Minecraft is absolutely popular and we’re sure that every gamer has heard of it by now. It’s the world made of blocks. Now this game straight away is for some gamers and not for some. Many say that this game is boring and that there is nothing to do. In a way, this was true; however Minecraft relies on the players imagination and creativity. It’s originally for the creative. We at X35 Earthwalker know that there is much do.

In this game the objective is pretty much whatever you want it to be. Do you want to build a house? Do you want to build a ship? Do you want to build a underground base or a tree top hideout? It’s up to you. When you start your own world you will have a map and nothing else. You could get wood from trees and then turn that wood into tools like pick axes and axes to get cobble stone and more wood. Then with the cobble stone you could make stronger tools and get coal. Then turn some wood into sticks and combine with coal for some torches. Use the cobble stone to make a sword. Then build a furnace using the cobble stone. Go digging underground and eventually you’ll find some iron ore. Then put that in your furnace and smelt it by using your coal as fuel. Now with iron, you can make stronger tools and even make armour. You see what we mean? As you take action, you will discover and find new things. Then those new things will bring about new ideas, in which the player will then take action and the cycle repeats in a way. The game is literally dependent on the player.

We remember our first moments playing Minecraft and boy was that fun and exciting. The most memorable moment was how scary the game could be when you was accidentally caught some distance from your safe home or shelter and it was turning night time. This was bad as at night is when all the monsters of the game show up. You see, during the day there are many A.I called ‘Mobs’, like cows, pigs, chickens, wolves and more. Most don’t hurt you and aren’t capable of harming you but at night, aggressive mobs spawn and they don’t think twice about attacking you. Such Mobs include ‘Spiders’, which can even climb walls and more to get to you, ‘Zombies’, which just brainlessly (get it?) walks towards you, ‘Skeleton’ which fires arrows at you rather accurately if you ask us, ‘Creepers’ which has to be the most famous thing in Minecraft. Creepers are mean creatures that chase you down and when near you they will explode in an attempt to take you with them to the grave. There are some more mobs though like the ‘Enderman’ who can teleport but when you only have a stone sword and no armour and then you see these enemies appear everywhere, making horrible noises and chasing you down, trying to kill you in the middle of the night, it can get scary. It’s too dark to see your way and don’t get us started on the infamous sound you hear when a Creeper is near and about to blow up.

There are 3 game modes in Minecraft: Survival, creative and story. Survival is the traditional mode of Minecraft where you must work for everything, you must mine everything and get everything yourself. Creation is where you get unlimited of everything in the game and therefore can solely focus on building whatever you want. Story mode (which isn’t free) is an episodic point-and-click narrative-driven graphic adventure where your choice and actions effect the story. Now X35 Earthwalker only plays ‘Survival’ mode as he believes it’s the main and proper way to play. Survival is the main game mode but ‘Creative’ mode became incredibly popular since it allowed players to build whatever they wanted with ease. It should also be mentioned that you can fly in Creative mode and do weird stuff like summon mobs and whatever you want. Be sure to try our all three and see what’s your favourite.

This is where some gamers get bored. They finally have all diamond armour and all diamond equipment including a sword. They have a big fort like house and a farm area for the cattle. They now wonder what do they do next. It;s up to you. We have seen many crazy and cool inventions. X35 Earthwalker created many things in his world. He created a giant fortress house protected by two huge walls. First wall is made of dirt while the outer wall is made of cobble stone. Underneath the fortress is his largest mines system in his world. He digged it out so far, lighted it up and placed ladders, doors and even a mine cart system within. Next two the fort is a glass pool raised in the air and lighted by glow stones. On the other side is a snow shelter (made from 100% snow). At front of the house is a redstone gate system operated by levers. Further up in front of the house is a large Igloo with a pool inside lighted by torches. In the center of the pool is an opening that leads down. If followed you come to a secret undreground netherworld temple with lava and everything. In the back of the world is X35 Earthwalker’s summer house, made of stone and decorated blocks with a unique underwater glass tunnel system. He even built a sky rail to take people from the fortress to the summer house. Probably his greatest creation is his sky village. A whole village built in the air over the sea.. He even built a giant hedge maze.

Our friends have built some crazy stuff as well. The point is that there is literally so much to do in this game. In another world we even built a giant lookout tower of pure stone. Thanks to updates the game survival mode got a main objective. The player must first locate a stronghold. This is where the end portal can be found. In order to find this strong hold, which is underground, you will need the help of an ‘Eye of ender’ to find it. Once inside and the portal is located, you must activate it by using 12 Eyes of ender. Once activated hop in to head to ‘The End’. There you will found lots of ‘Endermen’ and the feared ‘Ender dragon’. Lately, since December 19th there was another update which included so much stuff. Such things like:

New blocks: Chorus Flower, Chorus Plant, Dragon Head, End Gateway, End Rod, Purpur Block, Purpur Pillar, Purpur Stairs, Purpur Slab.

New items: Chorus Fruit, Popped Chorus Fruit, Dragon’s Breath, Elytra, End Crystal, Lingering Potion, Water Splash Potion, Potion of Luck, Tipped Arrow, Boats made from Spruce, Birch, Jungle, Acacia, and Dark Oak.

New mobs: Shulker, Stray, Husk, and Skeleton Trap Horses.

Updates to terrain generation:

Added new Tutorial world.

Added Elytra, which let you glide around the world when you are wearing them. Jump while falling to start gliding.

Boats are now controlled differently and can have multiple passengers.

Brewing now requires Blaze Powder as fuel for the Brewing Stand.

Updated crafting interface to allow crafting Firework Stars and Fireworks.

Villages now generate naturally in the Taiga biome.

Added Amplified Terrain option.

Added Fallout Mashup Pack trial.

Thanks to this update there has been new inventions battles and explorations for players. You could even try to take on the Nether and it’s Nether fortress’s which have dangerous mobs. The Nether has always been a notorious place. Other than from looking scary, there is fire everywhere, huge cliffs and drops, dangerous enemies like the zombie pigmen and the ‘Ghast’ which shoots fireballs which explode and set things on fire. Scary fact though. If a Ghast lands an attack on the nether portal you used to get there, it shuts the portal down, so make sure to keep your flint & steel on you at all times. Otherwise you may end up trapped in the Nether.

As you can see, it all comes down to what kind of adventure do you make for yourself. Are you going to explore random generated ruins in the desert or search the oceans? If you want more then you can always check out minecraftmaps to play some maps created by the community, anything from adventure to parkour to survival maps. There are even some horror maps. Minecraft has truly expanded. So now there is lots to do. Go build something. The developers, ‘Mojang’ truly made an interesting game.

