X35 Earthwalker Hotel Life: A Resort Simulation

Hotel Life: A Resort Simulator is a simulation game developed by ‘Ringzero‘ and published by ‘Nacon‘. Hotel Life: A Resort Simulator is said to be coming out the 26th of August 2021 on the Xbox Series X, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PS5, PS4 and PC. Hotel Life: A Resort Simulator is about to bring that relaxed atmosphere to gamers. Let’s take a look.

Hotel Life: A Resort Simulator is another example of ‘you get what it says on the box’. It’s a hotel resort simulation game. Get a lovely holiday looking location, design and build your hotel, get it up and running and then manage it. You are in charge of everything. The design in Hotel Life: A Resort Simulator is simple. Choose the layout, select the doors, decorate the insides and build the best hotel you can think of or always wanted to visit. That’s keeping things simple.

X35 Earthwalker Hotel Life: A Resort Simulation

The focus in Hotel Life: A Resort Simulator is off course to impress customers and keep them happy and coming back. There is some form of progression in this game. You can grow in the number of customers and thus grow in reviews too. That’s right, customer can and will leave reviews of your hotel. So take the feedback and make adjustments. Expand your hotel to become a full fledge resort. Add in an indoor gym for customers to spend their time and get buff. Don’t forget the pool. Maybe an indoor pool so there’s two options: Indoor and the beach outside. Experiment and get good (or we won’t be customers).

X35 Earthwalker Hotel Life: A Resort Simulation

What we like also about Hotel Life: A Resort Simulator is that players aren’t left out of the action. You aren’t just some supernatural holiday building being. You actually control a character inside the game and help out at your hotel. You can wash the dishes, clean up mess, make the beds, place items down, organise and literally get involved. Not only that but you get to hire who you want from chefs and gardeners to entertainers. Then manage your staff to cover all hotel needs. Just make sure you have the budget off course.

X35 Earthwalker Hotel Life: A Resort Simulation

We checked out some Hotel Life: A Resort Simulator and it’s what we expected. Hotel Life: A Resort Simulator does remind us of Sims though. That’s a good thing since we like Sims and know it’s a good game. We like that this is a calming and just straight up relaxing game. No stress, no real difficulty. Just build, get creative, manage and have fun. We like the building freedom as in you can construct things outdoors. There’s even stuff for children. What? Did you forget the some customers and full families with children? Shame on you. Players must take everything into account.

Overall, Hotel Life: A Resort Simulator looks like a simple but good game. Simulation games don’t get the best attention but they serve their purpose well for the most part. Hotel Life: A Resort Simulator has what it needs for hotel holiday simulations. Maybe updates and new content gets added over time. The developers ‘Ringzero’ have done a good job with this game. We at X35 Earthwalker will have to keep an ear open for what effect Hotel Life: A Resort Simulator has in the gaming world. Now Hotel Life: A Resort Simulator may have lovely hotel locations but better ones can be found with… the ‘Earth Walk!’

X35 Earthwalker MechWarriors 5: Mercenaries

MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries is an awesome game from the amount we have played so far. MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries is an xbox exclusive. It’s a action mech simulation game where yo control different mechs and battle against other machines, vehicles and mechs in many missions. We haven’t played that long but sports far yes, this game is awesome. So we wanted to say a bit about this. Let’s take a look.

Firstly we must explain that MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries wasn’t exactly what we thought it would be. We got some stuff wrong. We thought there was a multiplayer where players faced off and you had to earn the means to deploy and use mechs in the battlefield. That part was wrong. We were right about everything else though. The vehicles, aircrafts, mechs, battles and there is a co-op mode where you can play and work with others in the missions using the mechs and pilots the main player has available. We do hope they work on a straight up multiplayer battle mode.

X35 Earthwalker MechWarriors 5: Mercenaries

We at X35 Earthwalker already produced a gameplay video of MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries. It contained the tutorial which had quite a bit of action. Wow have since then gotten way better at the game, acquired multiple mechs, got two pilots and travelled around quite a bit. There is quite a bit to do but doesn’t feel like it though. In the earlier parts of the game you feel restricted. Your first big mech the ‘Centurion’ has weapons that you can’t really change. We got new weapons but the mech isn’t able to wield them. What a mech can use is based on their design. We got a new mech which is smaller and weaker and it can hold the new weapons but one at a time. The customisation of MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries needs to be stepped up. There’s a weight limit for each mech, so players better not cross that limit. We want more freedom with the mechs.

