Forza Horizon 5: Hot Wheels is a racing game off course and it’s being developed by ‘Playground Games‘ and published by ‘Xbox Game Studios‘. Forza Horizon 5: Hot Wheels is said to be coming out July 19th 2022 on the Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One and PC. An Xbox exclusive off course. This is an awesome upgrade for the game. X35 Earthwalker will speak. Let’s take a look.
Forza Horizon 5: Hot Wheels is what you’d expect from the game title. Imagine Forza Horizon 5, which is a fantastic and phenomenal game (better than anything PS5 has right now. Don’t get mad), and combine it with Hot Wheels. What do you get? The beautiful big world of Forza Horizon 5 with it’s ranger cars + the tracks and race course designs of Hot wheels. Yes, that’s right. You love to see it. YES, YOU DO!!
Yes, it’s that simple. Forza Horizon 5 with Hot Wheels tracks. Big orange stretching roads. This just simply adds a new dimension to this already excellent game. Forza Horizon 5 has some of the most beautiful and best graphics in all of gaming. Massive area of Mexico to explore. Mountains, rocky areas, ancient ruins, forests, water, beach, city and a bit more. Now all these become literal backgrounds for viewing as you race high above the area. These Hot Wheel tracks, well most of them are really high up and you can see everything Forza Horizon 5 has to offer. It’s going to be phenomenal.
We checked out some Forza Horizon 5: Hot Wheels gameplay and it’s what we expected. Big long stretches of Hot Wheels roads. High up in the sky, giving that beautiful view. There’s also Hot Wheels like hazards like lava beneath you. There’s also gravity defying loops and hills. There’s even speed boost pads/strips on the ground to give your vehicle that much needed speed boost. So yeah, slightly new mechanics. It also seems like some parts of the map have been tweaked or changed to fit this new design. We do hope they add way more actual hazards too. Then have settings to manage this.
Overall Forza Horizon 5: Hot Wheels looks like it’s going to be absolutely fantastic. We have said a lot already. The developers ‘Playground Games’ have done an excellent job so far. We at X35 Earthwalker look forward to seeing what else this game will bring. Now Forza Horizon 5: Hot Wheels may have a brilliant and simple idea but it’s still inferior to the ideas of… the ‘Earth Walk!’
Severed Steel is a First Person Shooter game developed by ‘Greylock Studio‘ and published by ‘Digerati‘. Severed Steel is said to be coming out the 22nd of September 2022 on the Xbox Series X, 21st on Nintendo Switch and 20th for PlayStation. It came out 2021 on PC but it seems like no one cared. X35 Earthwalker has already noticed some specific things about Severed Steel. Let’s take a look.
In Severed Steel you play as… Steel. Steel is described as nimble. Just watch her move and you’ll see that nimble isn’t the word for it. This girl got almost all the movement needed. She out here running along walls and sliding around. She’s also only got one arm. So yeah, that’s quite the disadvantage but don’t give up on her yet. Steel does make up for a missing arm with a useful attachment. Very useful attachment. So go out there and shoot the enemies.
Now just by looking at Severed Steel, experienced players should already notice certain, familiar mechanics. Severed Steel feels like a combination, to some extent, of Super Hot, Titanfall 2 and Vanquish. The sliding around but most importantly the bullet time. There’s a lot of bullet time. Opportunities for lining up your shots and taking in the situation. You are also running along walls for that extra mobility. So rush an enemy, go along the wall and get behind them, then slide past with bullet time to end them with style. We like this as we need games of different types. An action focused more casual shooter game is respected and needed. Good job.
We checked out some Severed Steel gameplay and it’s mostly what we expected. Did we forget to mention that you can interact with the environment and even destroy it? Well we didn’t forget. The environment is destructible. You can even throw objects at your enemies to give you the advantage. With your arm cannon you can truly blast away the competition. We like the abundance of mobility. There’s even flips and dives in Severed Steel. There’s a variety of weapons from regular firearms to shotguns and even explosive weapons like a grenade launcher. Get to it.