If you haven’t been playing world of Van Helsing: Deathtrap yet, then shame on you. Seriously, this is a great game and wonderfully done. Now one thing that is for certain is that this game is built quite heavily around strategies and timing. That’s what you would expect from a tower defense action RPG but this game does it exceptionally well. We decided to share some information, tips and strategies from X35 Earthwalker, the master strategist himself.

Firstly the main thing is what character class did you select, as this does effect almost everything. If you selected ‘Sorceress’ then know that you have the ability to attack multiple lanes at once and hit enemies hard from a distance with powerful magic attacks. If you selected ‘Mercenary’ then you can literally get up and personal with the hordes themselves and slow them down with brute force. If you selected ‘Marksman’ then you can get everywhere very easily with high mobility and gun down hordes at a distance keeping you safe. Now all three are powerful and useful in there own way.

The Sorceress hits hard with the lightning attack and starts of with a cool icebolt ability that allows the player to freeze a certain enemy in place, a ice global ability (Icy wind) which inflicts ice damage on everything and a ability (Transmutation charm) to select a trap and whenever it kills, you get increased essence. The Sorceress is a major multi tasker. You can be lightning zapping multiple enemies at once, as your main attack has a spread and chain effect, while keeping one enemy temporarily in place with your ice projectile, gaining increased mana thanks to a well placed trap and attacking everything on the map at the same time with her global ability. That’s awesome. Never forget that the main fighters is the traps. You are just the deciding factor in these battles but you must rely on your traps. Keep your distance at all times as the Sorceress literally bruises easily. A few slaps and you have to get out of there but make sure to leave a lightning attack to their face as you do. Since she is 100% dependent on her mana, make sure to firstly, spend some upgrade points in ‘Meditation’ which increase maximum mana. Second make sure to upgrade her lightning ability, especially in ‘Surge of power’ and ‘Thunderbolt’ to reduce cost of attack, increase how long enemies are stun for, increase range of attack and increase the chance of an instant kill. ‘Frost mastery’ upgrade for Icy wind is essential as you can then keep hitting everything around the map more frequently meaning you are everywhere at once. The best defense you can have it to upgrade the ‘Chaos armour’ ability which has a chance of forming a bubble of invulnerability for 2 seconds whenever you have been hit but as a Sorceress you are practicing to not get up close at all so this is optional. Basically your job is hurt enemies from everywhere and multi task as much as possible.

The Marksman is a long range fighter thanks to his two cross bows. He excels at effect damage, especially poison damage over time. Being a long range fighter and having low health (not as low as sorceress), means you have no reason to be near a monster. His main attack is ‘Shoot’ and you must spam this as much as possible. Do as much damage when you can. The ‘Poison streak’ ability which uses focus and allows you to launch a projectile that deals poison damage and poisons those enemies. ‘Essence trap sigil’ is the trap skill that makes all traps within 10 meters of the player generate more essence when they kill. Lastly ‘Domain of entropy’ is the world skill that causes all damage over time effects to deal increased damage. Straight away you can see that this character specialises in damage over time and poison. The Marksman relies heavily on traps at all times. He is more of a support role all the way. The very first thing to upgrade is your main means of attack, those cross bows. Invest some points in ‘Shoot’, ‘Splintering bolt’ and ‘poison bolt’. This will allow your Shoot attack to have AOE (area of effect) and poison damage which when upgraded makes a big difference. The marksman has a huge advantage over the other two classes. He has access to the ‘Mark of the craftsman’ passive ability straight away which reduces the construction cost of all traps. Make this one of your top priorities with upgrades. ‘Entropy Expertise’ is another top priority passive skill has it increases all damage over time effects of traps which is something this class specialises in. The game plan is to poison as much as you can with the ‘shoot’ and ‘poison streak’ and build traps that do damage over time effects and then activate ‘Domain of Entropy’ to bring intense suffering and death to everything that rises against you.

The ‘Mercenary’ is the big guy who ate all of his mum’s cooked foods to get strong. He battles it out it up close with the ‘Strike’ ability which is his main means of attack. It delivers heavy damage and grants rage with each hit. ‘Ghostly shape’ is an active ability that allows you to dash forwards at blinding speed, charging through all enemies dealing physical/ice damage. His trap boost active ability allows you to select a trap which then does significantly more damage for 8 seconds. ‘Touch of death’ is the world skill that afflicts all enemies with physical vulnerability for a short period of time. The ‘Mercenary’ has a huge advantage over the others, his health. He is a tank and therefore can use yourself to force your enemies to stand on certain traps, this is because when you are near enemies mostly stop moving and fight you. With that amount of health you won’t be dying any time soon and so they must stay on continuous damage traps. Firstly you must invest upgrade points in your main attack, so ‘Strike’ and ‘Paralyzing assault’ which makes your strikes have area of effect and a chance to stun enemies. You may next need to focus on ‘Touch of death’ to increase the damage that all physical attacks from both you and traps do to all enemies everywhere. Don’t invest upgrade points in ‘Ghastly shape’ as it tends to take you away from enemies which isn’t what the Mercenary is about, although it is very useful to use until replaced as you can use it to increase your mobility. Use it to catch up to certain monster who are trying to make a run for it or traverse the map like no other (keep an eye on your rage meter though. The strategy with the Mercenary is simple. Get up in everythings face and beat it in with ‘Strike’ but when things get activate ‘Touch of death’ and then select a physical damaging trap with ‘Trap boost’. It’s a devastating combination. Therefore it is rise to invest upgrade points in ‘Mechanical mayhem analysis’ which increases the amount of experience points you get from each mechanical trap kill.

Now the traps are the main thing about this game indeed. There are so many traps, we heard there are 25. Now knowing where to put these traps and when is so important. Never forget that no trap is completely useless but some traps are definitely better than others. Check out your traps map selection screen. You will notice that the traps have to be unlocked by fulfilling certain conditions. Traps are split into 5 categories: Mystical ground, Mechanical ground, Mystical tower, Mechanical tower and summoning. Throughout the level are spots, marked, showing what type of tower can be built there so it pays to look at the map first before building to know where to put certain traps. Mechanical traps tend to do mostly physical damage but some do both physical and other element damage like the ‘Razor launcher’. Traps also have types of enemies that they are stronger or weaker against. For example the ‘Spear trap’ is effective against armoured enemies but weak versus horde enemies, this is because of the type of tower. That’s right the traps also have types. The towers are also split into types like: Concentrated, Piercing, Splash and nothing. Concentrated are good against ‘Giant’ enemies but weak against ‘armoured’. Piercing is good against ‘Armoured’ but weak against ‘Horde’. Splash is good against ‘Horde’ but weak against ”Giant’. Type-less traps are just general and work equally with all enemies. So you literally should check out and know each trap, what they are good against, when to use them and the upgrades they can get.