Now that’s also a big plus about MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries. Its very realistic. Your mechs having weight. The design of the mech dictates what it can be equipped with. Repairs and equipment swapping takes days to complete. Also, your mech can lose parts and limbs if damaged too much. You can even lose a whole weapon forever if for example the arm it was on got blown off. How realistic MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries is is a strong positive. You haver details and lots of information on your screen. Your HUD is loaded like it would be controlling a giant combat mech. Even the controls are so weird. The MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries controls aren’t bad… but they are very weird. You control the bottom half of the mech and the top half separately. So you control the legs to go where you want, change direction, build up speed and even brake when needed while you control the top half to adjust your view and aim… all at the same time! It isn’t easy. You need to practice, unless you are X35 Earthwalker (which you ain’t) who is the greatest gamer ever and gets use to it almost instantly.

X35 Earthwalker MechWarriors 5: Mercenaries

Once you are on the battle field things get real in MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries. You will encounter stationary defences, small vehicles like tanks which can be equipped to do different things like artillery, long range harassment or close range damage, aircrafts with heavy weapons, and off course mechs who are the biggest threats. The others are straightforward to fight but mechs have options. You can target the limbs or parts of mechs for different effects. Taking out a mechs leg will prevent it from moving. Destroying an arm would off course prevent it from firing whatever weapon was carried on that arm. If you straight up destroy the head/cockpit then you kill them in the fastest way possible. It’s tactical. You need to pick your fights. Decide whether to fight close up or keep your distance. Never be outnumbered in a mech fight. So bring allies. When you bring in ally pilots you can actually have a squad on a mission but be careful… they can die as well and that means you lose them. Pilots over time with successful missions can get stronger. So losing a veteran pilot is a big loss. Keep them alive in MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries.

We have lots to say about MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries but that’s all for now. We are happy to play more and hopefully get more options as we progress. By the way, the mech market sucks all kinds of crap. They never have anything good in there. Super expensive garbage. We at X35 Earthwalker hope the developer eventually brings out a full fledged multiplayer battle mode. Now MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries may have advanced big mechs but those things would all be destroyed by… the ‘Earth Walk!’

X35 Earthwalker MechWarriors 5: Mercenaries

MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries is a new action simulation game developed and published by ‘Piranha Games‘. MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries is said to be coming out May 27th 2021 on the Xbox Series X and Xbox One. It’s already out on PC though. So this does count as an xbox exclusive (or xbox console exclusive). Giant mechs with serious firepower sounds good to us. Let’s take a look.

MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries is all about the giant mechs for sure. Here’s the story. It’s the year 3015. Thousands of star systems have been colonised. This system is what’s called the ‘Inner Sphere’. This vast space. You are a mercenary. You inherited a mercenary company which use to be something special and big. It nearly got destroyed by other factions. You out here looking for revenge and glory. So travel across the stars and blow up some stuff.

MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries has lots of mechanical combat and destruction. So you can expect ground vehicles tanks and off course other mechs.  There are aircrafts so make sure your aim is good. There’s bases with advanced defenses. There’s a number of things to fight and all will guarantee some explosions and big battles. Remember that MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries is also described as a strategy game. So don’t try to just run out there guns blazing thinking you’ll be okay. You won’t. Unless you play on the baby difficulties.

There’s a campaign yes but there’s more to MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries. There’s an instant action system where you can customise and start your own battles. Like how you can set up matches in Supreme Commander 2 to just play for fun. There’s also 4 player co-op too so you can bring others into the battle to maximise the destruction. Games that have co-op automatically gain more approval points from us. Games to play with others is such a great feature.

We checked out some MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries gameplay and it’s not what we expected. It’s more detailed than we thought. We like the information on the heads up display. We like how the visor shakes and moves a bit as you stomp around. You can equip and be prepared for close to even long range combat. We wonder how many types of mess there are for players to control and if there’s any modifications and adjustments to movement speed and mobility. We have numerous questions concerning the mechs though. From what we have seen though, things do look very cool.