Overall Severed Steel looks alright so far. Severed Steel isn’t a big story adventure. Nope. It’s just straight action with lots of bullet time, mobility, gunning and different weapons. We would like more information concerning the difficulty of the game and the enemies. The enemies have been described as “dynamic, unscripted, squad-based AI”. We don’t trust that right now. The developers ‘Greylock Studios’ have done a alright job so far. We at X35 Earthwalker need to see more. Now Severed Steel may have lots of action but it’s not big enough for the ‘Earth Walk!’
Solstice is a hack and slash action adventure game developed by ‘Reply Game Studios‘ and published by ‘Modus games‘. Solstice is said to be coming out the 20th of September 2022 on the Xbox Series X, PS5 and PC. Solstice is looking real serious right now. X35 Earthwalker likes to see big new games that are bringing some fire.
Solstice is definitely looking big right now. There’s a ‘holy kingdom’ of keidas which has a balance situation going on. Then wraiths show up. These feral creature invade and they are all about getting rid of all living things. There are beings called chimeras who are like hybrid warriors. They alone can face and defeat the wraiths. We won’t say more.
In Soulstice, you control two sisters who have basically been reborn as chimera. Briar got a huge strength boost. Superhuman levels. Same for her toughness. Her sister, Lute, was sacrificed to bind her soul to her sister. She is now a ghost who has mystical powers. That’s how hybrids are formed after all. Two people must unite and one must be sacrificed. So Briar and Lute are powerful enough to face the wraiths now. They have multiple abilities and weapons to bring to this battle.
Don’t forget that wraiths can corrupt their victims/prey and can even take it to the next level to possess their bodies. They overran a city and really ruined it. Briar and Lute get sent there to handle the situation and get the city back… but off course the group or Order they are working for has hidden agendas. So yeah, can they be trusted? We don’t even trust Soulstice. The city f Elden has multiple secrets and to find and puzzles to solve.
We checked out some Soulstice gameplay and it’s what we expected. Lots off team work with your spirit sister. A ghost sister has many abilities. Stuff you would expect as well. Shielding, pushing back, attacks, enhancing and lots of support. We see a variety of attacks coming your way. We do like that the wraiths look like wraiths. They are ghoulish, long, and actually look like they come straight from a horror world. Scary maybe. There’s detail here. Enemies need to look scary and dangerous… most of the time. We know there are different types off course. For example there’s: Wraiths, Corrupted and Possessed. Let’s just say Lute may be able to help with that.
Overall Soulstice looks like it’s going too be a very good game. We like the animations and the visuals of the game. The combat looks smooth and that matters here. As always there’s so much we can say but we will leave it there. We can see all the potential and mechanics that can be done here in Soulstice. The developers ‘Reply Game Studios’ better not mess this up. This can be big for sure. We at X35 Earthwalker will have to see how big Soulstice becomes. Now Soulstice may have hybrids and wraiths but those beings are pathetic compared too… the ‘Earth Walk!’
Hellpoint is a sci-fi action role playing game developed by ‘Cradle Games’ and published by ‘tinyBuild’. Hellpoint is said to be coming out the 12th of July 2022 on the Xbox Series X and PS5. It’s already out on previous gen consoles, Nintendo Switch, linux, mac and pc. Hellpoint went for that high difficulty formula that many players enjoy. Let’s take a look.
Getting straight to the point. Hellpoint is almost 2 years old. You should know the deal by now. If you liked Sekiro Shadows die twice, Lords of the Fallen, Mortal shell or Demon’s Souls then you should quite likely be feeling Hellpoint. You have health, stamina and another meter to manage too. You have heavy and fast attacks, can dodge, vanquish bosses in arenas etc. You know the drill.
Hellpoint coming to next sen consoles, Xbox Series X and PS5 players can expect an upgraded game. Expect better visuals, controls, frame rates and performance. Not only next gen upgrades but also the fact that there’s a new dlc called Blue Sun. So there’s something extra right there. Trailer down below.