Regardless of what character you are, the ‘Gun sentry’ should be your all round traps that you can always rely on. They hit everything and deal great damage with very good range. Once upgraded they have area of effect and can slow down enemies. Best to use these in groups as that’s when they start to really shred enemies. This trap however can be truly power with the mercenary because if you build multiple in an area, they can deal focused physical damage on a certain enemy then the player can use trap boost to enhance the damage of one of them and also activate ‘Touch of death’ making the enemies receive more damage from physical attacks then lastly combine with your ‘Strike ability’. Trust us, nothing survives that. Not even bosses. The ‘Lightning pillar’ has terrible first impression as initially you would think it’s rubbish but once upgraded, it becomes a very effective trap. Always invest upgrade points in ‘Multi jolt’ and ‘Extra charge’ allowing the trap to have more charges to fire and the chance to hit multiple enemies at once. The ‘Acid geyser’ excellent with both the ‘Mercenary and ‘Marksman’ but better with the latter due to special abilities. The ‘Acid geyser’ deals poison damage to whatever enemy stands on it but once upgraded it can also poison enemies and deal damage over time. Best of all this trap also afflicts enemies with 30% vulnerability against physical attacks. This means that enemies struck by the ‘Mercenary’ and hot by the ‘Marksman’ will receive increased damage but since it does poison and damage over time the active abilities of the Marksman like ‘Domain of Entropy’ will increase the damage to it’s full potential.

The enemies don’t require that much detailed talk because if you know your traps well and strategically place them, then regardless of the enemy you will most of the time come out on top. Enemies are also split into factions, types and classes (Not sure if those are the right names though). The factions are: undead, mechanical and mythical. what faction you will face is only dependent on the location of the level. No in game differences. The types are: Normal, giant, armoured and horde. The types you should be aware of already because of the traps and what their strengths and weaknesses are. If you remember the traps well then enemy types aren’t a problem. Giants are weak against concentrated because concentrated traps never leave their target until out of range and they are normally slow moving. Piercing traps are good against armoured because they have the ability to do regular damage through armour while others are reduced damage. Splash damage are good against horde because they can harm multiple enemies at once. Makes sense. Off course all enemies will be harmed and killed by any trap but some are effect only due to logical reasons. The classes are (first two aren’t official names): regular, champions and bosses. For example the ‘Lesovik’ is a simple enemy with 1100 health, damage is 145 and has the simple fire bolt ability which launches a bolt of fire at you. The ‘Lesovik champion’ has 14000 health, damage is 200 and does more damage to your gate. The ‘Forest demon’ is a bigger step up from the champion version and is a boss with 28000 health, damage is 250, does more damage to your gate and has the ability to summon other smaller monsters to rush for your gate. There are more powerful monsters like these.

The simple recipe for this game is to know your style and how to adapt it to the many situations you will find yourself in. Before you start a level check the map to see what enemies are coming and where they are coming from as that might just save your life. Wisely upgrade your character and focus more on skills that you need and suit what your character can really do. While playing keep your other eye on the mini map to keep track of what’s going on as some enemies will try to sneak past you into your gate. Don’t try to upgrade all traps. Only upgrade what you use and what you need. Better to have some powerful traps then many weak traps that can’t keep up with the enemies. Don’t worry if you upgraded wrong as there is an awesome feature to get back your upgrade points. Buy and craft the best items for your character. If you are playing with a friend then communicate at all times and use your abilities to the best. Last of all, it’s just a game so take it easy and have some fun while slaughtering monsters. Now get out there are save the world.

Supreme commander 2 is a real time strategy (RTS) game that came out in March 2010, developed by ‘Gas Powered Games’. This game is one of our favourite RTS games and most likely the best one we have played. This game allows you to have complete control over your army and building. The name Supreme commander is definitely suitable here. The game features immensely large battles with a wide range of units for the player to use to their advantage. We still play this game to this day and X35 Earthwalker himself talks about how one mistake can cost you the entire match making it quite tense.

In the world of Supreme Commander 2 there are three factions: UEF, Illuminate and Cybran. The UEF are like the normal military with ranks, protocals and traditional units which look like modern day tanks. The Illuminate are more like an advanced energy based group that stick to themselves. The most peaceful. The Cybran look the most sci-fi and technologically advanced group with tube generated humans and even a mutated creature. In the campaign you get to control 3 different commanders who command, build and battle in an ACU (amoured command unit). A ACU is a giant mechanical machine that has loads of armour and one arm cannon. These things are rare on the battlefield since only commanders can use them. With the ACU you have complete control over everything from what you build, who builds and your army. The first part of the campaign is about the UEF and you control ‘Dominic Maddox’, who is UEF, and go through his story dealing with being on the run from your faction due to disobeying orders. The second part is about the Illuminate where you control ‘Thalia Kael’, who is Illuminate and start of by defending against an attack from Cybran forces. The third part is about the Cybran where you control Ivan ‘Brackman’ who ends up in an all out battle against a commander who has both Cybran and Illuminate units. The campaign in it’s self isn’t all that interesting to us but it did have it’s moments though with the connections between character and individual stories.

The main thing about this game is literally the multiplayer battle action. The wars in this game can be so large that you may lose track of certain aspects of the battle. Console versions of the game have a maximum unit cap at 200 while PC can have up to 500. Imagine having over 100 tanks to attack an enemy base while keeping your engineers building, while researching new units and creating an effective base layout all at once while defending against attacks and predicting all at the same time. It gets crazy and intense over time. There are three types of units in the game: land, air and sea. I’m sure gamers can guess what each are about but let us say this. Sea units like submarines and battle cruisers are very powerful and not to be ignored. A group of ships can destroy an enemy base by themselves. Each type has multiple different units. Some units are specialised as in they have one purpose only while some have multi functions like can do air dog fights while also performing as a gunship assaulting land units. You have units like the ‘P-shield’ which creates a shield that protects ally units from fire and artillery while others focuses only on shooting missiles out of the air. Specialised units are more powerful than multi task units at what they do. Each faction has their own units and experimentals so what faction you are and what faction your enemies are changes everything.