Overall MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries looks like a very good game. Have very little detail on the campaign though. MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries coming to the Xbox was a smart move as now we hear about it. The graphics look very good. The details on the mech parts and customisation is very good for sure. The developers ‘Piranha Games’ have done a good job with this game. We at X35 Earthwalker will have to see what this game truly has to offer. This is now the second mech xbox exclusive game on the way. Exciting times. Now MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries have futuristic heavy weapon mechs but even those can be blasted away by… the ‘Earth Walk!’

Coffee Talk has been classed as a visual novel game or simulation or adventure or whatever… to us it’s a coffee game. It was developed and published by ‘Toge Productions’. Coffee Talk came out on the Xbox One, Nintendo switch, Playstation 4 and PC. Coffee Talk got our attention and we decided to take a look and ended up playing it. This isn’t normally our type of game but this was amazing. This G-blog is going to be quick fire. Let’s take a look.

The world of Coffee Talk is a familiar one. Not on the surface but once you meet the ‘people’ you’ll understand why. The game takes place in America, Seattle… in the year 2020. A great year for us by the way. So this game is as modern as it gets. The citizens aren’t humans, well not all of them. There’s werewolves, orcs, nekomimis, dwarves, vampires, elves, succubus (demons), mermaids and even an alien. There are a bunch of non human beings but with human problems. You as the player is a Barista (dude who serves drinks). Your job is to serve drinks… that’s it. No seriously, that’s what you do. The customisers come in and you just serve them, listen to their problems and hear what’s going on. Oh and just relax.

Let’s quickly sum this up. The coffee shop only opens at midnight. So it’s a late night place. When a customer comes in, they will normally sit down and order a drink or start talking to you, which ever is first. You must then make that drink for them. There are ingredients for the player to mix and combine to create different drinks. For example you can use coffee as the base, primary and secondary to create espresso. Over time you unlock more ingredients which means more options. This is important as some customers mix things up and ask for a specific drink which has specific ingredients. If you don’t know them, then you will mess up an order which doesn’t help your customers relax. There’s a load of different drinks and you have to discover them for yourself. Our advice to gamers is to experiment and try to learn as many drinks as possible.

Coffee Talk is all about relaxing and listening (well for us reading) to others and hearing what’s going on. Hearing their stories in the night time of Seattle. You can tell Coffee Talk was inspired by the feeling of having a warm drink at night or maybe after escaping the rain and trying to warm up and talk with your friends. It rains quite a bit in that game. What adds to the atmosphere is clearly the music. Even better you have control over the music. You can through your mobile phone device cycle through and select the music you want playing. Coffee Talk does have a very good selection and some are more relaxing than others while some are more bopping and can get the body moving but still on the chill side. The music plays a big part for us and we are glad that’s it’s there. We certainly know our favourite tune, that’s for sure.

To make things even more relatable and interactive there is a social media that everyone seems to be using called Tomodachi. All the characters in the game are using this. As you interact with the characters you will gain access to more information concerning them in Tomodachi. As you can see below there are four stages to each character. In stage 1 the bar is empty and all you can see is the name of the person. Stage two you get simple basic information. When you max it out you’ll see their hopes, bit more personal information and even their likes. So make sure to come back from time to time to see the new information and learn more about them. It was interesting to learn more about Freya. Makes things more relatable for sure and realistic.

As you listen to characters and go through the days, you will see their stories continue. For example you see how things with Freya develop concerning her goal to become a successful book author, you get to see her hard work and struggles fuelling up on espresso (unhealthy). You will see Rachel and her issues with her dad, here she is right and wrong and what drama surrounds that. You are in their business and they tend to be comfortable and come to you and your coffee place. It’s the get away from everything else. A place to chill, relax, drink and talk. Every character has a story and will unfold. Even the Barista (you) has some mystery and it’s up to the players to try and figure some stuff out. A lot of what we are hearing from these characters sounds similar to what we have heard in real life in some cases. So anyone whom plays this will understand or relate.