Overall Hellpoint doesn’t look like our thing but the fans of Hellpoint should be happy. The best thing is that Hellpoint has multiplayer, so why not bring in a buddy to help you slay enemies. The developers ‘Cradle games’ are making some moves, especially with the couch coop. X35 Earthwalker will just have to wait and hear how this game does. Now Hellpoint might have dlc on the way but it won’t be as good as… the ‘Earth Walk!’
Street Fighter 6 is a fighting game developed by Capcom. Street Fighter 6 is said to be coming out on 2023 on the Xbox Series X, Xbox One, PS5, PS4 and PC. Street Fighter 6 has got quite the number of people talking about it. Their views and opinions mean nothing when compared to the words of X35 Earthwalker. Lastly this must be said. X35 Earthwalker has been avoiding all spoilers and leaks. We aren’t interested. We will wait. Let’s take a look.
Now once again we must say this again. The first few seconds of the trailer we knew that Streets of Rage 6 was going to be excellent. The graphics and visuals are looking fantastic. Top level for sure. The developers should be proud. You know work has gone into it. This is needed as Street Fighter 6 needs to be the biggest and best Street Fighter yet. The streets look more alive than ever before. Speaking of the streets being alive, players can take part in the streets… literally. Street Fighter 6 has a single player mode called ‘World Tour’. You have your own fighter and you make a name for yourself in the streets. Facing other characters, running around the city, interacting with others and objects like smashing bins and more. This off course is a big deal and new thing, especially in the fighting game genre.
Street Fighter 6 also has a Battle Hub which as the name implies suggests will be the centre for all the combat and competitive action. Like a lobby where players can meet up, fight, win, or lose (if you suck) but off course forge rivalries. Maybe there will be events here too. Making rivals in video games isn’t easy. Gears of War 3 was good at that but Gears 5 is terrible at that. Let’s see if CapCom is smart enough and good enough to make this work. X35 could easily do it. Now fighting Ground is where you will find all the modes in Street Fighter 5. The Drive System is what is setting Street Fighter 6 apart from all the others. The details are all on the official website. We understand the: Drive impact, parry, overdrive, drive rush and drive reversal. These are going to bring in whole new ways of playing and strategies. Waiting for that special parry, when to force your way through to your opponent. When to rush down etc.
Speaking of new. We saw Chun-Li parry. Are parry’s back? Like in Third Strike. This is definitely a good thing and it brings in some more skill play and timing. now here’s something that Capcom needs to do. If they don’t do this, we will bash them for a good period of time and from here on see Capcom as idiots. They need to bring in Hugo! Hugo is the most hyped character in the whole game. We have seen Street Fighter tournaments, especially Third Strike and street fighter 4. When Hugo gets his command grab, the crowd reacts EVERYTIME. When Hugo gets his ultimate and he counts eins, zwei, drei… the crowd counts with him. That’s not happening for Ryu, Chun-Li, Guile or even Zangeif. Only Hugo. A master Hugo player is exciting. Hugo was always a lower tier character and struggles against many characters but in the hands of a master, Hugo looks over powered and unfair. The ultimate reward of hard work and persistence character. Hugo sucks but if you master him, he becomes so powerful. So bring Hugo in. Hugo fans want him, new players would want to try him. Hugo players will master him. Not a dlc character but a main roster character.
Lastly we have seen the Guile Street Fighter 6 gameplay video. Guile is actually looking powerful now. He was a strong character off course but didn’t look powerful. Now he looks strong. Has excellent details on his arm muscles. Triceps and biceps looking real strong. His hair is on the more realistic side and we rock wid dat. His moves look like they have far more impact. His moves are disciplined but basic. Which is what we expect from an American soldier. Smart and simple attacks that deliver the damage and work. It fits his style. Flash kick is not flashy at all. We aren’t happy about that. Flash is in the name of the move. His sonic booms look great. Less flashy but it actually looks like an actual force. Not mystical though. So we approve of that. His ultimate is exciting. Looks good and is consistent with his fighting style. We do like that characters now have multiple options. For example Guile’s ultimate in Street Fighter 5 was sonic hurricane. In Street Fighter 6 sonic hurricane is there but it isn’t the ultimate move. Think about that. What we do hate is the stupid customer Guile has on in the video. That dungaree thing doesn’t suit him at all. He looks stupid. So yeah, give other and better options. Guile putting his foot on you before finishing you is a statement and we respect it.