Since there is so much types and many different units the amount of strategies One of the best things about this game is almost endless different situations you can find yourself in and endless different attack strategies you can throw at your opponent. As if watching the lands, sky and sea was bad enough, there is also experimental units that alone can wipe out your army. Experimentals are very large super units that have a lot of health, high damage and always earn attention. For example, the ‘fat boy 2’ has an ridiculously large range. When it look like you are a mile away the fat boy 2 can still hit that target, because of this they are one of the best at harassing your enemies and forcing them to make a quick move against you to save their bases. The ‘Cybranosaurus rex’ has incredibly large amounts of health and breaths fire on everything (except air), while launching mini explosives and missiles from it’s back. Then there’s the ‘Kraken’ which rules the seas with its tentacles which all fire lasers at anything and we mean anything not even air units are safe. It can dive under the water to protect its self from damage and attack many units at once. There are many experimentals so you can’t just really have one strategy and think it would work for the whole match. Boy are you wrong. If an air fortress shows up and then releases a multitude of gun ships, you might just die after all. However, nothing is more terrifying than seeing multiple ‘Monkey Lords’ approaching your base. Rumour has it that there is no stopping that

This is one of the main reasons that we felt this game was one of the best of it’s kind (Excluding all the hacking and glitch cheats) was because there were so many options on how to war. You could have over 100 hundred tanks swarm your enemies, bring slow certain doom to them by huge experimentals, bombard from the sea with your fleet of annoying ships, snipe the enemy commander with bomber ships from the sky, upgrade your ACU making it an unstoppable one man army machine, or just straight up nuke the enemy and everything they stand for. X35 Earthwalker even once created 5 nuke launchers and sent 25 nukes at an enemy base and their sub base. By the way, nothing was left. UEF are said to be more defensive and artillery based, Illuminate are said to be more rush and sniping based while Cybran are said to be more experimental hording based. Thanks to all this variety, scouting out what your enemy is doing regularly is so important, otherwise you will never know what will come next. Switching up strategies in this game is so easy and we love that. One minute your enemy comes with an army of air and after surviving that attack, you then find that you are being bombarded from the sea and if you don’t have defenses in place, then most of your base will be destroyed before you have suitable means to counter. Matter of fact you may get hit by an air force, seas force and some land experimentals but thanks to the options you can even survive and counter against that. This game has that many solutions and options. Never forget to scout.

Matches would almost always be over an hour in length. The graphics were great for it’s time and the maps were a nice variety. You could do ‘free for all’ (FFA) on large or small maps or team battles. The two game modes, assassination and Supremacy make all the difference. In supremacy you have to destroy absolutely everything that belongs to the enemy players to defeat them and win the game but in assassination you only have to destroy the enemy ACU so sniping techniques are always going to be thrown at you, whether by a long chain of bombings from flying units, heavy fire from gun ships, teleporting units or the classical nuke. Strategies literally change up depending on the game mode. X35 Earthwalker does prefer assassination though as he believes the matches are shorter and feel more strategic when it comes to offence and defense.

Supreme Commander 2 really did do well at making the player feel like they had supreme command over their armies, ACU and even how and where they build, making this one of the best real time strategy games ever made in our opinion. ‘Gas Powered Games’ did an excellent job with this game.

World of Van Helsing: Deathtrap is a tower-defense action RPG game that deserves to be played. This game was developed by ‘Neocoregames’. If you like RPG games and quite a strategic gamer then this game is for you. This game is just like dungeon defenders but less cartoony and more monsters and ghouls and stuff. X35 Earthwalker has recently been playing this game and so far he has mainly good things to say about it.

You start the game with a lengthy video explaining pretty much everything you initially need to know about the game. Then you get to select the type of character you want to play as: sorcerer, mercenary or marksman. Basically do you want to be a spell caster, close range fighter or a long range marksman. The spell caster can do very effective magic attacks and damage at mid range but weak up close due to low health. The mercenary gets right up in the fight and stands toe to toe with the hordes themselves. The marksman strikes from a distance away and inflicts poison damage. It comes down to your style of play. The good thing is that you can have multiple characters and play them whenever you want.

In this game the main and only way to win this game is by the towers and traps you build; however the towers are 70% because the rest comes down to how you play your character thus the combination of tower and RPG. Each level will have red lines showing you where the enemies will be coming from for that wave and the path they will take. How you build and when you build is important here because there are different types of enemies like: horde, armour, giant and more. Certain enemy types are weaker against certain types of towers and this does matter. Certain enemies are close range attackers while others are long range and the player needs to take note of this for future encounters when the levels start to challenge you way more.

The type of traps there are: Mystical ground, Mechanical ground, Mystical tower, Mechanical tower and Summoning. Ground traps are placed on the… well… ground and trigger when an enemy steps on it. Towers can only be built on the altar looking things and summons can also be built on the ground. The game has we believe 25 different traps in this game which is really large for a tower game. So far none of these towers come off as useless. Each one is definitely situational and the player must know when to build each one. Mystical ground like the lava grill are incredibly effective when you can keep the enemies piling up and staying on top of it. Mech ground traps like the spear trap are best to heavily weakened that one enemy that take time to die. Honestly X35 Earthwalker isn’t a fan of the mystical lightning tower but it’s good for helping your character in focusing on that one annoying enemy. The mech gun sentry tower is the trap that you must always have as that all round one that you can rely on. Summon traps like the monster cage are perfect for stalling for time and holding up the enemy allowing you to be in two places at once.

Each level has a boss in the last wave who deserves your attention. Make sure you know what boss is coming your way or you WILL get a nasty surprise. Some bosses can summon the monsters while some spam monster summoning. Other bosses shield enemies and more effects. What we so like about this game is the variety. So many different enemies, so many different traps and so many different bosses. It gets better, the game has even a monster encyclopedia so you can know everything about each one and the encyclopedia is available during levels so no nasty surprises for players. Some levels have enemies which are marked on the map and stay in ghost form. They stop being ghosts only during a wave and that’s your only chance to fight them. When you beat them, some drop keys that you use at the end of the level to unlock extra rewards and items so they are worth beating but since it’s during a wave the enemies may sneak past  and destroy your gate so timing is everything.