As we said before, Coffee Talk isn’t our type of game at all but this one got our attention and we had a great time with this game. Like we got real into this game. Very few games have done what Coffee Talk has done to us. We even started a little tradition where before we play this game we must make a cup of green tea. We had to be prepared. So yes Coffee Talk is a visual novel as it’s a store for sure containing stories. It’s a simulation as you take the role of the Barista. It is an adventure as each day you go in hoping to get an update on the characters situations. It was exciting getting to know what will happen and how we can make it all more exciting or cheer someone up with a drink.  In addition there are extra game modes like where you have to try to serve as many correct drinks as possible in a period of time from memory. There’s a bit of extra content but we did wish the main story was longer. We wanted more. Yes, we know there’s endless mode.

Sadly, Coffee Talk is another great game that got little to no exposure. We haven’t heard anyone talk about this game. What a shame. This is something way more people should be playing. No it isn’t as huge and detailed as Halo 5 Guardians or Final Fantasy XV but it’s excellent at what it is. It does what it says on the box. We plan to make more videos of this game in the future. The best way to play Coffee Talk is to play at night, alone and with a warm drink. The developers did an excellent job. Now Coffee Talk might be fun and relaxing but it’s no where near as relaxing as… the ‘Earth Walk!’

Overpass is an off road simulation racing game developed by ‘Zordix Racing‘ and published by ‘Bigben‘. Overpass is said to be coming out in the first quarter of 2020, most likely February, on the Xbox One, Nintendo Switch PlayStation 4 and PC. Overpass claims to be very different from all the other games. It’s to do with the off road stuff. Let’s take a look.

Overpass is all about the off road action. So expect nice smooth tracks. There will be none of that. All the terrain will be hazardous and dangerous. Go through the woods, across mud, up hills and not just simple hills but also steep hills with risky slopes.  Like literally this isn’t just racing. It’s more like obstacle courses with variety.

Since Overpass is about driving, let’s focus on the vehicles. We know that there are quad based vehicles and buggys. The best way to describe Overpass in terms of their vehicles is to think of the game ‘Smugglers run’. That was a real fun game. You had so many rigged and tricked out vehicles that were all made for the huge hills, rough terrain and annoying trees. They were rough vehicles, not polished or smooth looking at all. So Overpass should be like that.

The developers have made it clear that Overpass has a very detailed and realistic physics engine. This physics design is said to allow players to have “precise and meticulous control of your speed and acceleration”. This adds a skill requirement. So if players do not master this skill then their vehicle may flip over, lose grip or momentum. Brands like Suzuki, Artic Cat and Yamaha are here on the vehicles too.

We checked out some Overpass gameplay and it’s what we expected from what we have seen. There’s some creative obstacle courses, lots of wild tracks and tests for the players to face. There’s 2 or 4 drive wheels, differential locking, transmission type: “the player has been given all the tools they need to discover the real vehicle options that will let them adapt their driving to the terrain”. We are currently liking what Overpass is doing here by going for a different racing approach. It’s more like an adventure than a race. Going across bridges, balancing and managing speed while tackling slopes, going over absurd roads and blocks etc. It’s different and really does represent some real off road driving. Hopefully there will be great variety amongst vehicles.

Overall Overpass seems like another racing game but more like a hybrid between ATV quad power racing 2 and Smugglers Run. There’s a career mode where you get to manage your vehicles and choose which is the best for each track. The graphics look very good. We d like what Overpass is ten  to do though. The developers Zordix Racing have done a good job with this game. We at X35 Earthwalker will have to see what Overpass will do. Now Overpass may have the vehicles for off road racing but one thing that’s perfect for all terrain is… the ‘Earth Walk!’

Bum Simulator

Bum Simulator is a new adventure simulation game developed by ‘Ragged Games‘. Bum Simulator is said to be coming out this year 2019 on the Xbox One, PS4 and PC. Now there isn’t any fun in being a bum, hobo, homeless whatever you call it. So gamers will have to see what this simulation offers. Let’s take a look.

In Bum Simulator players take control of a… well… a bum, a homeless guy, a hobo. You are down in life for whatever reason. There are hints that suggest someone or some people are responsible for why you are in this mess though. You literally start from the bottom. Wandering the streets, begging for money, interacting with people, well that’s if they actually want anything to do with you. Things start off rough indeed.