Overall we are looking forward to Street Fighter 6 and we are going to see other character gameplay videos. There better be a Hugo video! Street Fighter 6 looks amped up and hopefully should be the Street Fighter of them all. Parries will bring in that game changer and allow for some comebacks. The developers ‘Capcom’ have done an excellent job so far. We at X35 Earthwalker are looking forward to this game (If Hugo is in it). Now street Fighter 6 may have the biggest fighter yet but it’s too small for… the ‘Earth Walk!’
Street Fighter 6 is where the fighting game community is at right now. Street Fighter 6 is being developed by Capcom off course. The announce trailer has dropped (arrived) and there has been many reactions and views concerning it. People like Smug, Justin Wong and Maximillian dood (inferior to pegasus) have reacted to it. Now off Course X35 Earthwalker is smarter and above all of them. So what X35 says is what truly matters. Let’s take a look.
Now from the first few seconds of the trailer we knew that Streets of Rage 6 was going to be excellent. The graphics and visuals are looking fantastic right now. You know work has gotten into it. The streets look more alive than ever before. Speaking of the streets being alive, players can take part in the streets… literally. You get to run around in the streets. This must be the new Street Fighter 6 single player mode called ‘World Tour’. You have your own fighter and you make a name for yourself in the streets. Facing other characters, running around the city, interacting with others and objects like smashing bins and more. This off course is a big deal and new thing, especially in the fighting game genre. This is the right direction. Modern games are getting bigger, flashier and have whole new features and mechanics.
The first thing we hate about Street Fighter 6 is Luke’s stupid hair! They need to change that. It’s horrible and makes him look like an idiot. We do like the character designs of Luke (minus his hair) and Jamie. Both about to be great additions to the world of Street Fighter. Jamie looks cool with an energetic attitude with a flashy combat style. We love flashy. The graffiti style of the Capcom logo was excellent. Shows that this is a new era, a new style, a new direction, a new generation, like how there’s a new generation of characters now. We see box head minions emerging which again shows there’s a single player mode… World Tour. Chun-Li is here and so is Ryu. they had too be here. If they weren’t here, we wouldn’t even touch the game. They are pillars of Street Fighter and should always be present. Now for their character design…
Chun-Li looks amazing and it makes sense. Her greatest strength is her kicks. So off course a wise person would make them stronger. Her thighs are much stronger and bigger than last time. Meaning she kicks harder. Her gastrocnemius muscles look fantastic too. Realistic and beautiful. Ryu is looking more like Zangief in the face. Less realistic and more blocky. Body wise he is great but face wise, he doesn’t look good but he looks like he continued his training, as expected. Next we are seeing all new combat mechanics. We know about them but won’t say here. These new things changes a lot and adds more to the Street Fighter game. We are seeing special parries and enhanced attacks. The special effects are excellent too, adding impact and newness to the combat.
What do Capcom they need to do? A number of things. Street Fighter 6 has to be a big success. They can easily fail but if they have wise leaders like X35 Earthwalker… which they don’t, they can do well. First things first, put Hugo back in the game! Look at the opening scene of the trailer. Hugo is on the bottom left on the screen that says ‘Giant Attack’. Hugo is the most hyped character in the whole game. Not a good character but when someone with skill masters Hugo, he is the most entertaining to watch. Bring him back and you’ll bring in players and content. Next we have seen some new mechanics but there needs to be a level of deepness to them that’s enough to add complexity to the game but keep the form of Street Fighter. Next there needs to be new controls. Some keyboards have input short cuts to make doing moves and combos easier. The battlefield needs to be even. We heard there’s controls that allow doing combos and special moves easier. This will make things easier for new players and encourage more to play with the experienced. Good move to bring in a explorable world, single player story. Great games like Street of Rage 4 stayed exactly how it use to be. A arcade beat em up but nothing new that was a major change or addition which means once you complete it, you no longer really needed to play it. Streets of Rage 6 won’t have the problem.