The best thing about this came is that there is co-op. X35 Earthwalker has played with Diamondz L45 and it’s literally just a better experience. This game was meant for team work though as you can have 3 of your friends join in the action to help you defend the gates from the hordes of monstrosities. The game has a simple to understand but good equipment system where you can equip armour, helmets, weapons and other items to improve your character. There are multiple different items and even a goblin like creature that other s’great offers’ that’s available for a limited amount of time. Those great offer items are normally good and always worth checking out. You can tell you need to spend time of this game because the upgrade section has so many upgrades available with passive upgrades and active upgrades for your traps and your character. You get points to upgrade from completing levels and more with better performances.

The graphics, design and attention to details on characters, levels and effects are done very well. The animations of the characters and monsters are constant and flow very well. A lot of effort went into this game and we appreciate that. X35 Earthwalker gave this game a chance because he knows how hard it is and how much is spent into making games and so he tries them out. This game is really good and we will get into it. ‘Neocoregames’ you did a great job with this game and we hope to see more for this game.

If you don’t know Outland then shame on you for missing out on an awesome game with beautiful graphics and well composed music that sets the atmosphere very well. Outland was originally on the PC, Xbox and PS. It’s a 2D dynamic platformer game. Read our previous blog to learn everything you need to know concerning this game.

Recently X35 Earthwalker and Diamondz L45 played Outland in co-op mode online. At first we expected it to be only the co-op challenges that you find through out the single player story but we were wrong. Co-op is actually the full story but with two people. You discover secrets together, fight together, get power ups together and best of all, take down bosses together. The whole exciting experience but with a friend to help you.

The only difficult thing about co-op is that you don’t share the money. This means when you come across power ups, at times maybe only one of you can afford the power up. This is annoying as they could have made the game share the money but this just adds some factors to the game. Taking on the huge bosses together is like the most exciting part of co-op. It feels like a rematch. Bosses don’t take as much damage as in single player though, so the both of you have to really mess them up and strike together.

As you do come across the co-op portals you can accept the co-op challenges. These are unique to co-op only. These challenges vary and we assume get more difficult. The first one was to see how well you and your partner handles splitting up to grab coins, fight weak enemies and make it to the end together. So basically communication. It was honestly a lot of fun. X35 Earthwalker took the top path while Diamondz L45 took the bottom path. It turned into a race half way through, until we got to the part with the switches where one must open a section for the other to then reach another switch. Then both must make it to the end together. Off course you get a score for your performance at the end to brag about.

Maybe the best part of co-op is that fact that both characters don’t look the same. The second player (or client player) controls a man who wears 3/4 shorts which are quite baggy. Then when you get the light spirit your character looks exactly like the man from 20,000 years ago. The tribal skirt thing, the head band feathers and everything. This was X35 Earthwalkers favourite part. The man also folds his arms just like that man as well. You feel like an absolute boss playing that guy. It shows the developers went through extra effort to create another character and not just a clone. Also the character you control glows to signify which one is yours at all times.

Overall co-op is so far extremely great. X35 Earthwalker looks forward to going through the whole thing in co-op now. It’s like a new experience instead of a repeat. If you have the game then you have to try co-op after doing the single player because you won’t regret it. Just when we thought Outland couldn’t get any better. Once again the developers ‘Housemarque’ did an outstanding job and we encourage you guys to continue making awesome games like this. Hopefully a sequel to this comes out soon as well. This game has to be checked out.

Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy is an awesome game developed by ‘Square Enix’ and was released in 2013 for Xbox 360 and PS3. X35 Earthwalker himself loves this game but like with other great games there is also some weak spots in the game. We have been playing the game again recently and we made some huge progress. About to face Caius in an ultimate swordsman battle. If you want to play this game then make sure you can do the following things: good reflexes, good multi tasking, good memory and persistent. If you don’t then you can still play but things will be a bit harder.

Lightning truly returns and boy does she know how to make an entrance. Basically you play Lightning who has been chosen by Bhunivelze to be the saviour who is tasked with bringing souls from the world to the next life. As the saviour she has the power to take people’s souls and immense strength and other powers. This is because the end of the world is here. The world has only 6 days left and time doesn’t wait for you making this a game where you can’t stay still. You must work fast and act fast. Use your days awisely and ecide what order to complete quests and anything else. The story in this game is very well done and it all adds up nicely together. Within this time you must save as many souls as you can. This can be done by completing quests for them. Some people need to gain hope again. Some need a certain item returned to them to inspire them. Some have unfinished business and it’s all up to you to help them out. Each soul you collect increases your stats: hp, strength and magic. There is numerous quests to complete and you better complete them for several reasons. First, you need to complete the game. Second, you need to boost your stats otherwise you won’t be able to beat any boss. Third because if you complete main quests you can extend the amount of days you have till the end of the world. We heard it can be extended up to by 7 more days. The many quests is why you need to be good and remembering and multi tasking as the quests can all pile on meaning, many things to do.

The graphics in this game are wonderful. The characters look so well designed. The details that went into the levels and areas are so great. The special effects look real good as well. The developers did really good for the time it was released. The sounds are on time and appropriate all contributing to the setting and mood of the game. The music isn’t the best from the franchise but still well done. It does help set the atmosphere in the area you are in. The A.I in this game are good, we can say. They are all doing their own things and look different from each other (we expect that from games as great as final fantasy). There are 4 different areas for the player to explore: Luxerion, Yusnaan, The wildlands and the dead dunes. What we love at X35 Earthwalker is always variety. Each of those areas are so different from each other. Luxerion is a peaceful city where entire groups wait patiently for the end with prayers and hope. A nice simple place. Yusnaan is the exact opposite. Here, it’s parties, shows and celebrations all the time. They don’t seem to care. The wildlands is pure nature, fields and hunters. It’s like a small safari and looks lovely but danger is lurking around. The dead dunes is actually dead. Lots of sand, rocks, bones and runes. Only thing to do here is explore really. Different enemies but we wish for them to be more distinctly different from each other.

The combat is the main thing here. Like with final fantasy 13 and 13-2, the enemy appears and you get the chance to strike it first before fighting it. If you do then the enemy will start with 10% less health and 25% if you strike them without them knowing you were there. The actual fight is where the good reflexes come in handy. You have 3 schemata, basically battle sets. Each set you design and can have different abilities, stats, weapons and accessories. So for example you could design a schemata which focuses on heavy defense so you may equip the heavy guard ability and give a shield that has really high guard resistance to make enemy attacks do practically nothing. Recommend having a defensive, magic based and attack based schematas to make things easier. With one button you can switch between them at any time to suit the situation. So switch to your defensive for when you want to block a series or powerful attacks then switch back to your offensive ones. On top of that you must handle staggering enemies, exploiting their weaknesses and giving enemies ailments or removing your own. Things get tricky but mastering this part of the game will set you up nicely for everything else. Lastly if you block at the same time as an attack hits you, you greatly reduce the damage you receive and most of time take no damage at all.