Bum Simulator

So whats the aim of Bum Simulator? You don’t just be a bum forever. There’s actual options. You can aim to get a job, start over again and make a honest living. Or accept that you are homeless and adapt to the situation making your own home in the streets, gather food and make the best of your situation. Or become a legend, messing with police and have many fear you. Or even go after the very people who got you into this mess in the first place. There’s actually quite a bit to do.

Bum Simulator

Move around the streets and find drinks and food. Bum Simulator has some grub around. Of course be careful as some stuff might be harmful. Sure you are desperate but life is still important. Just because this liquid is in a Coco-Cola bottle doesn’t mean it’s cola. There may be a burger bun lying around so you know… dinner time. Search dumpsters and piles in a hope of finding anything cool or useful. Like we said, just because life is hard don’t just sit there and complain, get up and do something. Honestly when you are a bum, what do you really have to lose.

If you find or salvage anything good, cool or of interest then you can take it to the pawn shop and get some cash for it. Hey, just because you are a stinking bum doesn’t mean your money is worthless. You can find maybe a sculptor for example and it’s worth £50 or $50. Cash that in and go buy a meal. Find a shopping trolley and use that to easily transport your goods. Gather materials like cardboard boxes or pieces of cardboard in order to build a shelter. The building system sort of reminds us of Sims, with everything highlighted green. Then get some zinc to reinforce that shelter and prevent rain from getting in and soaking you.

Bum Simulator

There are people around in Bum Simulator so you my want to try interacting with them. Ask money or help from a nicely suited dude walking past or socialise with other bums. There could be strength in numbers. Decide how you react to people also. You can behave better than them or even get vulgar which isn’t good but what do you care… you bum! Form allies, strike fear, give the police some trouble it’s all up to you. Just think about what you are aiming for and do what you can get to there efficiently.

We checked out some gameplay and it’s what we thought it would be. An actual homeless game that has progression, options and goals to achieve. Obviously games like this aren’t suppose to be taken seriously. Just for laughs and trying crazy things. We like the amount of mechanics in Bum Simulator from the interactions, to building, top finding and selling at a pawn shop, to decorating your home or shelter and the goals you can aim for. There also some strange abilities too like drinking a certain drink allows for a force blast attack thing. Strange right?

Overall Bum Simulator looks like a silly but good game. Rag doll mechanics, power up drinks, combat, evading police, progressing and building up. There’s actually quite a bit going on in this game. The best part is that it’s an actual homeless game where you start from the bottom and actually can aim for something. The developers ‘Ragged Games’ have done a good job with this game  and we at X35 Earthwalker we know that many will enjoy this. Now Bum Simulator may have some silly fun but nothing is more fun than… the ‘Earth Walk!’

ace combat 7: skies unknown

Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown is a new flight combat simulation game developed by ‘Bandai Namco‘. It is coming out the 18th of January 2019 on the Xbox One and PS4 but the 1st of February 2019 on the PC. It’s been a while since we’ve heard of a game from this genre. Let’s take a look.

Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown is clearly trying to make things as realistic and clean as possible. Games like this are not easy to pull off and they don’t have the largest fanbase from what we have seen but when a good one arrives, it does stand out. Ace Combat 7: Skies unknown is focusing on the battles and making things intense. They are bringing powerful machines and some serious weapons.

ace combat 7: skies unknown

Not a lot of information is given concerning the planes and weapons but all we have are general descriptions of them. The vehicles were described as “most advanced war planes ever developed” and “authentic and futuristic aircraft to fly”. The weapons have been described as “ultra-modern super weapons”. This should already give players an idea of what to expect and it builds up hype. Only problem is… Will Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown live up to this hype?

Concerning the graphics everything looks very good so far. The developers described the visuals as photorealistic thanks to their improved graphics engine. They claim to have “highly detailed cityscapes” too. Players can also expect virtual reality from Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown. So players can bring themselves into the action but Play Station players have an advantage. There are exclusive missions developed specifically for the Sony PlayStation VR.

ace combat 7: skies unknown

We checked out some gameplay and it did increase out interest in Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown. We saw different plane types including a big one that releases many smaller ones that fight by themselves. Some of the technology is more futuristic but that works well as that will add mystery as to what players can get their hands on next. Off course the weather and the different environments do impact your aircraft and what it can do. So be careful of lightning.

