblings to head out on a journey or should we say mission.

X35 Earthwalker Wolcen: Lords of Mayhem

Wolcen: Lords of Mayhem is described as having fast paced combat. So expect that real action. Rush your foes or even dash into them. Swing at them, crush, slice and destroy. Dodge and get out of the way of attacks and danger while using your powers. The powers better be good. Like actually cool and interesting. Games like this tend to have similar abilities to each other and it’s nothing exciting. Wolcen: Lords of Mayhem has the space and universe to bring in some crazy things.

Wolcen: Lords of Mayhem also has a “great variety of weapons”. This is what we want to hear but these weapons need to get the job done and have good balancing. We don’t want the case where some guns are just useless. It’s hard to do but we want a variety of choice that’s actually valid. We explosives, homing, lasers, heat, repulse, drill, force, plasma, light etc. We won’t give away everything. Figure things out for yourself.

X35 Earthwalker Wolcen: Lords of Mayhem

We checked out some Wolcen: Lords of Mayhem gameplay and it’s what we expected. Especially from a game of this style. Combat is looking smooth though. The speed and action is there and the animations on movement and attacks are looking very good as well… maybe even excellent. The graphics and visuals are excellent and will look better on Xbox Series X. The details are top level from what we have seen. You will be moving somewhere and see a whole battle going on in the distance or below. That’s some excellent game design right now.

Overall. Wolcen: Lords of Mayhem is looking like an excellent game. There’s lots we like and it could be our thing. They better not mess this up. They can easily have something great here. How they deliver the lore and reveal the Wolcen: Lords of Mayhem universe will matter here. The developers ‘Wolcen Studios’ have done an excellent job so far. We at X35 Earthwalker like to see good work and to see it succeed. Now Wolcen: Lords of Mayhem may have a new deep universe but it’s far too small and shallow for…  the ‘Earth Walk!’