The bosses in this game are definitely epic battles. When you face off against the likes of Noel, Snow, powerful monsters and off course Caius the guardian, it feels so epic especially with the music going trough your head. These guys no a thing or two about how to kill their enemies. When facing a boss, you can’t just rush your enemies and win. Nope, not at all. The difficulty is almost like final fantasy 13 where every fight is hard, long and strategic. You will need to not only use your 3 schematas but also create the right ones for the boss. You must block the attacks perfectly as much as possible to survive, you must exploit their weaknesses and do it all quick. If you need help then use your recovery items to add buffs or just regain health. Last of all use your EP abilities to your advantage. EP abilities range from completely healing you (curaga), damage all enemies and launch them into the air (quake) and over cloak which is the signature ability which slows down time for everything and everyone but lightning. Collect EP from completing big quests and replenish it from defeating enemies.

The schemata system is easy to understand and build. You can build up to 8 schematas (excluding the 3 active ones) we believe and keep them stored so you can just swap out your schematas whenever you want. Garbs are the main body of your schemata, not only are they different outfits but some come with their own abilities (like ‘flood’) and effects like increased damage resistance. Some are better than others concerning stat boosts and abilities but when others are better in terms of style and looks. Seriously they really range from fancy to warrior looking clothes. Go with your own style. The game has a save wherever you want feature which is very good and most gamers love that feature. Also there is a lot of accessories (adornments) to collect and wear. You could have an awesome looking ton berry lantern attached to lightnings cloths or get a tiara or crown and bunch of other stuff. There is a lot of options.

Overall this game is awesome and we love it. Some may find it difficult and we agree as it is, due to having a time limit and having multiple things to focus on at once. This final fantasy game is definitely different from the others and if any fans haven’t played it yet, we encourage you to play it. Lightning is still herself, strong and powerful. ‘Square Enix’ did a very great job. There is so much to say about this but we will leave it here.

Skylar & Plus: Adventure on clover island is new 3D action platformer coming out on Xbox, PC and PS4 in January 2017. This game was developed by ‘Right Nice Games’. You play ‘Skylar Lynxe’ who is the hero of this game who is a reluctant about it. She was captured by the villainous CRT who modified her and gave her that mechanical arm. Fighting against CRT and his henchmen will be quite the feat. Good thing she isn’t alone. She has an unlikely sidekick (who’s a owl by the way) called ‘Plux Owlsley’ and their aim is to save their newfound home from being turned into a wasteland by CRT.

Straight away you can tell that this game’s strong point is the characters. Kind of like with crash bandicoot. You don’t mind how wacky everything is, you just like the character and want to know more about them. If they appeared on a can of drink, you would think about buying the drink just because of them. This games graphic style is very good and looks less digital and more art like. The artistic side comes out especially when you look at the waterfalls and rocks it looks like it was drawn while other things like mechanical enemies look definitely digital. Knowing when to use one or the other is very important. The sceneries and settings of the levels all look like they are full of life and maybe theirs a squirrel nearby in the jungle area. You will travel across multiple areas in this game from beaches and volcanoes to mountains and deserts. We at X35 Earthwalker always love variety in games. It’s always more exciting to travel across completely different areas so good job developers.

Off course you must collect gadgets to traverse the world and help you overcome CRT. We knew it would be gadgets as the main character is mostly mechanical. We imagine the gadgets will merge with the suit and mechanical arm. Some of the gadgets are the jet pack, time orb and magnetic glove to help you progress and fight against CRT’s henchmen. The game is only single player. The game has quite a bit of comedy and does it quite well. The kind of comedy that shows just how silly some of the characters can be. It makes you chuckle whether the jokes are bad or not. So far we am liking the look of the game and want to see what becomes of it.

This game is worth checking out.

DOOM was released the 13th of May 2016. We love this game and even to this day it is still entertaining and can get you excited. The decision to make DOOM similar to the ultimate Doom and Doom 2 was for the best as that’s what all the long time Doom fans are use to and waiting for. Doom 3 and Doom 3 resurrection of evil were good games. Those games took a more survival horror approach and it worked well but just isn’t the Doom formula. DOOM is non stop action where destruction is everywhere.

The campaign has one major flaw… the story. There isn’t much. We know that the previous Doom games were like that. It was a simple story about how you need to kill everything and get from point A to point B and then point C. This isn’t a bad thing. Not every story needs to be big and complicated but with this new DOOM coming out after years, there is more than enough room for something epic to be taking place. Here you are doom guy (off course) and you wake up, chained down on a table/altar thing, to seeing some demon monsters coming for you so you break free and easily kill them. Then you learn that there is a demon outbreak happening in the facility. So you do what doom guy does best… kill everything. The game does a good job of showing that doom guy isn’t a talking character and just pure mad action, pretty much blood lusted all the time. He smashes monitor screens, doesn’t know how to take things out gently and unless you restrain him first, he will attack you. The campaign is just demons after demons and the different types makes things a quite interesting. Explosive barrels carelessly left around for you to use to your advantage and now thanks to the ability to jump, the mobility has been stepped up. Death from above anyone?

All the classic weapons are back. Pistol (no flashlight), shotgun, heavy assault rifle, chain gun, plasma gun, super shotgun (everyone’s favourite), rocket launcher, BFG 9000 and the brand new guass cannon which is basically high accuracy concentrated beam single shot blaster. What’s very new and makes a big impact is the fact that each of the weapons has mods now. Basically some small modifications to the gun. Firstly you must find the mods throughout the campaign. For example the shotgun has two mods: charged shot and explosive shot. The charge shot allows you to briefly charge your shotgun to release 3 rapid fire shots with tighter spread. While the explosive shot allows you to fire a explosive round like a grenade launcher. If that wasn’t enough each of the mods can be upgraded to make them even more devastating. like reducing the charge time for the charge shot to be available, increasing the rate of fire of the burst. Wait! It gets better. When all the upgrades have been done, you get the chance to unlock the final super upgrade by fulfilling certain conditions like hit a certain amount of enemies directly with the explosive shot. Since we at X35 Earthwalker are real nice we will tell you what the final upgrade to the explosive shot mod is. Basically any direct hit with the explosive shot will release cluster bombs that cause extra damage. Great for big demons. So getting all of these things will take some time and keep the player going. We have unlocked all and can confirm that they make things so unfair for the legions of hell.