Overall Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown looks like a very good game. The planes look cool, the weapons look good too and destructive. The graphics are very good indeed. The sounds are good too. There seems to be quite the story going on in this game and we hope it plays well with the games setting. The developers ‘Bandai Namco’ did a very good job with this game. We at X35 Earthwalker look forward to seeing this game out there. Now Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown may have intense dogfights and futuristic weapons but all of that is child’s play when stacked up against… the ‘Earth Walk!’

Beyond Blue

Beyond Blue is a new adventure simulation game developed by ‘E-Line Media‘. It s coming out in the first quarter of 2019 on the Xbox One, PS4 and PC. This is another one of those games where you explore, get relaxed and enjoy what you see. Let’s take a look.

Beyond Blue was inspired by Blue Planet 2 nature documentary. There is suppose to be some educational value too. So not only will you have an adventure but will hopefully learn something to. Beyond Blue is et in the near future and underwater creatures are in danger because of all large number of fishings, climate change and plastic waste. Players will lead a research team, as Mirai, who just needs to gather information on what these changes are doing to the ocean life.

Beyond Blue

Players will have to manage resources, improve their technology, track down certain animals, get some information and learn what you can. Off course players are given limited time to do all this so think about what you want to do and how to do it. You can use drones to go collect stuff for you and other tasks, or go out yourself and swim around.

So yes, Beyond Blue isn’t just simply another relaxing exploration game but there is an objective and other objectives too. Off course thanks to the visuals, location and sounds, players can get relaxed because when you stop and see a large whale just going past and minding it’s own business, you will feel calm. Unless you are afraid of the water and whales. Come on, don’t be a wimp. It’s just a whale.

Beyond Blue

In terms of the types of creatures (obviously sea creatures) you will encounter we have seen fish and schools of fish. There are dolphins, hanging out in groups and having fun. Expect some whales and different types of whales like blue whales even. You can encounter an octopus too. They will swim away from you though so keep that in mind. What ocean sea creature game doesn’t have sharks? Not this one. There are sharks as well. There are large sea turtles which just mind their own business. There are deep sea creatures too like the angler fish which does make the game more interesting.

We checked out some Beyond Blue gameplay and it’s what we thought. It doesn’t have a huge story, there isn’t any enemies… really. If that angler fish spots you in the water, would it eat you? So probably there is enemies but they are more like natural creatures just doing their thing. Again, if you enjoyed Abzu (which we wrote about) then you should enjoy Beyond Blue. Beyond blue is just more serious.

Overall Beyond Blue seems like just another exploration relaxing game due to how calm it is and the environment. The lighting in this game is done very well. The graphics are very good The game has multiple educational factors too like video clips from the Blue Planet 2 documentary, facts and information to collect on sea creatures and more. The developers ‘E-Line Media’ did a good job with this game. We at X35 Earthwalker are not looking forward to this game. There isn’t anything for us in this game. There is an audience for this type of game, we just aren’t a part of that group. Now Beyond Blue may have a whole ocean but even that’s too small when compared to… the ‘Earth Walk!’

Jurassic World Evolution

Jurassic World Evolution is a new strategy simulation game developed by ‘Frontier‘. It is coming out the 12th of June on the Xbox One, PS4 and PC. Pretty much everyone with a TV know what Jurassic Park is. Well this game is meant to keep it going. Let’s take a look.

Jurassic World Evolution put players in charge of their own Jurassic world. That’s basically it and the story. Players get to create and manage their own world. Remember Jeff Goldblum? We honestly didn’t but the Jurassic park star will be the one advising players through the game and providing useful information which is actually awesome. Getting a Jurassic Park actor for the game.

So in your own Jurassic World build everything like research facilities and attractions. Players will be completely in control of not only their dinosaur theme park but all operations also the whole island, but also the surrounding isles as well. That’s right. It’s more than a simple building stuff game. There are many things to manage and take into account when building. Keeping everything in check and even handling the dinosaur breeding. With your technology grow new dinosaurs, get your researchers out to dig sites and discover and unearth fossils.

Jurassic World Evolution

The developers have confirmed players can run multiple parks. It’s like a business, when one park is doing well, why not branch out and have multiple. If all goes well then that’s more money for you; but also like business their is some risk to that. If one thing goes wrong, you then have to fix it which will require players to be observant and problem solving but then you make lose track of something in another park and if control is lost, players will see all their parks sparking chaos everywhere. How? Well what if a Tyrannosaurus Rex got loose and started to snack on your customers? Well… do something about it!