There needs to be unlock able rewards like customisation for your characters, unique skins that have to be earned. Multiple different character taunts that can be activated during matches. Titles that can be equipped for prestige and making statements. In game currency that you gain for playing not buying which can e spent in a store. Another separate currency which can be bought with real money to be used in a completely separate store. Gaming is a business after all. They got to make money too. Lastly… matters fact. We won’t mention it. Let’s see if others notice too. That’s all for now, there’s way more to say but we won’t. street Fighter 6 is going to be fantastic… as long as the developers make smart moves. Now Street Fighter 6 may have a hyped trailer but it’s not as hyped as… the ‘Earth Walk!’
The Quarry is a horror narrative game developed by ‘Supermassive Games‘ and published by ‘2K‘. The Quarry is said to be coming out the 10th of June 2022 ion the Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One, PS5, PS4 and PC. The Quarry is another big story narrative design making game. Delivering great narrative games is not that hard but there’s things that need to be taken into consideration. X35 Earthwalker is the expert here. Let’s take a look.
The story in The Quarry easy to understand. Basically a whole group of teenagers, 9 of them, have the Hackett’s Quarry camp all to themselves for one last night. They are the camp counselors. They are all by themselves in a forest upstate in New York. So no adults, definitely no children and off course no rules. On top of all that, it’s summer. So you can imagine how this will go. Teenagers, during summer, camp all to themselves with no rules. What do you think is going to happen?! If you know, then you know. Interestingly though, things then take a turn for the dark and bad side. As in dangers, horrors, life and death moments and more. So you know, make decisions that could get someone killed or make you regret it later.
The Quarry, being a big horror story game, automatically brings in all the attention. Players will think of previous games like this. For example: Until Dawn, Man of Medan, Little Hope, House of Ashes and Detroit: Become Human. Now those, especially Detroit is are big titles that many youtubers and streamers have played and made content on. Millions have watched and enjoyed them. Emotions, decisions, mistakes, and characters deaths are remembered. So the Quarry already has high expectations and will be judged deeply. We hope the developers were prepared.
If you want more details, go play the game. You should know the deal by now. There’s a story and you follow the characters along. You make decisions and see how the story unfolds. The developers claim there’s “life or death decisions around every turn”. We hope so. Many past big narrative games fail when it comes to this. They were too easy. Hardly felt in danger a lot of the time. The games need to be harder. It needs to be more punishing. It should be that if players pay attention and use some logic they can make good decisions… unless the player is a sucka called Berleezy. Look up Berleezy and Detroit. There’s things we recommended to the previous games but the developers aren’t wise enough to listen to X35 Earthwalker who is wiser, smarter and a better developer in every way.
The Quarry also claims to be an “unpredictable night of horror”. We are hoping it’s unpredictable. These horror narrative games can’t be completely unfair though. These games need to have an auto save permanently record system where players can’t undo their choices unless there’s an in game choice to reconsider. Players need to live with their decisions. If they need to try again, they have to delete and start again but the game should keep count if this is their second attempt or not. They also need to remove the feature to pause the game during timed decision making parts. No pausing. You have limited time for a reason. Gameplay needs to be mixed up too. Quick time event, point and click, walk around and interaction.
We checked out some The Quarry gameplay and it’s what we expected. Giving us a real Until Dawn feeling. Little Hope focused on character traits and if ignored had some consequences. Detroit: Become Human had many variables that determine the ending you got and we hear there’s well over 40 different endings in that game. The Quarry we hear also has numerous variables which determine how the story ends. This means more replayability as well. Now check this about. It’s been said that each of the 9 teenagers have 10 to 12 different ways they can die each. Meaning that keeping them all alive is king to be a tough task. That’s what we want to hear. We also heard that the play length time of a run is around 10 hours. That’s big! We like that there’s bonuses for playing again. Not only are there collectible cards which we won’t explain here but there’s a death rewind feature. You can undo and retry the first 3 character deaths in your next run through of the game. Some mercy. This seems like the biggest game of its type yet.