The multiplayer is crazy. Just like the campaign it’s nothing but fast paced, weapon blasting, destruction. A lot of effort went into multiplayer. The multiplayer actually has some weapons and features that campaign doesn’t have. The new guns for multiplayer are: ‘Vortex rifle’ which is basically a chargeable sniper rifle, ‘Burst rifle’ which is as it’s called a burst firing rifle, ‘Hell shot’ which is an argent energy burst firing weapon that can be like an incendiary launcher also, ‘Lightning gun’ which fires a short range constant stream of electricity and can electrify walls and floors, ‘Static rifle’  which is a precision weapon that gains power when in constant motion so don’t stand still. There is more new ones available but with DLC though, like: the ‘grenade launcher’, ‘Reaper’ which fires hell energy blasts and ‘EMG Mark V’ which is a rapid fire pistol capable of charged shots. With all these weapons plus some guns from the campaign and the fact that you can carry two at a time, some crazy combinations can be made. Like you might want a rocket launcher to harm enemies around corners while having a super shotgun to finish them off for when they do come around that corner. There is also equipment to go along with the weapons. Basically tools that help give you an advantage depending on your play style. For example grenades straight up kills enemies, ‘shield wall’ literally creates a one sided  wall that blocks everything, ‘Hologram’ which is just a decoy for you to trick enemies, ‘Threat sensor’ which makes sounds when an enemy is nearby warning you in advance. There are more equipment like the ‘Tesla rocket’, ‘Siphon grenade’ and ‘Personal teleporter’.

If that wasn’t crazy enough in multiplayer a ‘demon rune’ can appear from time to time. When it does, everyone runs for it and with good reason because whoever is the first to touch the demon rune will transform into the demon they selected in their load out. Each demon is very different from each other and has their own ways of destroying everything. Each has a good amount of hit points (some have considerably more) and can pretty much kill everything in one attack. The Revenant relies on it’s shoulder mounted rocket launchers to blow the competition away. The ‘baron of hell’ is all melee action and can send a fire spikes through the ground. The ‘lurker’ can dash through the air and cling to walls, pouncing on everyone and carrying players away to their death. The ‘Mancubus’ is slow but has powerful blasters that obliterate foes, be careful not to over heat the guns though. So watch out for the demon rune as it can easily change the tide of a match in or against your favour.

The best thing about DOOM is ‘Snapmap’. This has to be the heart of DOOM. It’s basically like Halo’s forge mode. You get to build whatever levels you want with so many options available. You could make a survival level where hordes of demons keep coming and you must survive. You could make a a giant maze filled with invincible enemies and the player must find the exit to win. You could make a level where the player must seek and find a key or button to unlock doors and find more keys for more doors. Best of all you could make a story mode like level, with monsters, objectives and even a survival section all in one. The best part is that this is all community based. Meaning you can create levels for other Doom players to play and even rate the levels. There are over a thousand different maps created for you to play and this is what keep you playing DOOM after campaign and after when you need a break from the multiplayer. Play with your friends or join other people online. So many options and so much to do and try. X35 Earthwalker has even created a map and it’s a challenge. Matter of fact We don’t know if anyone has beat it yet (we haven’t been notified). If you want to try X35 Earthwalkers map then search for ‘get out of there’. The author name is cyber inferno (X35 Earthwalker). Designing your own level isn’t hard either as there are some good tutorials and the options are pretty much self explanatory. Just dive in and give it a go. You could make a mancubus appear by the player entering a certain room or by standing on a certain button. Let your creativity come out.

Overall we really like the game and trust that fans of first person shooters will like it too. For more information check out the link below:

Catherine is a puzzle platformer adventure game but we say it has some horror elements. This game came out in Japan in February 2011 but in Europe February 2012. This game is excellent and deserved more love from the gaming community than it got. If you like puzzles, cinematics and an extremely interesting story then this should interest you.

Basically in the world of Catherine you play Vincent Brooks, a computer programmer or repairer, not sure but what we do know is that he is in a relationship with long time girlfriend Katherine and the topic of marriage and other big topics are coming up from her. This makes him uncomfortable and can’t avoid the topics anymore but must make a decision. That night he has a strange dream where he is carrying his pillow, in his sleeping shorts and has sheep horns on his head. He is in a strange place where a voice tells him that if he wants to live, he must climb. This isn’t a dream, it’s a nightmare. It certainly doesn’t help that rumours are going around that there’s a dream where if you fall and die, you die for real life. Also a new girl shows up in Vincents life and trouble starts and then gets way out of hand. What’s going on? what’s with this nightmare happening right after the question of marriage? Why is all this happening now? Who will he hold on to? So which Catherine? It gets real good. Trust us.

The game is split into three parts: watching the cinematics, chilling in the bar and tackling the nightmares. The cinematics are very nice and frequent but not too much to where it gets annoying. These cinematics take players through the story and reveals what’s happening in the characters life. We must admit cinematic scenes are very well done and keep our interest. You must pay attention as it reveals clues also to what is really happening in this world. The bar, called ‘the stray sheep’, is where Vincent hangs out and drinks with his buddies. Here is the most important part of the game. You can talk and interact with characters and objects here. These interactions actually make an impact on the game. You get to listen to others and maybe help them with their problems in life. Just saying this though, what we also like about these characters is that their problems are realistic as gamers and viewers of this game can understand and probably even relate too. Here you can also learn secrets and discover new things from conversations. tip from us: Make sure to have at least two drinks as it really helps out in the game.

The night mares is the core of the game and where all the puzzle action comes into play. Here you must climb up the blocks to reach the top of the wall of blocks. To do this you must move, pull and connect block to make paths to get up. This is way easier said than done. The blocks can magically connect at the ends and stay in position, defying gravity, even if nothing is beneath it. You must learn climbing techniques to figure out how to do this. The puzzles and walls get harder over the time (obviously) until you get to points where you may have to scratch your head once or twice. We at X35 Earthwalker strongly suggest that you play in medium difficulty as a minimum as easy mode is far too easy. Hard mode is for fast thinkers and clever gamers or just if you want a challenge. Most exciting in hard mode though. At the end of each nightmare area is a horrifying boss which will terrify any gamer on the first time seeing one. They are all gigantic and will chase you up the wall. Each boss has it’s own special abilities which just makes things all the more panic worthy. Each boss does have a meaning though as some gamers say each one symbolises something. We will leave that to the gamers to figure out.