The developers want players to feel the pressure when they finally realise that something small goes wrong. For example leaving out essential facilities that customers and visitors are going to need will negatively affect your theme park. Major issues, like a fence that keeps dinosaurs in, broke down then well it’s Jurassic park all over again. The issue may be that a roller coaster breaks down and that off course will require lots of money and time to repair and handle but do you have the money and time? Stuff like this will turn the sweat factor up for players when handling their theme park

Overall from what we know, as not much information is given, is that Jurassic World Evolution is definitely for a certain audience for people. Some have described this Jurassic World Evolution as Jurassic world combined with ‘Rollercoaster Tycoon‘. This should explain a lot about this game. There is so far nothing about this game that interests us at X35 Earthwalker. The developers ‘Frontier’ are making an interesting direction with their game. We at X35 Earthwalker will not be looking forward to this game but we know there are some gamers who will. Now Jurassic World Evolution has many dinosaurs but not even those old creatures are enough to stop… the ‘Earth Walk!’

Aven Colony is a new sci-fi city-building strategy game developed by ‘Mothership Entertainment LLC’. Aven Colony is coming out 25th of July for Xbox One, PS4 and PC. This game looks interesting.

The story is very simple in Aven Colony. The player must build a new home for humanity. Where are we? We believe the world is called Aven prime. This world is a super dangerous hazard place as it has: shard storms, low oxygen atmosphere, dust devils, toxic gas eruptions and extreme electrical storms and apparently this isn’t everything. Sounds very suitable for humanity to stay. This entire world has different biomes as well. There are arctic areas, wetlands and deserts as well. The Sandy Gulch is actually a snowy arctic area. This does make sense as an area that gets very little rain or snow with grounds that can’t grow plants is a desert. Vanaar which does look like a nice jungle-y green area which we wouldn’t mind taking a holiday to but the weather in Aven prime is fatal.  So exploration is definitely a huge part of this game.

In the world of Aven Colony you are the new colony governor and you must supervise your colonists. If you do very well, you will move up in rank (even though you are in charge). You can reach the rank of Expedition president. This can be done by providing your colonists with health care, police order, entertainment, good food and creating nice jobs. You can hold elections, that’s if you feel confident that the colonists still want you in charge. Players can even set social policies to influence the behavior of the colony.

Aven Prime have many secrets, we heard. The single player campaign will reveal some of the many secrets. Some, not all. This means that players must “split up and look for clues” and do some hunting for secrets. Whats also great is that there is a sandbox mode where you can customise any mission. So have fun with that. If you haven’t figured it out yet, building is the main thing of this game. For humanity to survive you will need to build structure for growing food, manage air quality, convert resources, houses for people, store resources, mine ores, research house your colonists, grow food, store resources, manage air quality, mine ore, convert resources, perform research and manufacturing and much more. You can upgrade all your infrastructures.

Also, humanity isn’t alone here. Apparently you guys have neighbours. There are aliens here. Notice that we said aliens and not alien. There are several alien life forms here. Like deadly plague spores and giant sand worms. Don’t we all love giant sand worms? There is something worse though. Apparently there is a vicious fungal infection known as “The Creep”. The creep sounds very interesting though, like is it intelligent also and plotting the downfall of humanity trying to live here?

We checked out some gameplay and we can straight up say that this looks like a well done game. The graphics are great, no info concerning the sounds though. The designs of the buildings, vents etc all look good. The environments look fantastic. They certainly look alive, especially the jungle looking area. The weather changes as the days go on so adjusting and surviving is crucial. The wildlife looks great. We saw some very cool bird creatures and their flying animation is done very well, moving almost like real birds. Oh and the sand worm looks real intimidating. Imagine seeing that outside your window.

Overall this looks like an impressive game. Those who like building simulations and management then this will be for you. It’s quite deep and looks great. The aliens are a nice twist. The developers ‘Mothership Entertainment LLC’ did an excellent job with this game. This game is worth checking out. We really like what they did with this game but what we like even more is… The ‘Earth Walk!’