Overall The Quarry is looking excellent so far. The Quarry is clearly aiming to be the biggest and the best of these big narrative games. There’s lots of replayability, lots of death possible, difficulty seems very high, the setting is good and is definitely more like Until Dawn which is the best of the Supermassive games… games. We still have some concerns mainly regarding the characters themselves and their interactions. They are teens alone in a camp with no rules. Will it be realistic? Will hey hold back? Will there be drama. Will The Quarry wuss out? We will have to see. Oh and no gravity defying unrealistic towels this time. No one believed that crap in Until Dawn. The developers ‘Supermassive Games’ have done an excellent job so far. We at X35 Earthwalker aren’t excited for this game but we will see what its got. Do not disappoint us! Now The Quarry may have many ways for teens to die but non of them would work on… the ‘Earth Walk!’
MADiSON is a psychological horror game developed and published by Bloodious. MADiSON is said to be coming out the 24th of June 2022 on the Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One, PS5, PS4 and PC. We hear it will come to Nintendo as well but no exact date. MADiSON is out here trying to mess with the players head. We hope they can actually pull it off. X35 Earthwalker will be keeping these G-blogs quick. Let’s take a look.
MADiSON has a sort of simple premise. You play a dude named Luca. Luca wakes up locked in a dark room. Hands covered in blood. There’s a demon called MADiSON. It’s forcing Luca to continue a “gory ritual” which apparently started decades ago. Fun fact: A decade is 10 years. People learn things with X35 Earthwalker. The things Luca has to do are described as “abominable acts”. We have an idea of what abominable acts are. You gone find out.
So the question of the game MADiSON is, “Can you finish the ceremony?” Well common sense says don’t do it but it wouldn’t be a horror game if the character didn’t do something stupid. Now this is good for a psychological horror. Messing with the players head is the goal. Normally psychological horrors don’t really have an enemy chasing you down but instead it’s all about making the player never want to move or go complete their objective. Too scared to get in room type horror. No cheap jumpscares. Will MADiSON follow that formula or try to do something different.
We checked out some MADiSON gameplay and it’s what we expected for the most part. There’s darkness everywhere. Close spaces, tight corridors, dark doorways. Good lighting as well. Very good lighting. The typical horror game stuff is here as well. Sudden figures appearing suddenly with loud noise at times to scare players. MADiSON also has the take picture concept. So get that camera in handy and take lots of pictures… at your own peril. Don’t forget to develop your pictures too. We won’t say more for obvious reasons.
Overall, MADiSON seems like another big psychological game. Are we excited? No. Visage was also going to be the big psychological game and it didn’t bring us in. It wasn’t as difficult as we hoped either. Ignore all the reviews from those youtubers and streamers who played the demo. They aren’t credible. We hope MADiSON does well. They need to get real disturbing. The developers ‘Bloodious’ have done a good job so far. We at X35 Earthwalker will keep an eye out for this game. Now MADiSON may have a gore-y ceremony but it’s not disturbing enough for… the ‘Earth Walk!’
Moo Lander is a 2D platformer game developed and published by ‘The Sixth Hammer‘. Moo Lander is said to be coming out the 27th of May 2022 on the Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One, PS5, PS4 and PC. We heard it’s also coming to Nintendo Switch. Moo Lander sounds very funny for sure. X35 Earthwalker is intrigued. Let’s take a look.
Moo Lander does sound silly but the story is sort of serious. Basically you are the last hero of a dying cosmic civilisation. You control a lander. What’s the objective? You are after milk… We aren’t joking. In this universe, milk is the most important energy source in the universe. Milk can only be found on the ancient planet of the alien cows. You aren’t alone, you have your AI… hamilton. So go find that device. A device that is said to be able to produce infinite amounts of milk. That’s Moo Lander for you.