Wait! There’s more. The blocks are just simple blocks. The main blocks are white blocks which function as normal, nothing special. Dark blocks are heavy and take like 3 times as long to move, costing you time. The dark blocks with faces on them can’t be moved at all, so don’t even try. Trap blocks, which have many little holes, activates when stepped on and if you stay too long or try to move another block while one, then you will die. Ice blocks are slippery and if you move on them you will slide by force all the way until you reach another block, a wall or the edge of the map stage (which means death). Bomb blocks will activate once stepped on and will explode in 3-4 seconds and damage or destroy all other blocks around it which could ruin all your hard work setting up blocks. There are more but gamers must discover them for themselves.

This game has local multiplayer! Babel is for Catherine pros only. This is table banging, control throwing (we didn’t throw ours) head scratching, scream action. You are given the challenge of climbing four towers: altar, Menhir, Obelisk and Axis Mundi. Each level increases in difficulty seriously. The Catherine masters are the ones who can beat Axis Mundi and X35 Earthwalker is one of them. If you want to prove that you are the man of legends then try beating your friends in a one on one climb off where the winner is praised and the loser… well… dies (but not in real life). These are where our biggest laughs come from. Do you play with honour and climb nicely or do you push each other off and fight for survival like animals (or should we say like sheep)? Choose from multiple different levels each with their own unique features and difficulty and just have fun.

The game also has some small things that make big impacts. For example after trying certain beverages in the bar you get real life trivia knowledge about the drink which are great to know. There is a nice bronze, silver and gold system for how well you climb the towers. There are power ups in the story mode and one on one multiplayer which have simple but very powerful effects like the white cube and dark cube allow you to create on one space in front of you. The energy drink allows you to climb two blocks at once. The story has twists and makes things almost impossible to figure out without getting nearer to the end of the game. This is a model game for other developers to look at while and learn from. There is much to say but we will leave it here.

Overall, this game is excellent and we would recommend it to any gamer as we feel in love with after being introduced to it by ‘Diamondz L45’. The developers ‘Atlus’ did a wonderful job. For more information check out the link below:

Outland was a game that we had our eyes on for a very long time. Years even. Outland was originally on the PC, Xbox and PS3. It’s a 2D dynamic platformer game. This game is awesome straight up. X35 Earthwalkeris currently playing the game and has nothing but good things to say about it. Basically you play a man who has the same destiny as a man from 20,000 years ago. Two powerful being called, ‘The sisters’, helped created everything but also wanted to destroy everything. They got imprisoned by the gods. The man from 20,000 years ago went to a place called ‘eternity’ to face them, wielding the powers of light and dark. Our character starts of with yellow/orange-ish lines all over his body which is the neutral colour in this game, meaning not light or dark. Things that are orange are neither light or dark. A bit further into the game you get to control that man from 20,000 years ago and there are some clear differences. The man has the ability to become pure light or dark (blue or red respectively). When light, light energy attacks can’t hurt him. When dark, dark energy attacks can’t hurt him either. Also he could only hurt light enemies when he is dark and vice versa. Up until that point we only faced neutral enemies. The next major difference is that our character stands in a ready to move position with hands by his side, while the man from 20,000 years ago stood like a boss, with arms folded everything. Bursting with confidence. Do we seriously get to become like this guy?

You travel through multiple areas. Starting with the ‘Jungle’, a lush quiet place filled with natural enemies like spiders and plants. Lovely looking level that prepares you for everything to come. Next is called ‘Origin’ where the player can reach all the other areas and the gate to where the Sisters are. The next area is the ‘Underworld’ where things are dark, dirty and not pleasant at all, filled with humanoid weapon wielding enemies and flying enemies that shoot light and dark energy. giant sized spiders we believe are found here as well. The next area is the ‘City’ and boy does it look like a grand city indeed. Ancient and super large. This place has multiple humanoid enemies, giant soldier enemies with large maces, flying enemies. This area has is also the start of tricky level design like moments when you have to switch between light and dark quickly while dodging energy and even while fighting. The next area is ‘The Sky’ and boy this is literally. You are high up in a snowy mountain and everything we have encountered before is here and worse. All enemies can come as either light or dark. Giant sized spiders and soldiers are back as well with a new enemy too. This level will frustrate players with how difficult the levels within this area are now. The last area is called ‘Eternity’. This place is where everything you come across and face is back and in full force: enemies, hard level designs, light & dark energies, giant enemies, and even mini bosses like that giant soldier with the sword and shield. Combine it all together with the fact that enemies can now change from light to talk after a few moments and you have ‘eternity’.

As you play through the game you come across power ups, which have to be bought using the coins you find and get for killing enemies, and abilities like a ground pound, smite and energy shield. As you collect them, you start to feel more and more like the man from 20,000 years ago and eventually you feel way more powerful than he was. Honestly at this point we feel over powered (OP) for sure. You get to create combos like  like to send an enemy  flying forwards, then uppercut an enemy in the air, then  jump up to slash and finish with a charge attack and if they are still alive then finish with a powerful energy beam. this game is creative and does it very well. The graphics in the game are excellent, the sound effects are relevant and on point. The scenery is well detailed and the music is great and perfect at setting the feel of the locations. My favourite music in the game is the one for boss battles. It really makes me feel that I am in an epic battle and believe me the battle are epic. The boss battles are my favourite part of the game. They are all powerful and large enemies. Each fight requires a specific way to beat them, encouraging strategy and all your abilities work on them also. The boss in the ‘Sky’ is X35 Earthwalker’s favourite and he even said that it was the most epic battle so far. Also each boss has an interesting background story which gets revealed after defeating them. If you want a rematch with the bosses then go to arcade mode and take them on again. Also the achievements for this game are not impossible ones and can all be done.

You will have fun going through this game; however the story could have been told better as we don’t get much except at the beginning and after every boss fight. Other from that we honestly don’t really have a complaint against this game. We would also say that this game should have more music with more obvious differences between them. maybe more dramatic music for some levels though.  The developers ‘Housemarque’ did an excellent job. Many big reviews sites, like ign, game spot meta critic and eurogamer, and gamers all speak very highly of the game and rated it high. This game is awesome and definitely worth checking out.