Fly around, dodge threats and projectiles in Moo Lander. Stay alive and fight back against the different enemies on this planet. The main problems are off course the cows. The big bad bosses are the cows. There’s apparently over 20 different types of cows. The cows also have an “advanced cow AI”. Each cow boss has it’s own attacks, patterns, special abilities and ways to deal with you. Fear the cow!
We checked out some Moo Lander gameplay and it’s mostly what we though it would be. Feels more like controlling a ufo, especially when attacking a land based enemy. You can unlock new abilities, gain new weapons and use camouflage modules. Best of all is that Moo Lander is but for co-op. All of you on one screen facing. There’s competitive mode too. As in Lander vs Lander and even Lander vs cows. ?You can control the cows to crush your friends. The fact that we have ancient cow planet with alien cows who will seriously kill you is funny. We won’t be milking cows anymore after this. Cows fighting back. They have had enough.
Overall, Moo Lander seems like a good game. It’s said to be hand crafted concerning the visuals. That off course is a lot of work. Gather and manage your milk. Conquer the cows, get some milk and go crazy with the abilities and weapons. The developers, have done a good job so far. We at X35 Earthwalker will have to hear what Moo Lander makes happen. Now Moo Lander may have super alien cows bu those things are just burgers for… the ‘Earth Walk!’
Deadcraft is a zombie survival action game developed by ‘Marvelous‘ and published by ‘XSEED games‘. Deadcraft is said to be coming out the 19th of May 2022 on the Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PS5, PS4 and PC. Deadcraft is not trying to be another zombie game. It has interested us. X35 Earthwalker will have his say. Let’s take a look.
So here’s the run down of what’s happening Deadcraft. It’s a world that has been completely ruined by a deadly virus. You control a guy called Reid. He is half zombie. Now being half zombie comes with it’s challenges. People may not like you or trust you. This means you can’t just live with humans in a colony really. Your survival is one thing. Survival. You got to survive. In this ravaged world.
Now there’s multiple things you need too do to make that happen in Deadcraft. You can arm yourself, grab all kinds of weapons and get to work on all dangers that comes your way. You can also grow your own army of zombie followers. This alone is a very cool concept. It’s not just slay the zombies and it’s not just destroys the humans. You are in between the two. You can communicate and co-operate with the humans. This off course leads to visions, impacts and opportunities.
Remember we mentioned survival? Well. Yeah, they are taking that sort of seriously. Not as serious as Metal Gear Survive though. In Deadcraft, players need to get food and water. You will also need money too. So earn your living. We did mention that you can communicate and co-operate with humans. So survival does take some work. You can’t just sit there. You could always just take what you want by force.
Deadcraft takes things to another zombie level. You are half zombie, remember? This comes with abilities your own. They are quite comical. Some have to do with your messed up arm. There’s powers for sure. There’s also a crafting system too. You can build some real nonsense weapons and defence turrets etc. Watch the official trailer and you will see examples of that. This game has a Deadrising silliness but not as comical and silly. You can get creative, have fun and fight for your survival while keeping your brains.
We checked out some Deadcraft gameplay and it’s what we expected for the most part. It’s serious but goofy still. It’s destroying zombies and crushing humans. Running an army. Fighting with allies, crafting all kinds of stuff and being cool while doing it. Just look at the gameplay for yourself.
Overall, Deadcraft seems like a good game. It’s definitely doing something different and we like that. Half zombie dude with abilities, trying to survive in this messed up world. Deadcraft has what it takes to explode. Deadrising fans should like this. We definitely need to see more of this game though. We need to see more of the combat and other factors. The developers ‘Marvellous’ have done a good job so far. We at X35 Earthwalker will have to see what Deadcraft brings. Now Deadcraft may have a half zombie but that is not impressive when you compare it to… the ‘Earth Walk’
